The conversation covered the current state and the future of corporate sustainability leadership and ways Chief Sustainability Officers and their teams must evolve to meet the moment, in part by transforming from specialists and subject matter experts to enablers of sustainability performance and value creation across the organization. They also considered lessons sustainability can draw from things like quality programs. Finally, the group reflected on GreenBiz's history in Arizona and what to expect when the event moves to San Diego in 2027.
