What if the greatest danger for Christians today is thinking we're prepared for eternity, while living on half-full lamps? In this episode, Heather reveals the hidden truth in Jesus' parable of the ten virgins: all ten had oil, but only five had enough to enter the marriage supper of the Lamb. She unpacks what this means for us now, why simply saying “I believe” falls short, and why God is looking for those who answer His call with a wholehearted “Here I am.” Through biblical examples and sobering insights, Heather exposes how lukewarm teachings have misled many into thinking partial obedience is enough. She emphasizes that true faith is proven by action, that sanctification is not optional but necessary, and that the fear of the Lord anchors us in daily submission. This conversation will challenge you to count the cost of discipleship, lay down your own desires, and embrace sacrificial service to others. Above all, it calls us to examine whether our lives reflect the oil of obedience—or risk being shut out of heaven's door. We hear the question all the time. Is the cup half full or half empty? I think we have been asking the wrong question. We should be asking do we have all that we need. Often times we get caught up looking at what others have, and we forget to be thankful for what we have. God loves when we show gratitude and when we do that, he will multiply and give us more. I challenge you to take a look at your life and ask the question. Do I have all that I need at this very moment.

Is your glass half-empty or half-full? In Half Empty or Half Full?, Megan J. Conner reflects on how our perspective shapes our faith. Through the story of Adam and Eve and the subtle lies of the enemy, she reveals how focusing on what we lack leads to spiritual discontent—and how gratitude and truth can shift our mindset back to the goodness of God. This episode is a powerful reminder that contentment starts with choosing to see abundance, even when circumstances tempt us to focus on what’s missing. ✨ Highlights How the enemy uses subtle deception to shift our focus from abundance to lack Why gratitude is key to spiritual peace and emotional resilience The ripple effects of perspective on our faith, speech, and actions A look at Genesis 3 and Proverbs 18:21 to explore the power of words and choices Practical challenge to build a daily habit of thankfulness and see your cup overflow

Rob Haworth, senior investment strategist at U.S. Bank Asset Management, says that the volatility and headline risks of the first half of 2025 haven't changed the outlook for the market and economy, which can grind through the rest of the year and into 2026 with modest gains. Haworth acknowledges "a lot of questions still to be answered," but he says that most of the answers will be within degrees of expectations, and a lack of surprises should allow the market to grind higher. That said, Haworth said investors will want to be properly diversified to protect themselves against the volatility and the news risks. David Trainer of New Constructs puts Carvana back in The Danger Zone, noting that the stock — which he first singled out in April of 2019 — has roared back from a low of $4 per share in December 22 to gain more than 50 percent year-to-date and nearly 150 percent in the last year, rising to a stock valuation "that implies that Carvana will sell as many vehicles as General Motors." Plus Greg McBride, chief financial analyst at BankRate.com, on their latest survey research, which showed that 60 percent of Americans are uncomfortable with their current level of emergency savings, and half of Americans don't have enough emergency savings to cover three months' expenses.
