After nearly a decade, talks of Grand Theft Auto 6 are starting to surface. But within that time, the social climate has changed, and Rockstar wants to make sure they adjust accordingly. Hence, Grand Theft Auto 6 aims not to "punch down". Dann and Thaddeus get into what this could possibly mean.
Dann and Thaddeus discuss the current string of controversies surrounding the Unity engine and speculate on the engine's future.

With the recent Nintendo Direct consisting primarily of ports, remakes, and remasters, Thaddeus and Dann speculate the direction Nintendo is taking with the switch five years into its lifespan.

Luckily, the Earth-shattering news that Microsoft is making moves to buy Activision to the tune of $68.2 Billion managed to shake them out of their otherwise catatonic state.
With The Game Awards functioning more and more as a platform to market upcoming games, and games-related media, Thaddeus and Dann dust off their crystal balls to guess what big announcements we will see at the 2021 show. Remember that time Matt LeBlanc guest starred on Married with Children, then got his own spinoff? Probably not, this is kind of like that, but way more successful...
