We are surrounded by toxicity in our lives. Do you do what you are “supposed to do” or do you do what feels right? Examples of not living your truth. You’re unethical AF. Have you ever done something unethical? Maybe you didn’t realize it at the time, but looking back you see it? Maybe You do unethical things because of the fear of losing your job. Maybe you just do what your boss tells you and you don’t know any better. So you create a toxic existence. Not only are you in a toxic workplace, but you are spewing toxicity all over the place. Intuitive Writing Exercise Is there a word, phrase, or feeling that consistently pops up? Is there one that really sucker-punches you in the gut?

Use a Google Phone Number or app messaging service like Voxer or Whatsapp. Set-up a business mailing address (could be a local PO box or a virtual one – I love Anytime Mailbox!) ➡️ You should never need to pay for anything or give any log-ins to anyone. ➡️ Clients will need to give you access to programs (whether they give you your own login or send you logins securely using LastPass or 1Password) but you should never give any of yours. ➡️ If they ask you to tell them a password you would like to use on a platform they are setting you up on, give a generic one you haven’t used elsewhere and then change it once you are logged in. This is for new business owners as well as seasoned. As intuitive, empathic women, it’s important we keep certain boundaries and levels of protection up around ourselves, so we don’t get overwhelmed with the sh!tty parts of being an entrepreneur - like when people unsubscribe, unfollow, or attack you online. In this Episode, Amanda discusses some of the common reasons female business owners take things personally and get sidelined in their business. Ways you can protect yourself: Remember you aren’t going to please everyone. What people think about you is none of your business. You have no idea what is going on in someone else's life. Start each day by acknowledging that someone or something will probably be upsetting today. But it does not define you. Surround yourself in protective energy. Meditate, exercise, read, pray - do whatever it is you do that grounds you. If you need ideas, let me know, I’ve got great resources. I offer ongoing support in my Free, Private Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/thewanderfulmom No matter what you do, don’t let these situations stop you from moving forward. If you do, they have won. You are never going to grow as a business owner or influencer without some haters. If you do, then you are trying to please everyone and probably helping no one. The big change for me besides implementing these tricks was to grow my supportive community. If you aren’t already in my FREE Facebook group, join now: https://www.facebook.com/groups/thewanderfulmom It helps to talk about things, and I love guiding intuitive and empathic women along their entrepreneurship journey. I recently heard something that was really helpful at that moment. I was in the middle of a big launch and feeling blessed and excited, but also very unworthy. Who the hell did I think I was? (Major imposter syndrome.) Even though what I was sharing was incredible and people wanted it. Even though I had many successful students. I still felt not good enough, and I found myself focusing on the fears of the haters (I hadn’t heard from any of them, but I knew they had to be out there.) So not only was I CREATING a problem that wasn’t even there, I was letting this imaginary thing hold me back from moving forward. It was also stealing the joy that I should have been relishing in. In this episode, I share some hard truths about fear, power and staying stuck where you are. Listen in to hear some serious mic drop moments! This sounds crazy right? Listen in as Amanda explains HOW CoronaVirus has Empowered Business Owners. Work from home moms, small business owners, laptop lifestyle freelancers, etc... - we are no longer the unrelatable black sheep. This pandemic has divided a lot of people, but it has also created a bridge between the corporate world and the rebels, (or rejects!) More and more moms who are now working from home instead of at the office, are seeing the vast benefits of working from home. I talk to moms everyday who want to start their own business, and work from home permanently, minus the corporate rules. Amanda supports women from all walks of life and in all stages. This podcast is for you no matter where you are at along your journey.
Welcome to the Corporate Rejects Podcast! I am your host, Amanda Davila, and I am so glad you found me! “Corporate Rejects” came to me as I was really hashing out how completely terrible it is for many moms to be working in a corporate setting, which generally does not make it easy on moms (or any woman!) As I connect deeper to my feminine energy and really see how motherhood can be negatively impacted by all of the negatives that come along with working outside the home, I have been called to make an impact in this area. This is why I am so passionate about building a community of fellow Corporate Rejects - mothers who want to continue to have something for themselves, but also be amazing moms. We reject corporate standards, such as having to return to work immediately after childbirth, burst at the seams because we aren’t given the time or space to pump breastmilk, deal with threats if we need to stay home with a sick child...the list goes on and on. I do not believe we were meant to work to death just to survive and then die. Yet so many of us end up in this toxic cycle. I am here to help empower and guide you towards the life you desire. What you can expect: Lots of loving guidance and solid advice; an abundance of laughter; the occasional well placed F bomb; guidance and education on becoming a work at home mom; support as you grow your business and move into the CEO role. No BS, no perfection, no expectations. Follow me on IG: www.instagram.com/theamandadavila
