    Be More Than A Lot

Play Episode Listen Later Sep 23, 2022 58:29

On Daily Faith, joining us today, is Pastor Earl Glisson. Pastor Earl is the Senior Pastor of Anchor Faith Church in St. Augustine, FL. He shares a powerful word hoping to catch our attention and return our focus to the Lord. Pastor Earl has released a book, More Than A Lot, a historical account of the life of a righteous man of the Bible called Lot. During his time, Lot avoided conflict and considered the easy way out, although he was a righteous man in his ways. After a time, Lot lived amid the city's wickedness, which eventually invaded his house. Because Lot chose not to use his voice, he lost it. We're living in similar situations today, and the church has shifted its focus off of the Lord and onto the world. We care more about what people think than what God thinks, becoming too comfortable. The Bible says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” Growth requires trimming and pruning so the Lord can use us; that often makes us uncomfortable. Where's faith, truth, and love? God is looking for those who will stand for righteousness' sake, despite the conflict. He is looking for those who will use their voice for the sake of the Kingdom of God! Time is of the essence; Don't lose it; use your voice for good!  For more information about Anchor Faith Church, please visit www.anchorfaith.com. To get a copy of More Than A Lot, Pastor Earl Glisson's newest book, visit www.anchorfaith.store.    Moldova is a country with one of the highest death rates caused by alcohol, harsh winters, and lack of support. Out of desperation, many families send their little ones to live in an orphanage: helpless, rejected by the world, stranded with their fears, and living in the unknown. At sixteen, they're forced to find a place of their own, where poverty and more trauma await. Before, these kids were subject to the false hopes of human traffickers, but they now have discovered the love of Jesus. The Orphans Hands ministry has saved and rescued the lives of countless children from a life of fear and abandonment. We have a village of homes in Moldova called Vatra Village. From orphans to sons and daughters, missionaries for the Kingdom of God, our kids are passionate about sharing the same love of Jesus, despite war conflicts. Filled with joy and learning more about God's faithfulness, they're using their voice to declare God's truth and righteousness to those who will listen. Our kids are ministering to the Ukrainian refugees, tirelessly meeting their needs through convoys of care with food, clothing, and Bibles. The harsh Moldovan winter is fast approaching, and they're asking for your help to share the warmth of God's love through a coat this Christmas. Tragedy Changes The Trajectory

Daily Faith is live in the studio with Bishop Jerry Grillo. Bishop Jerry Grillo is the Pastor of Church One80 in Hickory, North Carolina, an author and motivational speaker. Bishop Jerry has a powerful revelation that will change the trajectory of your understanding of Favor. Grace is God's unmerited favor given to us out of love and mercy, which, when harnessed, can have the biggest blessings attached to it. From the very foundation of the Earth, God has already set us up for victory through the tragedies we've experienced. Yet, If we are going to walk in the victory, we must act like it. We have to stop gleaning from the fields of others and calling ourselves blessed. The key lies in getting up and knowing in our hearts that these trials are meant for our future success. You have a field of favor waiting for you. Bishop Jerry has written a book, Finding The Field of Favor, where he shares nuggets of truth for you to glean from God's field. These tools are the keys to helping you discover your field of favor, full of God's purpose. It's time to understand His word, listen to His heart, and grasp His love for you. Be encouraged through the storm; there is a field of favor with immense blessings awaiting you on the other side. To learn more about Church One80 with Bishop Jerry Grillo, see www.churchone80.com, and to get your copy of Finding The Field of Favor, visit www.liveit2win.com.  Our world of favor started with a little blessing called Andre. His mother once orphaned him at a young age and found him in a horrific state in the orphanage. Little did he know that his tragedy changed his trajectory, setting him up for the biggest blessing of all; Adoption. Andrew's favor sparked a blessing in the lives of the other kids in the orphanage. We had found our field of favor. For over thirty years, The Orphans Hands ministry has saved and rescued the lives of countless children from a life of fear, pain, and misery. Once these kids were subject to the false hopes of the human traffickers, they now have discovered their own fields of favor and purpose through a heart of worship unto God. Our kids are sons and daughters, missionaries for the Kingdom of God. The grace of God has changed their course, where they walk in faith, wisdom, and favor. Recently, God has opened doors of opportunity to minister to the Ukrainian refugees, tirelessly meeting their needs through our relief convoys. These brave and courageous kids are passionate about sharing the same of Jesus they have received. Our kids know that harsh winter threats are on the horizon, and they ask for your help to share the warmth of God's love through a coat this Christmas. The Steps and Stops

The prophetic voice ringing loudly in our ears on Daily Faith today comes from Pastor Buddy Meloy. Recently, Pastor Buddy celebrated 30 years of ministry and has seen the faithfulness of God over and over. God has gifted Pastor Buddy with prophetic insight and vision into what's happening worldwide, and he wants to share with you vital information on what the Lord is looking for. We are living in extreme times in America and all around the world. The tip of the spearhead has been revealed, both negatively and positively. Fires are beginning to rage in various places, countries are at odds, high inflation, and droughts are occurring. However, we are reminded that when the enemy comes against us, God is raising His standard. The steps (and stops) of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord. God is rallying His troops, calling on mighty men and women of valor who will stand with bravery and courage in the coming days. As Christians, we are to be watchful and gird ourselves with the armaments of God. We don't have to be afraid or live in fear because the Greater One lives inside us. The Holy Spirit is our Helper, who enables us to discern the times we're living. So today, anchor your faith in Jesus by guarding your heart and listening to the Father. It's time for mighty men and women of God to stand victoriously! Be encouraged, the Lord is greater, and He is fighting our battles!  To learn more about New Life Christan Fellowship with Pastor Buddy Meloy, please see www.nlcflc.com.  We need your help. Countless men, women, and children are at risk and are suffering the violence of the Ukrainian war. Putin has sought to make his aim to destroy Ukraine as we know it. This means complete devastation for the families living there, desperately risking their lives to make ends meet. Even in the orphanages, children don't know what tomorrow will bring. The Orphans Hands ministry has rescued orphaned and abandoned children from the dangers of human trafficking for over thirty years. When these children are sixteen, in the orphanages, they're forced out on the streets, helpless, alone, and fearful. We have a village of homes in Moldova and a house in Ukraine that helps care for the needs of these children, and in turn, they are learning how the love of Jesus saved and set them free. Now, they're giving back to the needs of the Ukrainian refugees and are tirelessly working to bring hope and love. With the harsh Moldovain winters on the horizon, our kids have made it their mission to serve and clothe these homeless by providing them with a warm coat this winter. Our kids have risen in bravery and courage during these times, showing that with God's strength, nothing is impossible.  You can help The Orphans Hands ministry by sending a coat today. Hearts of Generosity

Joining us on Daily Faith is Pastor Terry Drost. He is the Lead Pastor of Peckville Assembly in Blakely, PA. Peckville Assembly is a multi-generational church that co-labors in strengthening its community for God's glory. They have a strong passion for mission and outreach, giving back to the community, and supporting the body of Christ. They exist to help others who can't help themselves. Pastor Terry discusses the importance of having a heart of generosity. The posture of our hearts determines everything we do in life. It's the center of our being and where all life matters flow. An old saying says, “you'll attract more flies with honey than with vinegar.” This means that kindness and love will get you further than being rude about a matter. If you're facing a situation that only God can change, we encourage you to change the posture of your heart to give. The word of God says that the Lord loves a cheerful giver. Giving is how you break the orphan spirit that can hinder future blessings. Freely we have received from Jesus, and freely we shall give. So, give from the abundance of your heart; it can be your time, money, or lending your ear to listen. When you reach beyond your need, caring for the needs of others, thankfulness flows from the heart, sowing seeds for future blessings in your life. As you give by faith, remember you can never outgive God.    For more information about Peckville Assembly of God with Pastor Terry Drost, see www.peckvilleag.org.    Moldova is one of the harshest and coldest places in Eastern Europe during winter. One blanket or coat during this time can mean life or death. Due to the lack of social support and necessities, many families send their kids to live in an orphanage. In the cold orphanages, it's a fight to survive, as helplessness breaks their hearts that no one will ever come for them. When these kids graduate from the orphanage at sixteen, they are kicked out with a bus ticket to a life of poverty and abuse, where the dangers of human trafficking become real in one moment. The Orphans Hands has become the intersection point for these kids by providing a warm place to live and grow in Jesus. Our kids are breaking the barriers of fear and discovering the power of thankfulness in our homes at Vatra Village and Odessa, Ukraine. These acts of kindness they've received have encouraged their heart to believe and give back. Right now, they're reaching beyond their needs to help bring hope, food, and supplies to the Ukrainian refugees. Our kids have asked for your help to provide the warmth of a coat to those in need as they continue to give during the winter season. Your love and generosity mean more to these children than you know; Thank you!  To reach beyond your world and help us provide a coat for Christmas, please visit www.coatsbychristmas.com and www.theorphanshands.org.

On Daily Faith, our guest and friend joining us is Pastor Keith Nix. Pastor Keith is the Lead Pastor of The Lift Church in Sevierville, TN. His passion is to teach and elevate people to their fullest potential in Christ.    In America today, lawlessness is rampant within the world, where evil is considered good. For far too long, the world has dictated the church's standards, causing this chaos. As Christians, we must recognize the signs we're living. When Satan oversteps his boundaries, he thinks we are an easy mark until he pushes through us, reaching God. God has given the church the keys of authority to allow and disallow things within the Church, pushing back the lies of the enemy. The word of God says, “...The gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven”, Matthew 16:18-19. Nothing has taken place that God has not seen. Still, it's time for godly men and women to spiritually awaken and arise, standing for righteousness' sake, to see the greatest revival in America!     For more information about The Lift Church with Pastor Keith Nix, visit www.theliftchurch.tv. Vatra Village in Moldova and our home in Ukraine have become the intersection point, helping to care for and provide for their needs. A spiritual awakening has begun within their hearts; they understand the meaning of the church as Jesus has established it. The love of Jesus has come alive within their spirit, identity is established, and faith is rising. Putin's' war continues to rage in Ukraine, and winter is on the horizon. Our kids are passionate about sharing the love Jesus showed them by meeting the needs of the Ukrainian refugees. God has given them the keys of authority as they seek revival in the land! On Daily Faith, joining us today is Pastor Buddy Meloy. Lead Pastor of New Life Christian Fellowship in Lake City, FL. He is also a dear friend, prophetic voice, and member of the Daily Faith family. Today, the revelation of the word, confirmed by the Holy Spirit, is our faith. We are living in the most unprecedented times in American and world history. Many Christians are in a faith battle where it has become increasingly difficult to see the way forward. We desperately need supernatural vision from the Lord to maintain and move to the next step of glory. Pastor Buddy shares insights about faith's ripple effects, the importance of walking in faith, and how it encourages our lives. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Although we're pushing forward with perseverance, faith maintains confidence in God through severe times. It says no matter what, I will bless the Lord! It's vital in the days that we're living to be rooted and grounded in God's word; that is where your strength comes from. As you take time to establish your faith in Jesus, He will give you the clarity to catch His vision, receiving a fresh outpouring of the spirit.    For more information about New Life Christian Fellowship with Pastor Buddy Meloy, please visit www.nlcflc.com.    The Orphans Hands ministry is the heart of our mission work in Eastern Europe. Neil Kennedy travels extensively, hosting conferences and training seminars on Biblical principles of authentic manhood. In helping to bring the word of God to life for others, Neil Kennedy has seen lives restored to God and their families, where healing and identity were released. There is a saying, “So goes the leader, so goes the pack.” Well, in America and around the world, we are suffering from a fatherless generation and identity epidemic. Many children are growing up with an orphan spirit, not knowing the love and admonition of a father. As they grow, they have difficulty relating to God as their heavenly Father. God created the family unit; the father is the head under Christ, so when the father is absent from the home, this crisis breaks up the home, and… so goes the pack. Neil Kennedy shares great insight and astounding revelation, helping you to see God as your Father knowing His love, character, and authority in your life, breaking the orphan spirit. Throughout his years of ministry, there have been ups and downs, but the Lord has remained faithful every season. More recently, Dr. Daryl has experienced a time of trial and tribulation, enduring some of life's roughest storms. During this season, the Lord began to bring tremendous insight and revelation, showing him that he was not alone. God used the heartache to draw him closer to Himself. Dr. Daryl discovered the comfort of the Lord Jesus and the guiding light of the Holy Spirit within his heart, stepping into a great anointing. From this process, Dr. Daryl has written a book, Prevailing Purpose: How I Survived The Darkest Moments of My Life, sharing fundamental principles he gained by trusting in the Lord throughout his pain and suffering. On Daily Faith, joining us today is Pastor Brent Simpson. He pastors Arise Church, a multi-campus church in Brandon, FL. Arise Church is one of the fastest-growing churches in America. Their main emphasis is on hosting the presence of God, creating an atmosphere of encounter with the Holy Ghost. By cultivating spaces of encounter with the Lord, they have seen exponential growth, deliverance, and healing in their community. Many people within the church today have become too comfortable with the routines of life. This has caused those to become spiritually blind to what God is doing in our midst. We are living in unprecedented times in America and around the world, where we must have God's power and presence to withstand these times of adversity. It's vitally important to understand that the power of God and the knowledge of His word will manifest His presence. It's time to wake from our sleep and slumber, standing courageously on the word of God. If we want to see the greatest outpouring of the Holy Ghost within our lives and in our country, we must have God's power and presence.   To learn more about Pastor Brent Simpson, visit www.brentsimpson.com. In Moldova, many families can't support themselves and end up sending their little ones to grow up in an orphanage. In the orphanages, they're told that no one will love them and they will never be anything. These helpless children begin to believe these lies, and fear sets in their hearts. At the age of sixteen, they're forced out of the orphanage, subject to the false hopes of the human traffickers. We have discovered that caring for their needs and supporting them through the love of Jesus has opened doors for healing and deliverance. The power of the Holy Ghost has forever transformed their lives from this place of encounter. We have a village of homes in Moldova called Vatra Village and a former home in Odessa, Ukraine. Due to the war in Odessa, we have evacuated our home safely. Our kids have discovered by giving to the needs of others; they are breaking the orphan spirit within. They are sensitive to the presence of God and want others to see Him as they do. The war on Ukraine has not stopped their outreach; they have continued to host summer camps, teaching kids in various villages about the love of Jesus. They are also meeting the needs of the Ukrainian refugees with food, blankets, and a message of hope.  To learn more about supporting The Orphans Ministry by reaching those beyond your grasp, please visit www.theorphansministry.org.

Joining Daily Faith today from Texarkana, TX, is the Lead Pastor of Church on the Rock, Pastor John Miller. Pastor John Miller has been ministering in the church for over 30 years. His vision for the church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ by connecting people to God and fulfilling the great commission. The word that the Lord placed within Pastor John's heart is God's truth on the current crisis that we are living in: America, Abortion, and the Bible. America's foundation is based upon Biblical principles, where God is the Creator of all life, and the Bible is the living truth. The shaking in America has everything turned upside down. Instead of placing needs above our own, we've become more self-aware of what and how it makes us feel. Yet, that is not being a disciple unto God and sharing what He loves. When our actions align with our words, we won't have to convince others about Jesus; they will see Him in our lives daily. The church is to be at the center, the helm of all issues in life. It's time for our faith to rise in God's promises, discover His truths, and proclaim them by faith to a hopeless generation. That kind of faith will withstand the darkest days, bringing you to the other side of the storm.    If you're interested in learning more about Church on The Rock with Pastor John Miller, visit www.churchontherock.org.    The Orphans Hands ministry has helped save, provide and care for orphaned children from a life of despair in many Eastern Countries. When the stench of poverty sets in for these families, they are forced to send their kids to live in an orphanage. In the orphanages, they are told that no one will ever love them or care for them. When they age out of the system, they are given a bus ticket back to where they came. The street corner is often the last thing they see due to the false hopes of the human traffickers. The Orphans Hands is the intersection between hope and brokenness. We have a village of homes in Moldova called Vatra Village and a former home in Odessa, Ukraine. Our kids share in Bible studies, prayer, and various outreaches to help those whose needs they once knew. The war in Ukraine has caused us to evacuate our home in Odessa safely, yet many families are left in despair. We see our kids' unit as the church, responding to this crisis through faith and love. They are distributing food, blankets, and Bibles through our convoys of hope, as the word of God says. By your faithful giving, we have been able to send relief to the churches of Ukraine. On Daily Faith, Mike Coleman is here to share another revelation on the word of God. Mike Coleman is a former Pastor, Biblical Archeologist, and Radio Host. His passion is discovering and revealing the backstories behind the Scriptures to understand better how it applies in the world. Today, Mike Coleman uncovered a deeper look at Mark 9:23-24 and connected the missing links between belief and unbelief. What we believe is not always what we see. Our belief is stored in our hearts. When we know God's word, we hide it within our hearts to use in times of trouble. We also have head knowledge about things stored in our minds, yet it can contradict what the heart says. Your mind is where the biggest battles of your faith begin. The word of God is not performance-based; it's promised-based. Trusting in God requires heart faith, yet deep down, you know God will do what He said because of His promises. We want to encourage you that no matter what storm of life you face, take time to search the word of God and find your promise to stand on; as you do, the storm will blow itself out, and you will become stronger in your faith! We can think the worst or know the best; what will you choose today?   To learn more about Real Life Real Talk radio with Mike Coleman, visit www.realliferealtalk.com. To the lack of support, poverty, and abuse, many families in Moldova send their loved ones to grow up in an orphanage. In the orphanages, they are shown the love of a caged animal. On Daily Faith, the Founding Pastor of Revolution Church, Josh Cardwell, is joining us today from Crossville, TN. His story may sound familiar to most, he grew up going to church in the inner city, saved at age 6, but as he grew up, he wandered away. Later, he met his wife at eighteen and restored his life to the Lord after seeing her love and devotion to Jesus. Soon after, the Lord called him to minister; once a big city man, now a small town preacher. Pastor Josh started Revolution Church almost ten years ago in obedience to the call of God for his life. His legacy of obedience and transparency with his church has changed how they see their community, sharing the love of Jesus and passionately going after the unchurched people in their community. Like any new church, they faced issues of comparison and struggled with man's scoreboards on how to build a church. But, through an inward change of heart, and outward expression of love, Revolution Church is growing amid challenging times. Pastor Josh has learned that it's not about how effective you respond to God but how obedient you are to His voice the first time. Stop keeping track of your scoreboard and look at God's scoreboard. Leaving a legacy of obedience for others to follow is the greatest honor.   To learn more about Revolution Church with Pastor Josh Cardwell in Crossville, TN, visit www.crossvillerevolution.com.   In Moldova, many families live in poverty, endure pain, and suffer from depression and disease. Alcohol abuse breaks up the home, and another day's torment leaves them hopeless. These families send their babies to live in an orphanage, where they are shown anything except love. Once they turn sixteen, they graduate from the orphanage, forcing them onto the streets. They're subject to the real risks of human trafficking, never to be seen again. For those who don't know, we have a village of homes in Moldova called Vatra Village and a former home in Odessa, Ukraine. Our homes provide and care for these once lifeless and discouraged kids. The Orphans Hands is leaving a legacy of obedience for our kids to walk in. Their transparency of heart radiates the love of Jesus as they care for those needs they once knew. Our kids understand extreme heartache and pain, yet they also have found comfort in the arms of Jesus. Our convoys supply food, Bibles, and blankets, and our kids have made it their mission through our convoys to help, love, and support the Ukrainian refugees. In these unprecedented times, we must remain close to the Lord, maintaining a heart of worship and praise unto God. This posture of praise will set the tone for your life. You may be in the middle of a battle and struggling to keep your mind on the Lord, but as you focus on Jesus, you can praise your way through this storm. The living word of God encourages us to put on a garment of praise, which will break the yoke of bondage. Did you know that your attitude determines your altitude in your faith walk? Your attitude is the proof of your praise. It brings God into His rightful place within your heart and life. When you begin to praise the Lord, the Throne room of heaven comes down into your living room; that's anywhere you are. Praise is the overflow of love for Jesus. Praise acknowledges God for who He is, the great I AM! When we praise and exalt the Lord, the enemy has to flee. So, will you praise, or will you wallow in defeat today? Recently, with the racial division, social injustice, and lack of compassion plaguing America and our world, Pastor Derwin has been blessed to see beyond the social rifts of our society with eyes of understanding. By exposing the sinful nature of the world and sharing how the love of Jesus can bring social reconciliation, he has written a new book entitled, How To Heal Our Racial Divide. The world is crying out for attention and love; people want to be accepted and not criticized. Jesus came to expose sin, call our hearts to repentance, and be transformed by the living word of God.   This is not for self-gain, it's intended to share one another's burdens, and in doing so, we unite as one body for the Kingdom of God. When our vertical relationship with Jesus is intact, this enables our horizontal fellowship with others. Today, on Daily Faith, Pastor Scott Ethridge joins us to share about the love of Jesus. He is the Lead Pastor of The Healing Place in Shreveport, LA. We all know and preach about the love of Jesus, but have we experienced His love? We are living in uncertainty around the world where lawlessness is accepted, good is evil, and evil is good, and fear, depression, and anxiety run rampant. All of these symptoms stem from the lack of love in the world, yet more importantly, in the church. Jesus freely gave His life for us, pardoning our sins so we could have eternal life with Him. We were created to love and be loved by Jesus, and instead of loving first, we judge, losing the ability to see as Jesus sees. When our eyes are focused on Jesus, the fragrance of His love surrounds us. This sweet-smelling aroma encompasses every part of our beings, transforming us from the inside out. It doesn't matter what people think; it matters what Jesus thinks. To see America return to God, we must cultivate intimacy in our relationships and be intentional in our pursuit of God to see the world change; we must carry His heart of love, grace, and compassion toward all people. It's time to return to our first love and have a heart that overflows with His Spirit of love. To love Jesus, you need to love what He loves. Zach is a watchman on the wall, reading between the lines to help you prepare for what's to come. We are living in uncertain times around the world. The stakes are high as we fight for the soul of our country. Today, Zach dives right into the facts on America's current state of events, the planned destruction of America. One World Order is the game, and they're playing for keeps. The select few in our nation's government want to systematically ruin what our founding fathers have fought so hard for, our nation's sovereignty. Yet, this raging war is not of flesh and blood but a spiritual battle against the rulers of darkness. As Christians and Americans, we can't hand over the keys to our liberty; this is a call to action, to stand in righteousness, on the word of God. “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds.” 2 Corinthians 10:4 NKJV. Today, Pastor Larry shares his heart on the church's need for more of the Holy Ghost in our daily lives. The word of God says in Acts 2 that when the day of Pentecost had fully come, they were with one accord in one place. They heard the sounds of the rushing wind as it filled the room. The people were filled with tongues of fire from the Holy Ghost, which enabled them to praise the Lord in other languages.  This same power of the Holy Ghost is available today. We're living in dangerous times around the world, and to survive what's to come next, our faith must be firmly rooted in Jesus Christ and the Spirit's power filling our hearts. Greater is He, Jesus, who lives inside us than the evil that dwells in the world. We're living in difficult times, and there are all sorts of evils around us. On Daily Faith, our friend and prophetic Pastor, Buddy Meloy, brings deeper revelations into the scriptures. Pastor Buddy is the Lead Pastor of New Life Christian Fellowship in Lake City, FL. Pastor Buddy shares how the Lord revealed the keys to obtaining more of God's presence. In Psalms 107:5-6, “Hungry and thirsty, Their soul fainted in them. Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, And He delivered them out of their distress.” When we face uncertainty and distress, it's easy to feel as if we are going to faint under pressure. We must have the presence of God and the anointing to endure these trials of life. David, a man after God's own heart, realized the power of God's anointing and calling on his life and knew that if God's presence was not with him in battle, he would not win. Although he was not a perfect man, David grew his relationship with God because he cried out and hungered for more. It's time for the church to deepen the wells of desire and cry out for more of God's Spirit. It's the anointing that sets believers apart from the world. Today, we want to encourage your spirit to stand firm on the living word of faith, trusting that Your heavenly Father is Omnipresent. When these kids turn sixteen, they are kicked out of the orphanage with the clothes on their backs. They are at the terrible risk of human traffickers with nowhere to turn. Vatra Village is our village of homes in Moldova, and we have a house in Odessa, Ukraine, where we take in these unwanted children, showing them the love of Jesus. They are learning to use their God-given voice to help encourage those hearts they once knew. We are proud to announce that twelve of our kids have graduated, and we have a doctor in the house! She courageously helps others and shares God's truth wherever she goes; she is a shining light in the darkness. The war in Ukraine has caused us to evacuate our home in Odessa safely. On Daily Faith, Pastor Derek Draughon has a word of faith and encouragement for your soul. Pastor Derek is the Senior Pastor of Saraland First Church in Saraland, AL. He also hosts a podcast called Fuel Cast, a show designed to help men discover the truth in the word of God. The enemy uses various trials of life as distractions to keep us from seeking the Lord and pursuing a relationship with God. If Satan can distract and keep our minds bound by fear and anxiety, he has won. It's easy to react negatively to stress, but the Lord has a greater calling for you. Don't allow the enemy's schemes to triumph over your life. Begin to change the way you view the circumstance by repositioning yourself before the Lord. Daniel brought his petition before God and waited. Daniel was determined to remain quiet. He repositioned his prayers and set his mind to understand. He came into alignment with the word of God. At the end of his waiting, Daniel received his answer. We know that seasons of waiting can be challenging, long, and drawn out, but when we wait upon the Lord, we discover a new level of trust, hope, and perseverance within our hearts. On Daily Faith, Pastor Jerry Grillo is an author, motivational speaker, and lead Pastor of Church One80 in Hickory, NC. Today, Pastor Jerry shares a revelation into the realm of faith about how your confidence and trust in Him, God's overcomer spirit living inside you, is greater than any obstacle you may face. Your faith moves God's heart. David was a man after God's heart, a man of faith. When Goliath came to town, David was not afraid to slay him because he knew his God. God gave David a measure of faith, just like you and me, but it was up to David to activate it. We all endure various trials, fears, and frustrations daily and are easily worn out, becoming overwhelmed by these attacks that leave us stuck in our emotions and feeling like we will never catch a break. These attacks are part of the enemy's attempt to keep you bound in your situation, overwhelmed and confused about the next step. If Satan can't destroy or defeat you, he will try to tear you down in your mind. Stop telling God how big your problems are, and start telling your problem how big your God is! As you begin to see through the eyes of faith, you'll see the plan of God unfold in your life. We declare that you're about to overcome what's been overwhelming you in Jesus' name!  To learn more about Church One80 with Pastor Jerry Grillo, please visit www.churchone80.com.       On Daily Faith, we want to introduce the Lead Pastor of Church on the Rock from Texarkana, TX, John Miller. Pastor John Miller has been ministering in the church for over 30 years. His vision for the church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ by connecting people to God and fulfilling the great commission. We are living in extraordinary times in the world. A great shaking is taking place. Hebrew 12:27 NKJV tells us, “Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.” Amid this shaking, the Kingdom of God cannot be shaken. God has allowed these events: covid, inflation, wars, election, and uncertainty, to shake and affect the entire world to expose the root cause of America's troubles and call America to return to God in hopes of a spiritual awakening. Pastor John Miller expresses the importance of having our spiritual foundation built on the word of God. This requires repentance from sin, turning to God, and increasing our faith in Him. No matter what difficulties you may be facing, Jesus Christ is the source of revealed truth for the world, the hope we have amid this insanity. Pastor Rich Butler is the Lead Pastor of a spirit-filled, multi-campus church, Hope Church in Spartanburg, SC. He has recently launched a new location in Greenville, SC, in the state's oldest Assemblies of God church. Pastor Rich feels that in the extraordinary times that we are living, God is stirring up the hearts of those hungry for more of God. He believes this is a prophetic sign to call the people to return to Lord and secure their spiritual foundation in Him. In Exodus 16:33 of the Bible, Moses told the Lord before entering the Promised Land that they would not prosper in the land if God didn't go with them. This truth remains vitally true for all believers in the church today; our man-made carts are not equipped to carry His presence; we must be baptized with His Spirit, enabling us to carry His word throughout the Earth. If you are experiencing a season of spiritual drought, ask the Lord for a fresh baptism, an infilling of the Holy Spirit in your heart today! It's the Presence of God that sets us apart from the world. It's only the presence of God that can bring about the most significant change in your life for His kingdom's purpose. Recently, the Lord has shown Pastor Sawyer His grace and perfect power for imperfect people. When we endure times of trials and tribulations, fears set in, and the ground begins to shake, that is when God is working the most in our lives to bring about His greater purpose. It's about acknowledging our weakness before the Lord and the power of the Holy Spirit being made perfect through us. When we don't know what to do or say, we are to look unto Jesus; He is our ever-present help in time of need. The daily struggles are not meant for us to fight alone. God is waiting for us to take a step and, at times, a leap of faith and trust in His promises to do what He says. In our weakness, His power is shown and made known to everyone around us. The God of the mountain tops is the same God of the valleys. If He has seen you, though, bringing you to the other side, what makes you think He won't do it again? Jesus loves you with an everlasting love that will never fade. God desires to empower you with the Holy Spirit, and it is then when you experience the Holy Spirit true transformation begins. When these kids “graduate” from the orphanage at sixteen, they are kicked out and forced back into devastation, leaving them desperate for a better life. We have a Village of Homes in Moldova called Vatra Village, where we care for and teach them about Jesus, and they discover who He created them to be. Sons and daughters of the Kingdom.   During this war, the Russians have taken over our home in Odessa, Ukraine, yet our kids who lived there are safe at Vatra Village. They have endured many of life's storms, but God has prepositioned them to be a blessing in the season they are in. They are missionaries for Jesus. Currently, our kids are tirelessly traveling to the border of Ukraine, giving and sharing food, warm blankets, and praying with the refugees in hopes of bringing about God's peace in this storm. On Daily Faith, we welcome our new guest, Pastor Wayne Braudrick. He is the Senior Pastor of Frisco Bible Church in Frisco, TX. Pastor Wayne has authored a few books, and the one he is sharing with us today is entitled The Power of A Merry Heart: A Interactive Workbook on Gratitude. Today, Pastor Wayne gives us nuggets of truth about having a thankful heart in difficult situations. In the world we live it's easy to get sidetracked by stress and fear that blinds us from the truth, yet the word of God encourages us in John 16:33, “In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” It's very easy to see this world and the daily struggles with fog-covered glasses. Still, God is inviting you to experience the fullness of joy by discovering the power of gratitude. This goes to say that Jesus has already faced the situations that we are experiencing, and He has graced us with His overcomer spirit that enables us to move forward with joy. When we approach the day knowing that issues may arise, the Holy Spirit's power living inside our hearts is greater than we face. We want to encourage you to stop and think about the ways God has provided for you. Share your heart with heaven, and God will open the doors for you! Due to the lack of social support, and alcohol abuse, these kids face hardships that no one should endure. For those who don't know, The Orphans Hands ministry has helped save countless children from a life of fear and desperation. When these kids “graduate” from the orphanage, they are sent back to the villages they came from, leaving them hopeless and desperate for a better life. This peril leaves them subject to the real risks of human trafficking. We have a Village of Homes in Moldova called Vatra Village, where we teach these kids about Jesus, and they discover who He created them to be. Jesus has become the hope they have longed for, and they are now sons and daughters, missionaries for Jesus sharing the same love they have received. Our kids have realized how the power of thankfulness can open the doors of blessings from heaven. Currently, our kids are traveling to the border of Ukraine, where the devastation of war has become real. Yet, by helping to meet the needs of the refugees, their hearts are overflowing with gratitude. Pastor Ben Dailey has a powerful word of God's grace to share. Pastor Ben is the Lead Pastor at Calvary Church in Irving, TX. He has recently released a new book entitled, Captured By Grace - Be Freed From Fear So You Can Really Live. He is here to share the difference between the “but” and the “Holy but.” We understand this sounds like an odd topic, yet we speak this way as believers. How often have you caught yourself declaring the word by faith, and then you interject a “but” into the same sentence? You have now canceled out what you're believing for, allowing your emotions to dictate what the Word of God says about the issue.  We say, “I am healed, but I still feel the pain.” As believers, we must understand the power and authority we carry to say, “I am in pain, but by His stripes, I am healed.” You are now standing on the truth by faith. The enemy, Satan, would like nothing better than to keep you wrapped up in fear and doubt. Yet, God is waiting for you to stand up and declare His word. The things of this world are seen, temporary. But the things of the unseen are eternal! This means that it is time we shift our focus off of our problems and on to the Author and Finisher of our faith, Jesus Christ! The storms of life will come, But God is greater than any storm, so rejoice! We're holding on to past dreams, visions, and disappointments, and God is encouraging us to release them to Him, yet, as long as the devil is allowed to constrain us, we won't advance into the territory God has destined for us to prosper in. God desires to bring in new things for our lives, friendships, health, marriages, and finances. To receive something new, we have to be willing to let go of the old amid the pain. We can't sit around waiting for something new to come. We must choose to allow the Lord to work, remaining faithful and consistent in the season we're in! It's time to push forward in faith with the Lord making room in our hearts for something new. Be blessed and encouraged; God is about to bring a new season of hope, health, and healing into your life! We have been rescuing unwanted and abandoned children from a life of turmoil and the risks of human trafficking. Moldova is one of the most impoverished countries globally, where many homes are split up, forcing the children to grow up in an orphanage, never knowing the love of a family. Once they turn sixteen, they are forced out with no place to call home. We have a village of homes in Moldova called Vatra Village and a house in Ukraine where we care for and provide for everything they need upon coming into our homes. Their lives have been transformed by the grace of God, which has kept them safe. Letting go of fear, they're making room for the new blessings God has instore for their lives. The more they learn about Jesus, the more God's power works through them to minister to those in need. When you remain faithful in the season you're in, God's blessings will flow! Thank you for your kind support. Our kids are walking testimonies for God's Kingdom. For more information on how you can help The Orphans Hands ministry, contact us at www.theorphanshands.org.

    Practicing Principles

On Daily Faith, we have an encouraging word to share with you from the heart of God! No matter what situation you may be facing, know that God is bigger, and He is fighting this battle for you. Your name is written on the palm of God's hand, and He is making a way where there seems to be no way! Today, our guest is Pastor Gary Brothers, and he shares insightful principles on practicing what we preach in the word of God. Pastor Gary Brothers is the Senior Pastor of Cape First Church in Cape Girardeau, Mo. It's easy to go around speaking the word of God to others, but if we do not implement what we say, it becomes void. Our actions and reactions to situations end up speaking louder than our words. Pastor Gary would like to help you understand these principles and the ease of applying them in your daily faith walk. The key in using these steps involve some self-reflection, forgiving yourself, and getting your heart right with the Lord. Since our lives on Earth are but a vapor, it's time that we take every opportunity by stepping out in faith, forgiveness with humility, asking the Lord to guard minds as we pursue peace practicing what we preach. As you go about your day, remember that our attitude determines our altitude in the Kingdom of God.  For more information about Cape First Church with Pastor Brothers, please visit www.capefirst.org, and to learn more about his teachings from today, please see www.garybrothersmnistry.com. Moldova is one of the poorest countries in Eastern Europe and has one of the highest death rates due to alcohol abuse. This terrible combination creates orphans where many of the children are sent away to live in an orphanage due to their parents' lack of love and support. When they graduate from the orphanage by turning sixteen, they are forced on the streets without a place to call home, leaving them subject to the real risks of human trafficking. The Orphans Hands ministry has helped save and rescue these unwanted children from a life of poverty and abuse. We have a village of homes called Vatra Village and a house in Ukraine where we take in and care for these children—reminding them of God's plan for their lives. Our kids are growing in forgiveness, faith, and humility as they discover their identity in Jesus. No longer are they orphans, but sons and daughters unto Christ. They understand the power of practicing what they preach by helping to meet the needs of others.
