A man who rushed the stage during a comedian's performance at Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles attacked Dave Chappelle. The church and its ministers are called to be the moral compass of our communities. It's hard for us to hear from ministers about manhood when they at times have had challenges in it, but refuse to give grace to others who proclaim and teach it differently. Such is the case of Pastor Bryant taking shots at Kevin Samuels. Who among us has clean hands and lips to touch the world when we've acted like them in our carnal flesh? The church needs to pull its pants up before we touch the world and talk about manhood. If you ain't delivered be discreet. If not a 304 will blow up your spot and church. We end this episode with a song by Run DMC U Talk Too Much.
Pastor Bryant delivers a powerful message about pain. He informs us that you can't work for God and not expect to be hurt. God puts us in uncomfortable situations because the risk is synonymous with faith, and if it is safe, it is not from God. The pain we endure enrages and prepares your imagination to push you forward in life.
On Daily faith, we have a powerful couple of faith, Pastors Bryant and Nicole Golden, joining us to share their incredible story of God's love and grace during their toughest battle and how they found hope and healing through vulnerability and transparency. Pastor Bryant is the Lead Pastor at Centerpoint Church in Valrico, Fl. Pastor Nicole is a Teaching Pastor at Centerpoint Church. Together, they have a bold passion for ministering the word of God, encouraging others to see Jesus by welcoming all who will enter, allowing the name and love of Jesus to speak for itself. Today, they're speaking out on how mental illness affected their lives in such a drastic way they never saw coming—yet, giving praise and glory to God for His loving mercy. Now a Mental Health Advocate, Pastor Nicole takes you through her side of the story and the daily struggles with mental illness. The Lord graciously walked with her every step of the way, revealing sections of her heart and soul that needed healing. After seeking help and guidance through Godly friends, ministers, and health professionals, she shared her testimony in 2018 for the first time. Pastor Nicole learned many people are experiencing the same trials. She ultimately discovered she was not alone at all. Jesus reminded her that He was there the entire time. Sharing a journey they never dreamed of, they saw the love of Jesus and would not change it for the world. Pastors Bryant and Nicole have learned that God's plan may not be to heal them entirely until they reach heaven, but they can live a healthy lifestyle, sharing their story with hopes they will impact the lives of others for the Kingdom of God. We're reaching a lost, broken, and hurting generation for the love of Jesus. Upon leaving the orphanages, so many children feel stuck and alone in their circumstances, suffering from mental illness and abandonment, that they turn to the false hope of the human traffickers. We have a village of homes in Moldova called Vatra Village and a house in Ukraine where we take in these children. By God's grace, together, we are helping to restore a sense of purpose, healing, and renewed hope to these once abandoned souls. Our kids have a bold desire to minister and reach those who have lost hope. Through the love of Jesus and their transparency, God is restoring their lives to freedom! Gizelle Bryant steps Behind The Rope. The Real Housewives of Potomac Season 5 alive and well. We discuss it all!!!! Gizelle fills us in on how the season is going for her, her daughters and Pastor Bryant. Gizelle wastes no time in also discussing how she thinks her co-stars are handling this season as well - Robyn Dixon and her potential upcoming nuptials to Juan, Ashley’s motherhood, Wendy, welcome to the DMV. Michael Darby and his role as an honorary housewife. We also discuss her on again, off again friendship with The Grand Dame, Miss Karen Huger, and the status of that friendship today. Speaking of Karen Huger, we analyze the softer side we get to see this season via her marriage with Ray and discuss just why does Karen not like newbie Wendy. No discussion of Karen would be complete without a deep dive into the origin of The Grand Dame moniker, and the answer is not what you would expect, but hey, a shout out from Rihanna ain’t too bad. Of course we chat about the Candiace Monique Drama at the epicenter of this season, how the cast reacted to the physical altercation and how it has led to larger life discussions such as the portrayal of African American women on television. We also talk about why after 5 seasons Potomac is finally getting the respect it deserves. In other Bravo news, Gizelle chats about Dorinda's RHONY exit and what it was like to meet fellow Bravolebries such as Lala, Reza, Gigi and Brandi Redmond at BravoCon. Finally, seeing as David was at that infamous party in The Hamptons where Ramona asked Gizelle to leave the picture, they needed to bond over that and ask the age old question, will Gizelle ever squash her beef with Ramona? Jesus spent much of His life challenging the views of the religious leaders at the time. While they were devoted to a system that made them right with God while ignoring the people that God loved, Jesus came and turned all of that upside down. As we kick off a season of generosity in our church, Pastor Bryant leads us through an examination of what made Jesus mad--and what He valued most in His life here on earth.
