Word of warning: this one gets a little conspiratorial. One of the best things that ever happened to my business was figuring out how to create automatic customers. Instead of going out and making new sales each month, we focused on a subscription model that brought in guaranteed payments every 30 days. We did this back in 2015, and since then, the continuity approach to business has become even more popular. I mean, who wouldn't want customers that come back and pay, month after month? But, could this model have a downside for society? What does it have to do with the World Economic Forum? How will it play into their rumored "Great Reset"? One of the most powerful (and potentially dangerous) marketing methods known to man. That's what you'll discover if you listen to the latest episode of the DAM podcast. Warning: There's a good chance I'll say something that deeply offends you. Don't come crying to me that your precious feels were hurt if you decide to give it a listen. Hitler's quote about needing the Jews, to justify his actions. Book: true believers. Plug Just Some Guy's youtube channel. Magnet has two polarities, attract and repulse. Today we're gonna talk about attracting by repulsion. Pick an enemy you can blame for everything wrong in the world. Hyperfocus on their evil. This alleviates guilt and responsibility in your tribe. Make your tribe feel good about themselves, and signal you share their virtues. This makes you more trustable, and them more suggestible. Draw lines in the sand, plant flags on hills, give people something to rally behind. Passion evokes action. Promised them away to get what they want while sticking it to their enemies. Own the Libs, white tears, etc. Look at that fringe lunatic from the other side. That's how they all are. They are going to ruin everything for the rest of us. Vote for me and I'll make sure they get what they deserve. Look at the radical leftist. They're burning down your city's. Vote for Trump. Look at the reckless asshole without a mask. He's probably a white supremacist. Vote for Biden. Don't be afraid to be polarizing. Go narrow and deep. The more you repel the wrong people, the stronger your attraction to the right people. This has destroyed main stream media, for anyone dumb enough to think the media is still there to provide the news. But once you see that the media is there to sell products for their advertisers, it makes perfect sense. Whip people up into a state of emotions, make them see you as a trusted guide, give them something to buy. Corn, wheat, sugar companies and some cities, for the diet niche. Trendy diets for the health and fitness niche. Fiat money and socialist policies for the gold and finance niche. Systemic racism for the basketball shoe niche. Nike and Colin Kaepernick. This is where virtue signal marketing comes from, but be careful which villain and values you choose to align with. Get woke go broke doesn't disprove the theory. It's just poor execution of a solid form of marketing. If you're selling Che Guevara shirts, or books about white fragility Robin Deangelo, get woke is a great way to get rich. Writing a great piece of sales copy isn't about having a killer template. It's not about selling the benefits, over the features. It's not about having a great headline, a bold guarantee, or a bunch of bonuses. Any copywriter who tells you different, doesn't know what they're doing. Writing great sales copy is about one thing, and one thing only; molding belief systems. It's about: 1.) Knowing what your reader already believes, and which of their beliefs are preventing them from buying 2.) Knowing what they need to believe, in order to see buying as the only thing that makes sense, and 3.) Knowing how to take them from the former belief system, to the latter. Everything else is just tactics. Bells and whistles. Distractions. A great copywriter: • Builds a world for their reader to live in • Gives them an enemy to fight against • Gives them hope for the future • And gives them purpose. Your offer is simply about helping them fulfill their destiny. Great copy isn't about convincing someone to buy. It's about helping them realize that “buying” is part of who they really are. It's when you believe you're fighting evil that you're most capable of committing it. People make their decision based on what they believe. If you influence what they believe, you have a lot of control over how they act. What does your target market believe? And how are those beliefs preventing them from taking action? Believe about themselves. Believe about the world. Believe about you and your solution. Bitcoin is complicated. I got in too late. The IRS will come after me. I can't spend it once I have it. What do you need them to believe if they're gonna be primed to take the action you want them to take? Believe about themselves. Believe about the world. Believe about you and your solution. Buy it at coinstar. It's only at the beginning of its upward trend. Here's how easy it is to report (or hide). Here's how easy it is to convert and spend / here's all the sites that accept it. Marketing is all about building a world for them to live in, where they believe all the things you need them to believe, in order to act in the way you want them to act. Black Propaganda Matters

What is "Black Propaganda", and how can you use it in your marketing? Catherine Genovese's story, borough of Queens in New York City, March 1964. Attacked and tortured for 35 minutes straight, before finally being killed. Out in public. 38 people watched. None raised a finger to help her. When asked why, they said it was because nobody else did. They thought that if something was really wrong, someone would have done something. They looked to the crowd for a clue on what to do. Masked Umbrella Man and the Autozone windows. The case of the mysterious pallets of bricks. Could be cops. Could be antifa. Nobody knows. Both have motive. Lead the parade theory. The Psychology Behind Mob Mentality When you act as an individual, you bare soul responsibility for your actions. When you act as a group, you share responsibility, and the blame doesn't fall squarely on your shoulders. Therefore, when you think of yourself as an individual, you're more likely to consider the consequences of your actions. And when you think of yourself as part of a group, you abdicate responsibility for your decision making to the group. People who see themselves as an individual tend to give more thought to an action before taking it. People who see themselves as part of a group tend to just go along with whatever the group is doing. Individuals have to be persuaded, one by one, with logical or emotionally convincing arguments. Groups just need a charismatic leader to get behind and blindly follow. The number one rule for making people easier to manipulate? Get them to identify as part of a group, rather than as an individual. When someone keeps beating you over the head with your group identity, that's a pretty good indication they're trying to manipulate you. What is "Black Propaganda"? Titania McGrath, Andrew Doyle, Satire becoming reality. People look to what the crowd is doing if they're uncertain of what they should do. People like us, like us. People who want to be like us, like us. Your testimonials should take this into account. They should come from people your market can identify with or aspire to be like. Customer reviews and social media reviews. Influencer marketing is another option. In today's environment, both are better than celebrity endorsements. If you can control the direction of the mob, either by leading it, or by framing it, you can control the direction of people who defer to the mob. What is it? Most recent, blackout social media profile pic. Gay pride flag over the corporate logo. During these trying times commercials and emails. At its core, it's a way to appear socially aware for marketing purposes. Why do they do it? Demographics with disposable income. The myth of the wage gap. Gay couples, dual incomes, no kids. Young kids with no responsibilities yet. Media influx of activists, clickbait, ragebait, etc. Cronyism. College kids with a social justice mindset and a marketing degree. Fear of cancel culture. Biggest failures in recent memory: Gillette's toxic masculinity ad Pepsi Kendall Jenner protest ad The entire comic book industry (New New Warriors) Why it keeps failing. Doesn't appeals to the mass market. Comes off as pandering and insulting The target market is broke losers who don't support you anyway. The rare occasions where it works: Ben and Jerry's get arrested at a protest. Nike and Colin Kaepernick, the black community target market. When the real target market is middle-class white liberals who have money to spend and want to look like they're "down". Why Apple Stands in solidarity with the people looting their store. Making clothes easier to steal so the cool kids would be seen in them at school. Take-away. It works in a booming economy and entitled people can cry about first world problems. When the money stops flowing, It's gonna blow up in your face if you're not careful. My advice, avoid it unless your product is political, and the market has money to blow. Scott Adams, two films theory The media's the most powerful entity on earth. They have the power to make the innocent guilty and to make the guilty innocent, and that's power. Because they control the minds of the masses. - Malcolm X Two goals of the media, monetize the audience, influence the audience. How do they do it? Emotions, especially fear, anger, and greed. Fear makes people look for an authority to tell them what to do. Over 70% of ad money comes from big pharma. Ask your doctor if these pills are right for you. Anger makes people want to unite against a common enemy. Look at them. They're so dumb. They're gonna ruin everything. Greed makes people not weigh the consequences appropriately. Redistribution of wealth, the evil one percent. Financial and investment advice, on the other end. Start with the overlap of your maps, in order to get them to where they want to go. Show them you're on their side. Tell them they're right. Give them someone else to blame. Last thing, if you create the content, you'll be seen as the authority. Only difference between the "end is near" homeless man and the MSM is that MSM is a content creator. Get their attention with your content. Get them in a highly emotional state. Make them feel like you're on their side. Give them an enemy to blame. Now that you have their trust, tell them what you want them to buy. That can be a service, a product, and even a worldview. When you watch the news, even your own favorite news commentators, watch how they do this. Learn from it. Understand how it works. Use it in your marketing.
