The I Spy with my Myo Eye... podcast is a treasure trove of information about airway and myofunctional therapy. This podcast, hosted by Brittny, provides listeners with valuable insights from leading professionals in the field. As someone who has been practicing orofacial myology for less than a year, I have found immense value in each episode of this podcast. The content is up-to-date and informative, and it has greatly enhanced my ability to treat my own patients. Brittny's podcast has become a go-to resource for me, and I am grateful for all the knowledge she shares through her interviews.
One of the best aspects of The I Spy with My Myo Eye... podcast is the high-quality guests that Brittny brings on to discuss various topics related to airway and orofacial myology. Through her conversations with these leaders in the field, she retrieves valuable information that leaves the listener with newfound knowledge and insight. It is truly impressive how she engages with her guests to bring forth interesting ideas and perspectives. Each episode is filled with practical tips, research findings, and innovative approaches that can be applied to one's own practice. The podcast serves as a platform for learning from experts who are shaping the field of airway and myofunctional therapy.
While there are numerous strengths to this podcast, one potential downside is that there are relatively few sources of information about airway and myofunctional therapy available elsewhere. Although it is commendable that Brittny's podcast fills this gap by providing valuable content, it would be beneficial to have more sources or platforms dedicated to discussing these topics. However, this limitation does not detract from the quality or value of The I Spy with My Myo Eye... podcast itself.
In conclusion, The I Spy with My Myo Eye... podcast hosted by Brittny is an excellent resource for anyone interested in airway and myofunctional therapy. With her skillful interviewing techniques and her ability to bring in leading professionals in the field, Brittny delivers a podcast that is informative, engaging, and thought-provoking. Why is it hard for most orthodontists to accept starting treatment as early as 3 or 4 years old? In today's episode we have the brilliant orthodontist, Dr. Brett Christensen to give us some insight on this matter.Dr. Brett Christensen has been treating Sleep Disorder Breathing since becoming an orthodontist in 1999. For children, being trained in bio-progressive orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics, he has been able to treat breathing disorders through growth and development. It is a matter of knowing what is causing the airway obstruction. Having the right tools is crucial in diagnosing and treatment planning for the patient. Dr. Christensen has invested in the most advanced CT scan (CBCT) machine in the industry and the Eccovision Pharyngometer and Rhinometer use sonar (sound waves) to map the area of the nasal airway and throat (oropharynx) to pinpoint the area of constriction or obstruction of the airway. These tools help determine with more accuracy the effects of maxillary expansion on the nasal airway and oral volume.Website:https://www.christensenbraces.com/
