She then added Bambara to honor the West African ethnic group, Bambara.  Her anthology, “Black Woman”, was the first feminist collection to focus on Black women. It included works from her friends Nikki Giovanni, Audre Lorde and Alice Walker.  After the success of her two fiction books, Gorilla My Love and The Salt Eaters, she became a filmmaker, covering topics like the Philadelphia MOVE Bombing and the disappearance of over 40 children in Atlanta.  She believed strongly in clairvoyance, dream analysis, telepathy, and ancestral healing, and wrote about those themes in most of her work.  She died at 56 from colon cancer. What do I mean? Well lets look at    Rev. 12:9-11 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down.   Satan is the accuser, Jesus is the access and we are the acceptors. What do we have access to? Salvation - a one time event Sanctification - A process while on earth Glorification - A proven forever fact, total change in your whole life- body soul and spirit.    The problem is many people get accused and there are people who believe the accusations. So what do we do? It's not your problem. Your only concern is to continue to walk the path of sanctification. What other people think of you does not block your access to what Christ has done for you. (I REPEAT!!)  Garth is a pervert, Garth is an arsonist, Garth is a phony, Garth is a thief, Garth is liar, Garth is an arrogant SOB,  Garth is uncaring, Garth only cares about himself, Garth preaches other peoples sermons… those are just a few of the accusations… what if some of these are true? Guess what some of these are true… in context. but does that mean I do not have access to forgiveness, sanctification, to the throne of God? NOPE!  Yes intimacy plays a role in all of this, but lets be clear- we are sinners and we are in need of forgiveness, grace, mercy and his power at work in us.  The only thing that stops Gods work in us is not the accusation - but rather believing that the accusation stops Gods grace.  Satan is the accuser, Jesus is the access and we are the acceptors. If you choose not to accept it Christ finished work in you and you accept the the accusation you forfeit what Jesus did on the cross.
