Have you ever felt like you landed on a plateau of healing, took a deep breath and said, "thank god that is over with" only to find yourself catapulted into the next feeling of life chaos?Well, in this podcast I chat about the phenomenon of chaos, or, life foundation change, as a part of the transformation growth process.Of course, life chaos does not always mean growth process, it can simply mean chaotic habits, but it can also be a sign when life moves from stable to chaotic to stable to chaotic that there is growth happening, or, in other words, the natural process of change and evolution.I feel we are experiencing this both globally and individually, and, find it valuable, healing, harmonizing, and supportive to move out of isolation and into community as we move through this time both as a humanity and as individuals.Take a listen and, if you feel called to participate with me as a leader in this evolution, I would love to talk!  You can email me at lovebombthemovie@gmail.com to see if becoming a My Love Bomb Facilitator in 2017 might be your next Love Bomb.

Wow.  This is one of those podcast conversations where I want to say:  just listen.  Listen. For those who need more cajoling,.....I'll share about it!  Linda Inlay is an educator who spent a career bringing a technique of culture building called "Awakening Wisdom" to schools.  She shares an incredible experience about building a culture based on responsibility, respect, resourcefulness, and responsiveness in schools.I am inspired by the hope that she embodies for bringing change to our public schools and helping students and teachers and parents to gestate in environments that are designed to create natural and relaxed growth and development that starts with an assumption of acceptance. As a builder of new culture with the My Love Bomb Program and a witness to seeing what happens when you intentionally create an environment of unconditional loving acceptance, I am very excited to think that her work could permeate the public domain. If you are someone who works with teams in education, in business, or in your service work, this content can inspire you towards the system of culture that you build within yourself and those you are working with.Together we make the worldview change from fear to love.  Inside of ourselves, and within our communities.  More on the amazing Linda:  Linda began her career as an educator at Our Lady of Sorrows School in Wahiawa, Hawaii, where she worked for fifteen years. There she collaborated with the founders of the Ho`?la Educational Philosophy, a combination of Adlerian principles and Carl Roger’s self-actualization theory. Ho`?la in Hawaiian means, “awakening of the self.” Today this way of organizing a school is called “Awakening wisdom.” This program emphasized the core values of responsibility, respect, resourcefulness, and responsiveness to be modeled by the adults in order to foster these same values in the students. In 1988 Linda left Hawaii for California, entering the public school system and serving for eighteen years as the principal of River School in Napa County, where she introduced Awakening Wisdom. She taught parenting classes to bring home and school culture together, and during her tenure, River School received two California Distinguished School Awards, the Promising Practices Award and National School of Character Award from the Character Education Partnership, and the California School Board Association’s Golden Bell Award. In 2012 River School also became a New Tech Network School where project-based learning is infused with technology as an engaging and effective methodology for teaching and learning. Linda has presented at numerous conferences: National Middle School Association, Character Education Partnership, California Middle School Association, National Charter Schools, California Charter Schools Association, North Coast Educational Summit. She has authored four articles published in ASCD’s Educational Leadership. Her thesis, Ho`?la School The Transformation of Character Through the Implicit Curriculum, continues to be used a training guide for teachers at schools. Her first journal article, “Creating a Culture of Respect Through the Implicit Curriculum”, was published in the January 2016 issue of Middle School Journal. You can find her here:www.LindaInlay.comTo get involved in "Village Napa" to help support teen mental and emotional health:https://www.facebook.com/villagenapa/?fref=ts

Last week's podcast broad me to laughter, and this week's brought me to tears.  It's essentially like having a service trip experience right from my home as the depth and breadth of human experience through story sweeps through my heart.Tiffany Johnson shares about her journey from her career as a professional singer and performer to a volunteer and eventually full time employee of Soles4Souls.  Her story is rich in what happens when we're willing to listen to the innate calling of our soul, as well as the wisdom of what life itself is telling us through the circumstances that point us in a particular direction.Speaking to her was so poignant for and she shares a story of a woman's life that touched her deeply in Honduras.  She brought me to tears, both in the way that her relationship with the woman was able to ultimately help her, and the plight of so many women around the world who suffer for opportunities like we have so readily available to us in the United States with birth control options as well as the support needed in the case of unwanted pregnancies that are out of the control of the women themselves.  This conversation reminds me of the absolute heart wrenching at times complexity of the service that we do and what happens when we are willing to open our eyes to the depth of challenges of those around us.  It is also the power of being willing to do so, as, we might not have the solution, but we might know someone who does.  Truly, deeply, we never know how far reaching something we say or do for another person will ultimately change their lives. She also reminds me of simply how powerful it is to answer the calling to help right now, because one hand held out leads to seeing more, which leads to more questions, which leads to more answers and the ability to connect people to the solutions that can and do exist.Together we are the web, the tribe, that uplifts life.  It is painful at times to be willing to see, but it is also the only way to be fully alive.Thank you Tiffany, the relationship is just beginning. To connect with service opportunities through Souls4Soles:  To connect with Tiffany's beautiful music, one of her outlets of expression for processing the beautiful living complexity of her heart's work:  http://tiffanyjohnson.netMore about Tiffany: Tiffany works full time at Soles4Souls as Outreach and Travel Coordinator where she works daily with hundreds of global partners who distribute shoes for the international non-profit. This is a unique conversation for me with Randi into a discovery of how her gifts contribute to healing and intimacy for couples, and ultimately, to adding to the reconnection and healing for human beings on a larger scale towards letting go of shame, finding self acceptance, and letting sex be a healthy part of our lives.I am fascinated by the "Big Idea" of Love Bombers visions.  As Chiropractors this concept is very important to us.  We love looking at how the micro of what we do can impact the health of a culture.  Through this conversation with Randi I got to the awesome intersection of her natural calling to serve with the Big Idea of a more whole, more happy, more connection humanity. Are you curious about how finding your "blissed out sexuality" could contribute to world peace?  Give a listen.More about Randi:  Randi received her B.A. in Psychology and went on to get a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology and Marriage and Family Therapy at John F. Kennedy University in Berkeley, California.  She is a Certified Clinical Sexologist, Sex Expert and Certified Sex Coach.  Her belief is that if your sexual activities are not harming you or others and there is consent with other adults- it is all okay and there is no "normal."To connect with her: http://www.randilevinson.com

After working for 10 years in a high stress, corporate sales environment in New York City, Marjorie was depressed and de-energized, she couldn’t ignore her body any longer. It was time to shake things up, to transcend her funk. It was time to live life, not just trudge her way through it (in heels). In her quest for health and wellness, she found yoga and was surprised at how effectively the poses got her out of her head. She suddenly felt connected to her body and her breathing. As her yoga practice advanced, she realized that finding connection and ease in the body is the road to living a full and healthy life. The benefits of yoga were so profound for her that she wanted to share its healing effects with others. When her yoga studies led her to Ayurveda, she started folding India’s mind-body science into her personal practice, along with her classes, workshops and retreats. Now, as a health and wellness guide, Marjorie teaches how to live better in your body, incorporating yoga and its mind body science, Ayurveda, to help students sleep and eat better, and increase their energy. Marjorie offers online programs, yoga classes, workshops, and wellness programs and retreats, and co-founded Ready Set Recover in 2014 to help individuals going through surgery get back to better. Kelli Iverson Stuart is a mommapreneur business owner joining us on the Love Bombers podcast after just having completed the My Love Bomb Program in Napa and is among the inspiring women training to become facilitators for our September launch in the SF Bay Area.  In this interview she opens up about how she found her current love bomb gift of bringing fitness to busy women looking for more joy, fulfillment, and harmony through opening her Dailey Method barre studio.  She shares about the journey from spread thin, to finding her fitness and "filling her cup" through the Dailey Method.  She then takes on the next steps of the journey where she decided to overcome her own introverted and fearfull limitations to become an instructor and owner of a new studio in Napa.  The common "Love Bomber" experience of pursuing your dream of giving to others, only to find yourself spread thin and stressed out again in the business of service, is complimented with how she is now finding her wholeness in the journey, reflected in enjoying the moments of changed lives now, as well as her family's joyful moments.More on Kelli:Kelli Iverson Stuart found The Dailey Method in 2009, shortly after having her 2nd son and was hooked after just one class. She was working a corporate job, struggling to balance work and her family, and quickly losing touch with herself. “I was really nervous to attend my first class because I was really out of shape after a difficult pregnancy and putting myself last for many years. But in a matter of minutes, I felt 100% supported and more importantly, empowered. The class was incredibly challenging, but I knew I had found something my body, mind, and soul truly needed. On top of that, I felt an immediate connection with the teachers and students in class. The sense of community was strong and energizing. I knew right away that I wanted to share The Dailey Method with other women, particularly in my hometown of Napa. I knew I had found my calling - to help other women get stronger from the inside out, so that they can live fuller, more joyful, more satisfying lives.” Kelli began training directly under Jill Dailey and received her master certification in 2013. After a long hunt for the perfect location, she opened The Dailey Method Napa in downtown Napa in May 2014. The studio is owned and operated in partnership with The Dailey Method. To Connect with Kelli:  http://www.thedaileymethod.com/studios/napa/overview/

In this episode of Love Bombers I speak with my own business coach Shawn Dill about the business of service.  As a Love Bomber myself I reached a point in my life where I had to choose that in order to keep going with my passionate hobby of making media, like the film Love Bomb, and other courses to uplift other people's lives, I would have to start making it a business in order to have the time and resources I spent on it be a part of the value deal for my family.  I hired Shawn to help me look at this hobby and help me to align it so that I could turn it into a business where my authenticity, passion for service, and love for others was also aligned with the needs and values of enough people that I could earn money for my family in exchange.  Today Shawn speaks about the principles he used to help me while answering pertinent questions from other Love Bombers wanting to be in the ethical, and fulfilling business of service. You can learn more about Shawn here:  www.drshawndill.comDuring the episode Shawn also references the book that has helped me, Book Yourself Solid.
