Subscriber-only episodeStepping into the sensual world of power exchange, We/we explore how cross-dressing serves as the ultimate expression of submission to female dominance. Men willing to adorn themselves in feminine attire—from silky lingerie to high heels—aren't just playing dress-up; they're engaging in profound acts of worship that honor feminine power and surrender masculine control.I share intimate details about my professional domination practice, including my treasured curio cabinet filled with an extensive collection of feminine attire ready for submissives to don at my command. The image of a typically powerful man—perhaps a CEO or executive in his daily life—naked and vulnerable before receiving feminine garments creates a delicious power dynamic that both parties find profoundly fulfilling. For some men, it's humiliation; for others, it's the sensual experience of forbidden fabrics against their skin. In all cases, it represents a visual embodiment of power exchange that words cannot match.Beyond the psychological aspects, We/we tackle practical advice for cross-dressing exploration, including shopping tips for finding affordable supplies at thrift stores and dollar shops. I challenge the misogynistic attitudes that devalue feminine labor and expertise in kink spaces. A true submissive understands that tribute—whether financial or otherwise—represents the first step in power exchange, acknowledging the dominant's worth and skill.Whether you're an experienced cross-dresser or merely curious about exploring this aspect of submission, this episode invites you to embrace vulnerability through gender expression while honoring the powerful women who guide these transformative experiences. Every year on Purim, Jews around the world stage shpiels, or plays, that not only feature people in costumes, but cross-dressing as well. These Purim events have allowed Jews to participate in drag throughout history, and have opened the door for other traditions like cross-casting in theater. In this episode, we'll hear from scholars Golan Moskowitz and Naomi Seidman, former drag queen Rabbi Amichai Lau-Lavie, and host Erin Phillips about Jewish historical examples of drag, Jewish contributions to the art and culture of drag, and how Jews have used drag to explore trauma, identity, and belonging.
This week on Horror Joy, Jeff and Brian wrestle with the dualities of fear in Jonathan Demme's The Silence of the Lambs and Osgood Perkins' Longlegs. They dissect the psychological and gender horrors lurking within The Silence of the Lambs, contrasting it with the mythological and satanic elements of Longlegs. They examine the tangled webs of desire, identity, and rationalization, revealing:· The transphobia in The Silence of the Lambs and how thoughts on gender have changed· The rich material world of Jonathan Demme's film· The failed mythology of Longlegs and The connection to the satanic panic in its Devil-Made-Me-Do-It tale· Whether Longlegs lives up to the comparisons to The Silence of the Lambs (it does not)So, grab your badge and join us as we follow the cryptic trail of evasive mass murderers. Dreams have power, especially when they've been nurtured for over fifteen years. Join Chastity Queen as she unveils her most cherished vision – creating a countryside Femdom Manor where crossdressers and submissives can escape societal expectations and truly be themselves. The dream unfolds with remarkable detail: a sprawling country estate with separate wings for the Queen and her sissy slaves, weekend retreats for professionals seeking liberation from their structured lives, and a renovated barn transformed into an elite dungeon space. Every aspect has been thoughtfully considered, from color-coded maid uniforms to privacy contracts, from specialized play areas to grand meals. What makes this vision particularly fascinating is its historical foundation. Chastity Queen draws additional inspiration from Casa Susanna, a groundbreaking 1950s-60s retreat that provided safe haven for crossdressers during an intensely conformist era. Recently featured in an art exhibition, this historical precedent proves that such sanctuaries aren't merely fantasies – they've existed before and fulfilled profound human needs. The emotional core of this episode emerges as Chastity Queen reflects on the painful contrast between her liberated mindset and her financial limitations. COVID-19 devastated her previous Kink house and savings, leaving her dream seemingly out of reach. Yet her passion remains undimmed as she articulates why such spaces matter: they celebrate diversity, creativity, and open-mindedness in a world increasingly hostile to gender diversity and sexual freedom. This isn't just about personal pleasure – it's about creating essential sanctuaries where people can explore their authentic selves without judgment. Whether you identify with alternative lifestyles or simply believe in freedom of expression, this episode challenges you to imagine a more accepting world. Connect with Chastity Queen at chastityqueen1@gmail.com if you're inspired to help transform this vision from dream to reality.Chastity Queen xoxoxoTry to connect with your local BDSM community. In this episode, Tracey and Kelsey discuss these three anonymous questions:1) I'm a 24-year-old woman and have never enjoyed sex because it hurts. I've been checked out by my doctor and there doesn't seem to be anything anatomically wrong, but sex is never pleasant for me. Can you help?2) I'm a 36-year-old man and have been secretly wearing women's panties under my clothes for years. It's nothing sinister. I just like the feel of the fabric on my skin and that I'm doing something 'naughty.' I have never told anyone about this and have never been found out. For the first time, I am now in a relationship with a woman I think might understand and even indulge me. Do you think I should chance it and tell her? We've been together ten months and I want to marry her.3) Can you suggest a way to speed up sex with my husband? He lasts forever and thinks it's something to be proud of. I find it boring and I get sore. All I think about is how to make it end. "A Muggy Day in Central Park" (November 14, 1968) A contemporary of Bewitched, That Girl aimed for a more sophisticated audience than most sitcoms of its era. Not only does it look more cinematic, in a way that sitcoms generally wouldn't until the 2000s, but it's also more clearly a feminist show, where Marlo Thomas plays a woman braving big city life on her own. This episode does that tired thing where gay men, cross-dressers, trans woman and drag queens are conflated down to a single thing, but it's nonetheless interesting to see how a progressive show handles queer things fairly explicitly in the 1960s. Listen to the Monday Afternoon Movie episode about the Ted Bessell thriller Scream, Pretty Peggy.
Just what does it take to be among Entertainment Weekly's "50 Best High School Movies?" According to "Just One of The Guys," a film needs to be horny, depict decent journalism and have a jaw-dropping fight scene. Bonus points for cross-dressing. This 1985 adaptation of William Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night" shocked Dick Ebert with its depictions of a boys locker room, delighted Gene Lyons with its outlandish characters and ventured dangerously close to cringe with a surprise James Brown reference. “Drew's Brother” (November 19, 1997) We finally did it! We not only found the perfect guest for this episode — writer, performer and UCB alum Joan Ford — but we also got the chance to tell the world that The Drew Carey Show deserves to live it. It's not only the most successful Friends clone but also the only one that sustained a whole series about working class young people. And in its third season, it introduced Drew's brother Steve (John Caroll Lynch) who is a cross-dresser who might just be a transwoman. What's more, the show pairs Steve off with Mimi Bobeck (Kathy Kinney), who is dragtastic and deserving of queer icon status in her own right. The Office of the Director of National Intelligence newsletter had an article about how cross-dressing made this person a better intelligence officer. It's just chaos. Everywhere. All the time, chaos. This is all the more reason why we need to be like the church of Colossae in at least this one regard. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

The Rich Zeoli Show- Hour 2: 4:05pm- Coral Davenport of The New York Times reports: “The Biden administration on Wednesday issued one of the most significant climate regulations in the nation's history, a rule designed to ensure that the majority of new passenger cars and light trucks sold in the United States are all-electric or hybrids by 2032. Nearly three years in the making, the new tailpipe pollution limits from the Environmental Protection Agency would transform the American automobile market. A record 1.2 million electric vehicles rolled off dealers' lots last year, but they made up just 7.6 percent of total U.S. car sales, far from the 56 percent target under the new regulation. An additional 16 percent of new cars sold would be hybrids.” You can read the full report here: https://www.nytimes.com/2024/03/20/climate/biden-phase-out-gas-cars.html 4:10pm- Does cross dressing make you a better intelligence officer? Spencer Lindquist of The Daily Wire reports: “Agents at the Central Intelligence Agency, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and throughout the intelligence community were distributed a newsletter that celebrated an intelligence official for crossdressing, saying that dressing up in women's clothes makes him ‘a better intelligence officer.'” You can read the full article here: https://www.dailywire.com/news/bidens-top-intelligence-agency-says-crossdressing-makes-man-better-intelligence-officer-internal-docs-show 4:30pm- Ben Brasch of The Washington Post reports: “It is the driver who takes tourists on Jeep tours. It is the veteran who works as a carpenter. It is the person who works at the Whole Foods that sells sashimi-grade salmon for $44.99 a pound. They all live a precarious life sleeping every night in their cars parked somewhere around Sedona, Ariz. It's become a big problem for the tony tourist town, which is why the Sedona City Council approved a program last week that temporarily converts an empty parking lot into a place where families or workers or students can live while trying to find a permanent home. Detractors said they feared it would eventually become an encampment of tents, which aren't allowed under the program.” You can read the full report here: https://www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2024/03/19/sedona-homeless-sleep-car-housing-crisis/ 4:40pm- According to reports, New York Attorney General Letitia James does not believe Donald Trump is “truly unable” to post the $450+ million bond in his civil fraud case. Earlier this year, New York Judge Arthur F. Engoron found that the former president inflated the value of assets controlled by the Trump Organization in past financial statements. With no jury, Judge Engoron unilaterally chose to fine Trump and barred him from conducting business in New York for three years. Notably, in 2018, while campaigning to become New York Attorney General, Letitia James vowed to “sue” Trump and routinely spoke of how she would like to see him imprisoned—providing evidence to the defense's legal argument that this civil suit was entirely political. 4:50pm- Kate-Gate! What's the latest online conspiracy theory involving Kate Middleton and the Royal Family? PLUS, are landscape paintings racist? Melvyn Bragg and guests discuss one of Shakespeare's great comedies, which plays in the space between marriage, love and desire. By convention a wedding means a happy ending and here there are three, but neither Orsino nor Viola, Olivia nor Sebastian know much of each other's true character and even the identities of the twins Viola and Sebastian have only just been revealed to their spouses to be. These twins gain some financial security but it is unclear what precisely the older Orsino and Olivia find enduringly attractive in the adolescent objects of their love. Meanwhile their hopes and illusions are framed by the fury of Malvolio, tricked into trusting his mistress Olivia loved him and who swears an undefined revenge on all those who mocked him. With Pascale Aebischer Professor of Shakespeare and Early Modern Performance Studies at the University of ExeterMichael Dobson Professor of Shakespeare Studies and Director of the Shakespeare Institute at the University of BirminghamAnd Emma Smith Professor of Shakespeare Studies at Hertford College, University of OxfordProduced by Simon Tillotson, Victoria Brignell and Luke MulhallReading list:C.L.
