Continuing in our study of the book of John, we are in John 15:9-17 but we had to detour to 1 Corinthians 13 to see how Jesus defines "love". In this passage we see that love is better (1Cor 13:1-3), love is practical (1Cor 13:4-7), and love is eternal (1Cor 13:8-13). In response we should all confess with humility that we cannot do what He has told us to do, but we want to. Ask Him to change us deeply from the inside out. (Abide).
It's 26 years since Aston Villa's last European quarter-final, but this time there's more on the line than a semi-final. Villa need positive results in the two legged affair to help with English team's UEFA coefficient rating, which will open up fifth place in the Premier League to qualify for the Champions' League next season.A win against Villa's main threat to lift the Europa Conference League will certainly mean the Unai Emery revolution is about to enter a defining stage.UTVSpecial VPN Offer with Four Months FreeThis episode of the My Old Man Said podcast is sponsored by NordVPN, which was named as one of TIME's 2022 Best Inventions (Apps and Software section). Music is one of the host Steve Cuss' favorite ways to relax into God's presence. On this episode he welcomes two artists who help him do just that—Andy Gullahorn and Jill Phillips. A married couple in Nashville, Tennessee, both Andy and Jill are singer-songwriters. Jill also practices as a therapist and Andy has a unique healing ministry. The three discuss the power of songs and how the music industry has changed over time. They talk about what it means to pursue “a long obedience in the same direction,” as the late Eugene Peterson put it, and how to pursue work that is faithful and meaningful. They share practices they'd like to see uprooted in the church, as well as those they hope to see implemented. Finally, they share the experiences that generate reactivity in them and how they try to respond with gentleness and godliness. There is only one way to see God, and it's through Jesus. This last Sunday, one of our elders, Andoni Montaño, spoke on what it means to live by faith. Jesus was never afraid to call out lies, and as Christians we have the responsibility to judge any idea that sets itself up against the way of Jesus. Seasons of life and cultural ideas, whether inherently good or bad, can offer you an identity that is not yours. This is why it's so important to be formed by the written word of God and the voice of the Holy Spirit. We were made to depend on God and receive our identity from Him. This is how the life of Christ is formed in you and how His kingdom is released around you.

Jack Donovan has been writing and speaking about masculinity, masculine philosophy, and spirituality for over a decade. His foundational book, The Way of Men, has sold over 100,000 copies worldwide and has been translated into French, German, Portuguese, Spanish, and Polish. Donovan is an occasional speaker and often appears on podcasts to discuss masculinity and the challenges faced by men who want to live masculine lives in the 21st Century. His views are very different from what is becoming the conventional norm. But Jack wants to bring men back to their roots of masculinity. He has explored and embraced how humanity was when we existed in tribes, before cities, states and empires came to be. He acknowledges that while society has changed and evolved, the evolutionary psychology behind masculinity has remained unchanged. Jack is a mentally tough individual who truly does not allow the opinions of others to affect his drive to succeed. Now, hear his take on the Essential 11 questions. We often get asked, “What are simple things I can do to act on climate change?” and after hearing this episode we think you'll agree that one simple thing you can do is use cold water when doing laundry. Are you a Definer who uses hot water when doing laundry? Well, if you use cold water instead, you can reduce your energy use from doing your laundry by 90 percent! The sponsor of this bonus episode, Tide, is leading a behavior change movement to get consumers to switch to energy-saving cold water, while saving money in the process. In fact, Tide has a goal for three out of four loads of laundry in the United States and Canada to be washed in cold instead of hot by 2030. We have loads of fun in our interview with Todd Cline, Senior Director, Head of Sustainability, Procter & Gamble, North America Fabric Care, where you'll hear how Tide plans to achieve this goal, the impact of reaching the goal, and how Tide has innovated formula to deliver a high performance clean in cold water. We think you'll get hot once you realize how many people are missing the opportunity to save so much energy and money, and you'll forever be a cold water laundry champion. ----------------------------- Sustainability Defined is the podcast that seeks to define sustainability, one concept (and bad joke) at a time.

His foundational book, The Way of Men, has sold over 100,000 copies worldwide and has been translated into French, German, Portuguese, Spanish and Polish. Last ned hele kursplanleggeren her. Her finner du listen over de andre stegene. --- NEDLASTNINGER --- • Hvor starter du for å lage onlinekurs?
Back in 2009, I visited my parents in the New Jersey town where I grew up. On a bright Sunday afternoon, we journeyed by car a short distance to the Monmouth Battlefield State Park, just outside town. This was the site of the last major battle in the north, during the American Revolution, on June 28, 1778, and it was the largest one-day battle of the war (in terms of participants). It was a needed victory for George Washington and his troops after their dreadful winter in Valley Forge. Major General Lafayette described this bloody battle in oppressive heat as Washington's finest hour. Full text - https://www.tomorrowsworld.org/commentary/definer-of-the-nation
