In this episode a group of students and patrons join me to reflect on the recent Mars-Saturn conjunction in Aries, and to share stories of how it manifested in our lives based on which of the twelve houses it was transiting in our birth charts. The episode opens with a brief introduction where I talk about the importance of taking into account both the entire range of the sign-based conjunction or copresence between Mars and Saturn, which lasted from April 9 until May 18, as well as the more intense range of the degree-based conjunction which went exact on April 19. After that I interview several people about their experience of the conjunction, and we end up covering most of the twelve houses. A recurring theme that we keep encountering is letting go of something in our life that was represented by the house of the conjunction, such as quitting smoking under a 6th house conjunction, quitting one's job due to their boss in the 10th house, or leaving one's marriage in the 7th house. It was clear that although this process of letting something go wasn't easy, in many instances it was freeing up the native and making room for something better that would develop in that area of the life in the future. In this episode I explore the astrology behind the deadly Hantavirus outbreak that is currently dominating global news headlines, specifically focusing on how it began around the recent Mars-Saturn conjunction, and demonstrating why ancient astrologers associated these alignments with plagues and pestilences. This is an alignment that we were nervous about and actually predicted in our year-ahead forecast for 2026, partially because it reminded me of the Mars-Saturn conjunction that took place in March and April of 2020. During that time, the world experienced the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns just as Mars and Saturn came together in Capricorn and Aquarius. I review clips from our previous forecasts to show how we anticipated this, and break down exactly why these specific malefic conjunctions describe very difficult periods of time historically. To show how these alignments work in practice, I go through a detailed timeline of the current Hantavirus outbreak that began on a cruise ship over the past month, showing how perfectly the crisis mapped onto the exact Mars-Saturn-Neptune conjunction. I also walk through several other historical case studies from the past decade to demonstrate this recurring pattern. We look at how previous Mars-Saturn conjunctions coincided with major inflection points for the 2014 Ebola outbreak, the 2022 Monkeypox outbreak, and the naming of the AIDS pandemic back in 1982. Part of my goal here was not simply to highlight a successful prediction and show how well the outbreak ended up coinciding with the alignment, but also to demonstrate why I made the prediction based on other similar alignments I had seen in the past. A couple of interesting additional things I found in this episode are that the Hantavirus first became recognized during a major outbreak in the Korean War in the early 1950s, which coincided closely with a Saturn-Neptune conjunction. Later, the Hantavirus was officially named and categorized under two Mars-Saturn conjunctions in 1980 and 1982. Now, we are seeing a recurrence of both of those planetary alignments, with the Mars-Saturn-Neptune conjunction that started in April, right as a new major outbreak of the virus is happening in the world. Finally, I touch on the underlying philosophy of mundane astrology: the idea that the planets are not necessarily causing events to happen, but rather they act as a timing mechanism that mirrors what is happening on Earth. Because repetition is the key to prediction in astrology, studying the alignments surrounding these current and past outbreaks can provide us with a framework for forecasting the future, and my hope is that this will provide a useful foundation for later studies. This week might look calm on the surface — but it's not a week to check out. It's a week to ride the calm out, while Mars and Saturn finish their work and Mercury flies close to the Sun. There's pressure here, but it's focused. Our work is to refine, clarify, and prepare for what is about to move.We begin with a bright but waning Moon traversing the currently lonely half of the zodiac, giving us a breather from the busy signs ranging from Pisces to Cancer. This is a strong tide demanding that we let go of those old patterns as we walk toward a new horizon.Mercury spends the rest of May catching up with the Sun. This is the first full week of combustion, fusing Mercury's message into the Sun's exaltation. Clear, concise, true, and compassionate are the guideposts for communication this week. This will be the final week of the Mars - Saturn conjunction in Pisces. Mars enters Aries next Sunday, May 10th. The friction caused by the push and pull of Mars and Saturn could intensify this week, in an urgent call to finalize details and strategies when it comes to the domain of life associated with Pisces in your chart. Use the courage of Mars and the practicality of Saturn to discern the viability of resources. With no other planets changing signs in this week ahead, and with the following week showing a plethora of shifts in concert with the new Moon, it may feel like a quiet time to regroup. So ride the calm out this week — not by stepping back, but by getting clear, getting honest, and getting ready. Because what you refine now is what you'll move forward with next.Daily Keywords:Sunday May 3: EMOTIONAL DEEP DIVEMonday May 4: PROTECTIVE TRANSFORMATIONTuesday May 5: DISLODGE HABITSWednesday May 6: PLANT SEEDSThursday May 7: PRECISE DISCIPLINEFriday May 8: STRUCTURED RECEPTIVITYSaturday May 9: ORDERED CHAOSHello! In this episode I explore the stark astrological alignments coinciding with the escalating global oil crisis, which is rapidly accelerating as the planets Mars and Saturn form a conjunction in the sky. In the first part of the episode I discuss how the Mars-Saturn conjunction, which goes exact on April 19, is set to coincide with when the last oil tankers that made it out of the Strait of Hormuz before the war in Iran began will arrive at their destinations. Then in the second part of the episode I discuss how this is tied in with the broader Saturn-Neptune conjunction that recently occurred, and how important turning points in the history of oil often coincide with these conjunctions, which take place every 36 years. JOIN SHERI HORN HASAN @ https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking for the latest podcast which drops today April 10!CAPRICORN MOON SQUARE THE ARIES SUN DEMANDS RESPONSIBLE—NOT RECKLESS—ACTION! We're right now still in the waning stages of the Pisces New Moon monthly lunar cycle which began on March 18. That's until we hit the Aries New Moon, which will occur on April 17 at 27'29” degrees of Aries at 4:52 am PT & 7:52 am ET next Friday, April 17.Between now & then, however, we're dealing still with the mission to grow into feeling greater empathy for our fellow humans. Challenged at the Libra Full Moon on April 1 to release any tendency toward going it alone by shunning the advice or support of allies, this waning third quarter square—known as a “crisis in consciousness”—relates to the tension between acting impulsively & understanding our responsibility to others. Therefore, the Saturn-ruled Capricorn Moon, which represents “the people” in mundane astrology, now demands a stop to the unbridled, impatient, impetuous choices & actions made by the Mars-ruled Aries Sun (the leader) without consideration of the opinions or advice of its partners. The Saturn-ruled Capricorn Moon also archetypally represents of “the judge,” the symbol of wisdom & justice. So, it's now at this third quarter waning lunar “crisis in consciousness” square that people are more consciously judging the consequences--& wisdom--of such a leader's actions. That's because it's now abundantly clear the U.S. acted independently of its NATO allies by waging war with Israel against Iran. And that such actions have proven impulsive, lacked strategic insight or well-defined achievable goals, & did not include not well thought out possible negative consequences. We are now at the point where people are demanding that the U.S. (& Israel by extension, since both are led by leaders who favor violent retribution rather than negotiation) sit down & act more responsibly. Especially since this is in keeping with the current month's lunar cycle's message of empathy. This third quarter square late on April 9/early April 10 was preceded by Mars' entrance into its own sign of Aries on April 9, so let me say a word or two about Mars in Aries. While Mars' entrance into its own sign of Aries increases the risk of impulsive action, it reminds us also of what are the highest & best uses of Mars' energies. And that—given that Mars' positive attributes include motivation, ambition, & assertion—the best use of Mars' energies relate to being motivated to come to the defense of, & protect, those weaker & less able to do so for themselves. Because the choice is always up to us, we can opt for hasty decisions that further our recklessness, or ones that are tempered by realizing negotiation doesn't mean surrender; rather it means the balancing of interests between parties.Given the general theme of the Pisces New Moon monthly lunar cycle as it wanes this week, we might understand that the upcoming Aries New Moon will give us the opportunity to do just that BECAUSE we've not grown those seeds of empathy for our fellow humans into a healthy enough plant by April 17.We'll talk more about that next week. However, right now we can see that this week brings--in addition to Mars entrance into Aries until he moves into Venus-ruled Taurus May 18—a plethora of Aries energy including the Sun, Saturn, Neptune, & Mars. That this will increase as the week goes on to include Mercury's move into Mars-ruled Aries on April 14, which may well create additional bombastic rhetoric for those who are already martially inclined. Implications include those who like to talk a lot—including those in power such as the U.S. Congress, which has a lot to consider as they return from their two-week recess on April 13, just after the Mars/Neptune conjunction in Aries late April 12/early April 13, depending on your time zone.Together, we've got a recipe for potential deceit by those who insist on rhetoric that feeds into what some of us may want to hear, but which lacks actual facts. In short, we're cautioned to be “careful of people who appeal to you through your favorite ideals or delusions and then take you for a ride,” as astrologer Rob Hand describes this aspect in his book “Planets In Transit.”By April 16 when the Sun conjoins wounded healer Chiron in Aries we may begin to see how our actions have wounded others, & how this annual cycle may allow us to promote healing—for both ourselves & othersAlso that day we have Mars in Aries sextiling Pluto in Aquarius, & we may see new plans replace old ones in ways that provide the opportunity for developing a clearer objective. That's probably most likely if we take this sextile's opportunity to engage in negotiations rather than trying to use it as an opportunity to gain more power over our opponents. When Mercury conjoins Neptune in Aries late April 16/early April 17, it will be more important than ever for us to rely on our critical thinking capabilities in order to discern between fact & fiction. While good for creative insights & artistic expressions—especially of the more subtle kind—this aspect a lack of honesty making any kind of negotiations & communication unclear & confusing in nature. That this is what will lead to the Aries New Moon April 17 can be seen also in the fact that there is bound to be a lot of frustration building between now & April 19 when Mars conjoins with Saturn in Aries. That's an aspect that denotes feeling like one is banging one's head against a brick wall. In Aries, it's particularly frustrating, which is likely the situation as the Aries New Moon begins a new monthly lunar cycle on April 17 as this Mars/Saturn energy is waxing.Join us for all this & more Astro News You Can Use @ https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking starting today! Note that this podcast also includes a look at the bigger astrological picture through the major cycles as they unfold. And that means the Saturn/Pluto sextile, the waxing Saturn/Neptune in Aries energies, the “it ain't over til it's over” triggered U.S. Pluto return as Pluto's now in Aquarius, the waxing Jupiter/Saturn cycle--& more!Tune in starting today for more on all of this! Dear Ones,I am back after a long break with the April forecast. Brandon of the Spiritual Gayz joined me for this conversation and, as always, their voice is a gift and a refreshing treat. We are skyrocketing headlong into the Mars+Saturn conjunction, which dominates the skies for several weeks in mid-April. Unfortunately, Mars is likely to ramp up the tension and confusion in an already challenging moment. There is no good way to talk about the times to come. I feel myself gravitating between overwhelm and defensive levity, but if April feels crushing, know that you are not alone and that May and June will bring happier skies and a much welcome reprieve from the relentless quality of 2026.On April 15, Theresa and I will hold a free community session. If you are in need of community or extra support, we would love to see you on Zoom.Additionally, Inner Currents holds a meditation every Sunday morning, which is centered on offering up a special prayer and healing for the world. A deep dive into the astrology forecast for April 2026, with astrologers Chris Brennan and Austin Coppock. The first hour is dedicated to unpacking the astrology behind recent world events, with a primary focus on the outbreak of war in Iran that aligned with the recent Mars-Uranus square. We explore the striking historical repetitions at play, discussing how current Saturn-Neptune and eclipse cycles mirror significant historical turning points from the past, and what that means for the present global landscape. In the second half, we transition into the granular astrology of April, a month characterized by a fiery, highly concentrated planetary stellium in Aries. The standout alignment is a severe and grinding Mars-Saturn conjunction peaking mid-month, bringing intense friction, tests of endurance, and a distinct feeling of pressing the gas and the brakes at the exact same time. Finally, we look ahead to the monumental shift occurring on April 25 as Uranus officially ingresses into Gemini, where it will remain for the next seven years. In episode 520 astrologer Nick Dagan Best joins me for a live workshop where we interviewed five listeners who shared stories about how recurrence transits coincided with important moments in their lives. This is a follow-up to our original episode on recurrence transits from November 2025, where we first introduced the concept of tracking when planetary aspects in the sky repeat specific aspect configurations from your birth chart. While our initial discussion focused largely on celebrity charts to illustrate the theory, for this episode we wanted to demonstrate how this technique manifests in practice by interviewing several patrons who generously shared their personal stories. During the show, we speak with five listeners who walk us through their chronologies to show how these transits coincided with major life events. We examine a wide variety of planetary combinations, including Mars-Saturn, Mars-Uranus, and Venus-Jupiter alignments. The examples illustrate how the repetition of a natal aspect can trigger pivotal turning points involving career changes, relationships, accidents, and even multi-generational family patterns. What becomes clear through these interviews is how the recurrence of a natal aspect often coincides with events that are thematically consistent with the original promise of the birth chart, sometimes playing out as literal repetitions of the past or as significant evolutions of a personal narrative. We also discuss some of the technical nuances of working with recurrence transits, such as the importance of phase relationships, and how to track these cycles using the search tools available on Astro-Seek. This episode serves as a practical demonstration of how to research and apply this technique to gain a deeper understanding of your own biography and the timing of major life events. December is the ground shaking beneath your feet—the month where fantasy collides with reality and you realize just how much you've survived, and are ready to thrive. Big changes are coming down the pipe, the kind you look back on and say: I lived through that? It's time to show up with courage, devotion, and your big-girl (or boy) pants. This month is all about themes, not timelines:THEME 1: Walking Into the UnknownThis month opens by dragging you into the unlit corners of your potential. You're not scared of the dark—you're scared of your imagination. This is your work: meet the shadows, integrate them, and step into a new perspective as the Gemini Full Moon cracks your mind wide open.THEME 2: Feeling Everything AgainYour senses switch from dim to technicolor. Let the tears flow, taste the joy, and soften the walls you've built around feeling. You incarnated to feel. Let yourself be human. Mars–Saturn pushes you into action while Neptune's direct motion blurs the line between intuition and illusion.THEME 3: Celebrate Your Wins & Your FailuresThrow yourself a failure party. Seriously. Reflect on what went beautifully and what went horribly wrong. Both matter. Both teach. Mars in Capricorn and the Sagittarius New Moon light a fire under your devotion—this is vision-making season.THEME 4: Quiet IlluminationThe solstice brings soft breakthroughs. Light returns, inside and out. Let the insights simmer without trying to make meaning too fast. Mercury–Neptune and Venus–Saturn might stir emotional tension, but it's all clarity in disguise.THEME 5: Enter the VoidThe end of December is not for planning—it's for dissolving. Rest. Bathe. Breathe. Sink into the darkness that births everything. The void is fertile. The answers live in the silence. January can wait.JOIN THE FANTASTICAL VOID - https://www.megthompson.com/the-fantastical-voidSend us a message and let us know what you love about this episodeImportant Links: www.Megthompson.com Attuned - CLICK HERE Let's Connect on Instagram - CLICK HERE
In episode 505 astrologers Chris Brennan and Austin Coppock look at the astrological forecast for September of 2025! We spend the first hour of the episode talking about the astrology behind news and events that occurred since last month's forecast, and then in the second hour we transition into talking about the astrology of September, starting at 53 minutes. This month's news discussion focuses heavily on the themes of peak reality distortion and bubbles popping, which manifested over the summer during the peak of the Saturn-Neptune conjunction, and then was accentuated in August when Mars opposed Saturn and Neptune. On a more positive note, we also discuss the auspicious Venus-Jupiter conjunction in August and its connection to the engagement of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. The forecast for September is dominated by eclipse season, which is just getting started as the month begins, with a lunar eclipse in Pisces and a solar eclipse in Virgo. The most difficult alignment this month is a Mars-Pluto square happening around the week of September 24, which coincides with the second eclipse in Virgo around September 21. Other major alignments this month include a Saturn returning to Pisces, Uranus stationing retrograde in Gemini for the first time, and a Mars-Jupiter square. The Full Moon in Aquarius occurs between two extremes. On one hand, we have some really tough astrology via a Mars/Saturn opposition. This energy can speak to delays, frustrations, blockages, and irritation. On the other hand, just a few days later we have a conjunction of Venus and Jupiter, which indicates major blessings, opportunities, and sweetness via connection with loved ones and family. Additionally, Mercury, planet of communication and messages, finally stations direct, opposite Pluto. Yes, this indicates the end of Mercury Retrograde, but it also indicates possibly that secrets and hidden information will be unearthed at this time. This Full Moon in sidereal Capricorn peaks as Mars opposes Saturn, creating tension and heightened emotions, especially around feelings of restriction or pressure. Capricorn demands patience and focus—qualities needed even more with this intense Mars-Saturn opposition. The Moon aligns with Śravaṇa, the 'star sign of listening', symbolised by an ear and three footsteps. Śravaṇa connects us to knowledge passed down through oral tradition and encourages inward focus, although Full Moons are generally more outgoing. It's a good time to absorb spiritual teachings, enjoy music, or take short trips—though Mercury opposite the Moon and about to station direct suggests potential delays to be mindful of.Mercury's shift in direction may stir confusion, particularly as it occurs in Cancer, heightening emotional and mental noise. Communication challenges are likely, so it's best to slow down and listen before stating anything as fact.
Send us a textThis month, the cosmos doesn't ask you to move fast — it asks you to move honestly. August 2025 opens a sacred portal through tension, clarity, and heart expansion. We begin with the Full Moon in Aquarius and end with a soft but powerful Venus-Jupiter blessing in Cancer. In between? A cosmic test of maturity, courage, and soul alignment. Listen in for the full astrology breakdown, including the rare kite formation and Mars-Saturn opposition — and stay for all 12 sign-by-sign predictions to help you move through this portal with purpose.
The month begins with retrograde Mercury meeting the Sun in mid-Cancer, sparking fresh ideas. However, Mercury remains in review mode until August 11, urging caution in planning—especially as both Mercury and the Sun oppose Pluto. After Mercury turns direct, clarity begins to return, though plans may not fully take shape until after August 25, when Mercury clears its 'shadow'.By mid-month, the Sun enters Leo—its sign—and conjoins Ketu, creating both strength and uncertainty ahead of September's solar eclipse in Virgo. Despite Ketu's transit through Leo in 2025–26, no solar eclipses occur there. The next solar eclipse is a partial one in Virgo (September 2025), followed by a total eclipse in Cancer in August 2026.The last eclipse in Leo—a lunar eclipse at the final degree on March 14 2025—was recently activated by Mars, stirring political scandals. Could this signal the downfall of Trump, or will he remain shielded by the absence of solar eclipses in Leo? Ketu, as always, both reveals and conceals.Mars entered Virgo at the end of July and now opposes retrograde Saturn and Neptune in Pisces. These slow-moving planets hold their degree into 2026, sustaining a mood of disillusionment. Mars' opposition in August and September heightens frustration, as practical tasks feel overwhelming against a backdrop of ongoing collapse. The exact Mars-Saturn opposition on August 9 is also a Full Moon in Saturn's sign, Capricorn, a day to be cautious—better to raise a white flag than escalate tensions.Venus and Jupiter conjoin in Gemini on August 11, just after the Full Moon, increasing the potential to overindulge because of the emotional intensity. Venus enters Cancer on August 20 and opposes Pluto, peaking on August 27. This draws us toward emotional security, possibly through home life or on holiday, even as global unrest remains impossible to ignore.Overall, August is a tense month, where overindulgence is an understandable and likely result. Hidden pressures from Mars and Ketu give way to more visible conflicts, with Neptune blurring the picture, making it harder to define or reach the end goal.

Sheri Horn Hasan's “Karmic Evolution's Astrologically Speaking!” podcast--which drops Friday, February 7—is BAAAAACK! Listen here: https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speakingThis week's Astro News You Can Use includes a look at how--as we approach the Feb 12 Leo Full Moon--the world has been watching as those in the U.S. begin to wake up to a new reality within its governing structure and to fight back. There is no doubt, since the January 29 Aquarius New Moon & the direct stations of Uranus & Jupiter, that the news has been flying so fast and furiously that it's been difficult to keep up most days unless you're a diehard news addict. No wonder sudden shock (Uranus=sudden change) related to codified U.S. law (Jupiter=law, immigration, higher education, religion, philosophy, ethics & morals) has shaken many American's faith in their governing systems.Venus represents who we value as partners, finances, and what we do to earn our money, a.k.a., work, or our “jobs.” And now, since Venus in Aries sextiled Pluto on February 7, these most unconventional—and many say illegal—orders out of President Trump's White House have prompted legal push back. And the fight (Aries) over governmental finances, jobs, & between existig allies & trading partners (Venus) continues. The opportunity to fight back against Plutonic efforts to disempower people by imposing tariffs against allied trading partners, withholding funds from Americans, laying off government workers, discontinuing funding for charitable efforts, etc., has began to bear fruit, considering that a double-digit number of lawsuits have been filed to date. And word has it there will be more anon…after all, the Jupiter mission, now direct, is expansion, lol... We wait to see if there are any new major shocking announcements of the legal sort between now & February 9's Aquarius Sun/Mercury conjunction, Mars/Saturn trine, February 10's Mercury/Uranus square, & February 11's Sun/Uranus square, as we head into the February 12's Leo Full Moon.We do know that Trump's been experiencing a square from transiting Saturn in Pisces from his 7th House of partnership to his natal 10th House Gemini Uranus (which conjoins his Gemini North Node & Sun there), likely spurring his need to shock through unconventional pronouncements. Since several judges have stayed his Executive Orders on issues concerning U.S. birthright, stoppage of funding via USAID, lay-offs of federal workers, granting non elected individuals access to the Treasury Department's payment system, and more, to date, we may well have Saturn to thank. Especially since transiting Saturn will go on to exact square his natal Nodes, Sagittarius Moon, & Gemini Sun--all by April 12, we may see more delays or shut downs of these efforts. We shall see...This Leo Full Moon forms a fixed cross as the Leo Moon opposes the Aquarius Sun & both luminaries square Juno in Scorpio (the partner in the sign of joint resources) opposite Uranus (sudden change.) This period will likely shock even more people out of their complacency over Trump's attempts to take a wrecking ball to America's usual civil & legal structures. Some are calling this a coup from the inside, which puts a new slant on Trump's “deep state” propaganda to mean that HE is the “deep state.” *(Well, it wouldn't be the first time that he is what he projects others to be, right?)Meanwhile, we delve into the meaning of the recent shift of the transiting nodal axis into a Virgo South Node & Pisces North Node, & take a look at the health implications (not only for the U.S. but for the world) since the Hygeia's (asteroid goddess of health) conjoined with the dwarf planet Eris, the goddess of chaos & discord on January 9. This as we await whether the February 11 Senate voters confirm that RFK, Jr., will become our next U.S. Secretary of Health & Human Services. This, as wounded healer Chiron in Aries (wound around the previous inability to take action or to be proactive) heads toward its exact conjunction with Eris on May 26. A lot will likely happen between now and then, given other major astrological shifts coming up, so we'll wait, and watch, and see…Join me now for this interesting and timely podcast @ https://www.karmicevolution.com/astrologically-speaking and I'll see you then! Namaste…
Astrology forecast for September 29-October 5 New episode up now! Chris and Almie talk about the upcoming New Moon Solar Eclipse that will be exact at 11:49am pacific time on Wednesday, October 2nd. Chris speculates about whether this eclipse could bring another wrinkle to an already unpredictable presidential race, and which candidate might be most impacted. They also talk about Black Moon Lilith being a part of this eclipse and how that could bring some additional intensity to things and perhaps lead to a secret or two being revealed. Because the eclipse is happening in the sign of Libra, we could see some changes/adjustments in our relationships, partnerships, and our style choices, and we could be looking for ways to bring additional balance and harmony into our lives. And they discuss the Mars-Saturn trine that's exact Sunday, September 29th, the Sun-Mercury conjunction that could have us feeling especially communicative on Monday, and the other major water trine of the week, a Venus-Saturn trine that will be exact on Friday, October 4th. In “Ask a Scorpio,” Chris asks Almie about her experience at the Disney California Adventure Halloween event called “Oogie Boogie Bash,” and how her halloween costume was received. Episode 9 In this podcast, professional astrologers Chani Nicholas, Thea Anderson, and Eliza Robertson look to the sky to make sense of what's happening here on Earth. This episode brings you into the astrological group chat to talk through how recent transits (read: the Mars–Uranus conjunction, the Full Moon in Capricorn, and Mars' ingress into Gemini) have shown up in the collective — and specifically, the US presidential election. JOIN SHERI HORN HASAN @KARMIC EVOLUTION DOT COM WHEN TODAY'S “KARMIC EVOLUTION'S ASTROLOGICALLY SPEAKING!” for all of this & more Astro News You Can Use!First we review what went down during the balsamic period of last month's lunar cycle, then discuss the August 4 Leo New Moon & Mercury's station retrograde in Virgo from the lens of the upcoming American presidential election.Could it be that Mercury retrograde in Virgo asks us to reevaluate our attitude toward whether or not a woman can be president? Especially given that Virgo's traditionally an archetypal sign representing, among other things, the girl next door & “the virgin” (which of course applies to females and not males in this patriarchal world we've been living in for so long.)Next we look at the energies inherent in the upcoming new synodic cycle when Mars meets Jupiter in Gemini & Mercury retrograde reenters Leo August 14. Will our gung ho attitude be slowed by Mercury Rx AND frustrated since Mars also squares Saturn in Pisces late on August 14/early August 15?And might this frustration relate to resistance (Saturn) to the motivation (Mars) to electing a female as the head of state here in the U.S.? And might such resistance prove frustrating to many who support electing the first American female head of state? As always, however, Mars/Saturn frustration is best relieved by slow, concentrated, hard work!Next we turn our attention to the upcoming repeat of Mercury retrograde in Leo square to Uranus in Taurus & the Leo Sun's conjunction with Mercury retro in Leo—on August 18. We might remember this Mercury direct square to Uranus just after the July 21 Capricorn Full Moon & how the world was rocked by President Joe Biden's sudden announcement he was dropping out of the presidential race. So, what will it be this time? And might it be related to the scare the world felt when the stock market took a sudden dive on August 2 (given that Venus squared Uranus that day) and then continued its downward movement as Venus quincunxed Pluto August 5 (signifying the need for an adjustment?)So, might the August 18 Mercury Rx/Uranus square & Leo Sun/Mercury Rx conjunction lead us to a repeat of some sort of sudden, possibly shocking announcement? Perhaps related to the announcement of an interest rate drop by U.S. Federal Reserve chairman Jerome Powell BEFORE the expected date in September--especially since Venus squares Jupiter August 18 too?Join us at KARMIC EVOLUTION DOT COM as we explore all of these astro energies as they relate to the news, and more! Especially as we look also at the deeper meaning of the current Mercury retrograde cycle (which ends August 24) as he begins to enter the fire element for the rest of the year and beyond! Are we tasked to ask ourselves now—as renowned Jungian astrologer Erin Sullivan suggests in her book “Retrograde Planets, Traversing the Inner Landscape”--“How can my inspiration create my future?” Much food for thought so be sure to join us & have a listen as we take a deeper dive into all this & more ! Namaste…

Hi everyone! In this segment I share an interesting and exciting tool that I've been using with my family. Astrology works. Therefore, everything will have a birth chart and synastry/compatibility will work in the same way for all relationships. That said, if you've ever listened to any of my relationship synastry podcasts or watched any videos, like this one, you'll find that this isn't very different! States, countries, territories - they have personalities! And depending on the energy of the space, it will impact us in various ways. Why do you love Idaho while your husband hates it? Why is it that every time you go to New York, you seem to be low energy? Why does Montana just set you free? This is all due to some astrological significance between you and the space. Steps: 1. Calculate your birth chart 2. Calculate the spaces chart. You don't *need* a time to do this, because we are most interested in how the states planets relate to YOU. 3. See any personal connection. Look for planets in the same sign as you or planets opposing your natal planets. Remember that, often, Moon/Venus/Mercury/Jupiter will create lighter energy. Mars/Saturn may be a little harsher. Rahu/Ketu is karmic. To be basic here (: 4. Look to see the relationship between your atmakaraka and darakaraka. AK is the planet with highest degrees. DK is lowest. Maybe you have the same AK as the state you love, its AK is on your ascendant. Maybe the states AK is in the same sign as your DK! I have done this with several charts and if you've lived in a place for a long time or find yourself ever returning to a land - there will absolutely be SOMETHING significant that you find. I hope you enjoy! Mars and Saturn have their bi-annual meetup on April 10th at 14˚ Pisces. This can bring some intense stormy weather events, especially in Eclipse season with Jupiter and Uranus meeting 10 days later. However, on a soul level, despite the possibility of frustrations and erupting tantrums there''s a big sense of leaving behind a lot of old ancestral and intergenerational trauma and patterns as you master things that you have been working to let go. You can overcome a lot of fears and limiting beliefs through this next two year cycle.
