We are joined by Bjorn this time for two fun and crazy beers. First we have Barrier Brewing Kickin' Knowledge: Pumpkin. This is beer 9 in the series and it's one of the weirdest beers we've ever tired. This milkshake IPA is brewed with vanilla, coconut, pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, coriander and all spice. Guess how many flavors we could taste. Italian brewers Brewfist used to be found everywhere. These days they are a bit harder to find. We tried the SWX: Spaghetti Western Double 10th Anniversary, a double imperial coffee chocolate stout with cocoa nibs.
This week's episode features Daniel Birch and Earl Barrett Holloway. Dan works for Barrier Brewing and Earl with KCBC and they are big supporters of each other which I love. Each of them have their own unique style and are key to the branding of their respective breweries which is awesome. We have had the opportunity to hang together on a few occasions and were even featured on the other side of the mic from Heritage Radio Network. This episode is a virtual hang and a lot of fun. We shared the stage and support each other while catching up and checking in on each other's sanity and how we are all coping with this. The dynamic was as close as we could get to hanging out but was genuine and real and felt normal. Learning about each other's schedules and projects as well as a little discussion on things we want to do in the future.
Back with a couple of shelfies, as I have a lot of new beer coming in…time to drink up! Revision is from Sparks, NV. The first beer is a triple IPA at 10.5% abv. It is called Hops in a Can. The next on is from Barrier Brewing Co. My first beer from them. This … Continue reading "Revision Hops in a Can TIPA and Barrier Brewing Kickin Knowledge MIPA"

We discuss election anxiety, talk about 2020 hindsight while sipping on Barrier Brewing's own Shore Shaker, break down Busta Rhymes new thematic epic and help YOU, the wonderful people of the internet, in another Google Docs M.D. checkup!
We know how Marc-Andre Fleury feels, getting stabbed in the back, as Aleks has deserted us for the night. But never fear, tune in as Scott, Zach, and Daniel answer some tough questions about Carey Price, Kyle Connor, and the trade of Kasperi Kapanen. The only thing crazier than Jim Rutherford at the helm in Pittsburgh, is the large smiley face Zach shaved into his chest hair for an order of 50 chicken nuggets. If you don't wanna miss that (you don't), head over to our YouTube channel and check it out. Some awesome enhancements are coming to ITNZ and we can't wait to show you. Somehow we forgot to do our ranking system for the Beer of the Week, but the Pink Guava milkshake IPA from Barrier Brewing was definitely 8.5 MAF agent social media posts out of 10.

Well I had a good run. High rating beers out the wazoo and 2019 put an end to that streak. That's right, this beer SUCKS. It was SO bad I had to do the beer review IMMEDIATELY because it took me so long to pour the beer into the glass. Something went wrong with this brew and I apologize for having to wreck the flow of the show. Don't blame me, blame this brewery. And Rob. Cause he left. Other than that HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all and hopefully you can enjoy this show! See acast.com/privacy for privacy and opt-out information.
