Today I talk to Karen Venables of Legal Solutions. Last year Legal Solutions was the winner of Employer of Choice in the Chamber of Commerce Awards, so I wanted to speak to Karen about this, and what she has put in place in her business that facilitated winning this award. What I found is how Karen and her fellow director are shedding the stuffy image of your normal law firm. Such things as brightly coloured furniture, open plan office, flexi time for her staff, inclusive team meetings, bonus payments for all on company performance, and so much more. What it underlines is the culture of if you treat your staff well, they will in turn treat you clients well.
