Hello and welcome to Bill vs the MCU! Each month your hosts Pop Break Podcasting Director Alex Marcus and Pop Break Editor in Chief Bill Bodkin are taking another step into the wider Marvel Multiverse as the MCU dives deeper into their Multiverse Saga. Bill & Alex spent all of 2022 rewatching the first four phases of the MCU, and they just spent 2023 covering the first phase of Netflix's The Defenders Saga and the first four seasons of ABC's Agents of SHIELD. This year, they journeyed into Fox's X-Verse with their X-Treme X-Watch. Now they are back with their Defenders Disassembled miniseries, where they take a tour through all the final seasons of every Marvel Netflix series as they get ready for the triumphant return of Matt, Karen, Foggy, and Frank in Daredevil: Born Again this spring. First, Bill & Alex won't be doing a proper MCU check in episode until January, when they review Echo and Agatha All Along after they've wrapped up their Defenders coverage, but, recently Marvel Studios released a full rundown of everything to expect from Marvel on Disney Plus in 2025 and released a few new film trailers at their D23 event in Brazil. The 2025 slate of projects include three animated series, three live action series, and, over on the big screen, three feature films, for a total of nine Marvel projects over the next twelve months, and Bill & Alex decided to rank how hyped they are for each. After that, stick around for an in depth discussion of the third and final season of Marvel's Daredevil. The season pays off the cliffhanger that ended The Defenders, answering the question just how Matt survived an entire skyscraper falling on him and only to wake up being tended to by nuns. It also brings back Vincent D'Onofrio's Wilson Fisk and sets up a showdown between Matt and a new foe with killer aim who may or may not be the comic character known as Bullseye. Watch along with us! Next episode's title is Jessica Jones S3 (available to stream on Disney+), which will be covered in our episode later this December.

First, a new MCU show is here! Agatha All Along is out and blowing up Disney Plus. Alex & Bill will give you their customary season rewatch treatment of the show in a few months, along with a look back at Echo, but, with this being the tenth Marvel Studio's TV series of the Disney Plus era, the guys thought it might be fun to take a quick tour through the last three and a half years by ranking every Disney Plus MCU series so far. After that, stick around for an in depth discussion of the surprisingly improved second and final season of Iron Fist, wherein even Danny Rand slowly comes to realize he kind of sucks and Jessica Henwick's Colleen Wing is the true star and we meet yet another Marvel TV Ward. Watch along with us! Next episode's title is Daredevil S3 (available to stream on Disney+), which will be covered in our episode later this month.

Welcome to Episode 145 of Broadcast Geeks! On this podcast we discuss all things geek and nerd related, provided our DVR's have space and our Netflix accounts are our own and none others. This week, the Geeks (Mitch, Nate, Jake and Matt Orrin) are joined by Evan Johnson & Reese Jenniges, back in the remains of El Charrito for another packed episode of geeky goodness. First off this week is Young Justice: Outsiders. This show, though filled with more characters than necessary, is great and is another reason why all geeks should have the DCU streaming service. It is great seeing all your favorite, and somewhat obscure, characters get time but it is also cool to see some of the newer, less known characters such as Halo. She is a bit OP though, as it seems that she is getting new powers daily! This made us wonder if maybe she will become a multi-colored Lantern. Do they even exist? The action on the show is pretty solid, especially when Batman infiltrates Santa Prisca island with the Outsiders. We jumped to Netflix next to talk about the Marvel properties, specifically Daredevil S3 and Punisher S2. Reese got caught up on a bunch of the shows, but we all agree that it doesn't get much better then S3 of DD, from multiple aspects. The fight scenes are top notch, as is the characters, but Vincent D'Onofrio steals it all with his Kingpin. We'd love a show just about him, told from his perspective. We'd talked about how relatable Punisher can be, and his second season. Did you think it was as good as S1? Mitch tells us the results from the online Magic poll, with the results being debatable. Is it JUST magic, or it is Science that we haven't been able to describe yet. Listen to some of us fight it out...verbally. We jump into Disney, and the announcement of a rated R Black Widow movie. An R rated Disney movie!?!? Could this set a precedent for future Marvel movies? Let's hope! You can send your feedback and show topic ideas to broadcastgeeks@gmail.com. Follow us on Twitter @broadcastgeeks. Please remember to subscribe, and review us, on iTunes and anywhere else you listen!

Our joy at a transcendent season of Daredevil is ruined by Netflix’s decision to cancel the show. Come with us for what turned out to be a funereal look at Season 3 of Daredevil, which may well be the second best season of Netflix’s mini-MCU. Here’s hoping that Nelson, Murdock, and Paige will find a new life somewhere on screen in the future.
Welcome to the place where I get to let my geek flag fly and talk about all things geek. Basically a fuzzy guide to life, the universe, and everything but mostly geek stuff. This is where I look into the world of geekdom and some geek news, comics, The Simpsons, Star Wars, and whatever randomness finds its way onto the recording. This level of the podcast includes fetishes from old shows like I Dream of Genie & Gilligan’s Island, thoughts on Supergirl S4, Arrow S7, The Flash S5, Man in the High Castle S3, Daredevil S3, and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina on Netflix, The Walking Deuce: Walking Dead Season 8 & 9, Disney announces the name of their new streaming service, Grant Morrison signs overall deal with Universal Cable Productions, the John Hurt 1984 movie, Batman confirmed by Cameron Monaghan for final Gotham season, Jeremy Irons is Playing Ozymandias in the Watchmen TV Series, the Lion King trailer, Jon Cryer cast as Lex Luthor on The CW’s Supergirl, DC Universe is currently doing a poll on whether Jason Todd should live or die, My Buddi page from Orion Pictures, Spider-Woman animated movie & Into the Spider-Verse sequel from Sony, Disney’s Galaxy’s Edge details, Shadow of Vader comic cancelled, Storybook cosmetics making lightsaber makeup brushes, Is the Obi Wan movie still happening?, Diego Luna reports Lucasfilm will use de-aging for his TV show, Carl Weathers reportedly has shot scenes for The Mandalorian, Eternals movie character line-up, Robert Kirkman signs deal with Amazon for preapocalyptic show, and RIPs for SDCC President John Rogers & Spongebob creator Stephen Hillenberg. Turns out the man without fear is pretty worried. With Daredevil Season Three coming to a close, a few glaring questions remain:-Where does it rank in the pantheon of comic book TV?-Will we see Kingpin square-off against Holland in the MCU?-Will Season Four be a thing?Jake + Mitch breakdown the mechanics of the season, and what seems to be a really, really long origin story for Matt Murdock. And was it just them, or was the season finale more than a little underwhelming? Also, Jake goes vegan! So much is happening.
