The first film from Simon Pegg and Nick Frost's production company is 2018's Slaughterhouse Rulez, and they just happen to star in it as well. Slaughterhouse is a bonkers private school where all kinds of crazy stuff goes down. Not the least of which is a mutant monster outbreak, which our student and teacher protagonists must survive. It's very goofy, but there's no doubt plenty of fun to be had. And as always, we chat about the shows and movies we've been watching, as well as discuss your favourite zombie movies of all-time.

Frack yeah! We've got a new episode dedicated to the dangers of fracking (apparently)! We inadvertently picked two films that involve fracking and its consequences, namely unleashing sub-Earth dwelling creatures and raising the dead from their graves. Check out our reviews of Jim Jarmusch's zombie comedy The Dead Don't Die as well as the Simon Pegg and Nick Frost produced Slaughterhouse Rulez. Speaking of Pegg and Frost, we've also got some Horror Business about their next project. We also discuss a haunted witch prison in Real World Horror, plus some news on Ghostbusters 3, Candyman, and a Blair Witch video game. We also discuss Blumhouse's curious decision to make a horror movie based on the Magic 8 Ball toy. We also go on our usual rants and raves about tangentially related topics. So dig in to a new fracking episode of the one, the only Grave Plot Podcast.

Jamie Lee Curtis goes full Sarah Conner in a tale of vengeance against 61 year old Michael Myers who has managed to become faster and stronger than he was 40 years ago. In the Teeter we perform a magic act with Abrakadabra. The film stock is grainy, the zoom is sudden and steady, the makeup is loud and blue and you will have no idea what is going on when you listen to it (you should probably watch this one). Netflix brings us the fulcrum of the fulcrum, an honor only a few movies share. The movie stars Dan Stevens and is written and directed by the man behind the Raid franchise, Gareth Evans. Apostle is about a religious cult and a brother trying to save his sister from a gory and gruesome fate. The remake of Suspiria slots in at the totter position and everything about it looks awesome - all 2 hours and 32 minutes of it. Simon Pegg and Nick Frost return in Slaughterhouse Rulez which involves a Harry Potter esque private school and a sinkhole that leads to Hell. It's a jam packed lineup of the best the horror genre has to offer in October of 2018. Stick around for the round table where we talk Sisters Brothers, Battle of El Royale, First Man and A Star is Born.

In the Middle of the River".
