Dating with children no matter their ages can be challenging, whether you have kids or a man you're interested in has them, the decision to date after divorce or after the death of a spouse is definitely new and unfamiliar territory. If you're considering dating with kids, I want to address some common concerns and give you 13 practical tips that you can implement right away. These tips which are based on my personal experience of dating—and marrying—a man with five (yes, 5!) kids, and also based on what I have learned from experts who know all about blended families. I hope you are encouraged! To find out how you can work with me one-on-one, visit singleover30.net and click on the coaching link at the top of the page. I look forward to talking with you.
Dating a woman with a child or children can be very exciting, fulfilling, and challenging at the same time. Traditional dating allows two people to get to know one another, build a special bond and decide if starting a family is right for them. These are still some of the same steps that couples take when children are already involved, but with some added creativity and sensitivity. Though you may not be sure if you're ready to be a parent, know that respecting a woman's children is imperative for making a relationship work. At the end of the day, you want to be a supportive influence in her life. If you have no desire to move forward in a stable relationship and are only looking for a good time, be upfront, don't expect a lot of her time, and stay out of the children's lives. A revolving door of relationships is so unhealthy for the children. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/andre-peart/support

Dating is hard no matter how old you are or in what decade you first start. But imagine the time warp of dating in 2002 and dating in 2022! Twenty years in our world is like fifty of the past. Ali has witnessed the challenges some of her friends are facing as they re-enter the dating pool and feels their pain. Older? Yes. Wiser? Hmmm. Author and dating coach Chantal Heide shares her expertise starting with, yes, apps! But the conversation also hits dating scammers, dating with kids in the mix, being “set in your ways” or traumatized from past relationships, and her staunch belief in the No Kissing for Three Months Dating Rule. That's a toughie…but she backs it up. Let us know if you've tried it! If you have questions or guest suggestions, Ali would love to hear from you. Call or text her at (323) 364-6356. What's up Team!?!?! Welcome to yet another episode of The Mommy Daddy Time Podcast! This week Kristy sits down with our good friend Sierra. She's an amazing photographer, incredible mom, and amazing wife to her husband Danny. If we're being honest, most people picture themselves falling in love young, dating for a while, getting engaged, married, and eventually starting a family of their own. In fact, that's how Sierra always pictured it too. But then she met Danny. He had two kids from a prior relationship and didn't match the plan. Even though he didn't exactly fit the picture Sierra had in mind, they fell in love anyway. Now, a couple of years into their marriage, Sierra opens up to the team about the real-life pros and cons to dating someone with kids, blending a family, and what it looks like to build a strong Blended family. Inspired by a question from one of the team, we're talking through the truth about dating with kids, blending a family, and being a mom to kids that aren't biologically yours. If you have a questions you'd like talked about on the show, ask us hereask@mommydaddytimepodcast.comFollow us on social media:@mommydaddytimepodcastJoin the team by sending us an email saying, "I want to be a part of the team!
