After more than a year of being closed to the public, the most favorite entertainment show at Walt Disney World has reopened. Yes! The King has Returned! We look at the reopening of Festival of the Lion King to understand what is different about this revised show while exploring what has made it so special from the beginning. Along the way, we note the absence of the guest participation scenes (it's alright, you should already know what sound a giraffe makes by now) as well as the missing monkeys. Plus changes in choreography, especially in the romantic ballad, "Can You Feel the Love Tonight". Still, there's plenty of color, music, dance and spectacles as this Disney Animal Kingdom favorite returns. Dr. Vargas received her DVM from Tuskegee University in 1994. In 1996, she established her AAHA accredited Orchid Springs Animal Hospital in Winter Haven, FL. In 2009, she began her studies at Chi Institute, eventually garnering certifications in Acupuncture,Chinese Herbal Medicine, Food Therapy, and Tui Na. She is also a fellow of the American Academy of Veterinary Acupuncture. She is one of just two Certified Balance Method Acupuncture practitioners in the USA. She is a Certified Veterinary Spinal Manipulator (aka chiropractic care for pets). Dr. Vargas obtained her Master's Degree in TCVM at Chi Institute, where she works as a Teacher Assistant and Lecturer for the Chi USA, Latin America and Peru. She has also worked as a consultant for the Disney Animal Kingdom. Dr. Vargas is also a Certified Veterinary Journalist and a prolific author of both scientific and motivational articles. Dr. Vargas has lectured at the World TCVM Congress (2015, 2016, 2017,2018,2019), AAVA Conference (2017,2020), AVMA (2011), and the CbVMA (2017).

This week's episode is HUGE however it is because it is of Festival of the Lion King over in Disney's Animal Kingdom. I personally think this is the best show currently in Walt Disney World (yes even better then Nemo in the same park). As always enjoy the show.
