The Chargers made precision strikes on day one of free agency finding multiple staters at positions of need without spending top dollar. By bringing in RB Gus Edwards and TE Will Dissly, the team is following Jim Harbaugh's plan to be a more physical team and give Justin Herbert a running game. Dan and David recap a wild first day of NFL free agency and why Edwards is a perfect fit in the Chargers backfield. It has been a long time since Los Angeles has had a proficient blocking tight end and Dissly will be a key piece in the revamped rushing attack. The Chargers also found a way to bring back their most important internal free agent Alohi Gilman. The team rewarded one of their most impactful defenders, and found a way to fill another starting role at below market value. Hugh Millen joins Ian to react to the Seahawks moves we just saw happen as they announce they're parting ways with Jamal Adams, Quandre Diggs and Will Dissly. Hugh is open to the team bringing back Dissly and Diggs on restructured deals, but he didn't like the Adams acquisition from day 1. The price was simply too high for even the potential of his output, especially for a safety.
