Il y a 30 ans, Bob Sinclar et DJ Yellow transformaient leur passion pour la musique en Yellow Productions. Un label devenu culte de la French Touch. Après son passage au micro d'Antoine Dabrowski dans Place des Fêtes, impossible de ne pas demander à Bob Sinclar de prendre les platines en direct sur de la Folie L1.

C'est une sacrée histoire qu'on vous raconte ce soir dans Place des Fêtes. Celle d'une rencontre au comptoir d'un magasin de disques, une époque sans doute un peu révolue. Christophe Le Friant, fan de rap US, demande à Alain Hô, collectionneur de funk et de soul, de la musique dans la veine des productions d'A Tribe Called Quest. Il lui fera découvrir Roy Ayers… C'est le point de départ de 30 ans d'aventures musicales entre abstract hip hop, house, acid jazz, trip hop, dance qui emmèneront Bob Sinclar et DJ Yellow de Paris à Miami, en passant par New-York, Londres ou Ibiza. Ensemble ils ont créé, il y a 30 ans, Yellow Productions, un peu par hasard, beaucoup par passion, et les succès de DJ Cam, Kid Loco, Dimitri From Paris, Salomé de Bahia ou encore du projet Africanism, ont fait du label un des phares de la French Touch. Un livre, préfacé par Olivier Cachin et un coffret de 3 vinyles, viennent de sortir pour rappeler l'immense contribution des deux compères à une musique qui se joue des frontières géographiques et des tendances. En fin d'émission, notre chroniqueur écrans, Olivier Forest, nous dit tout le bien qu'il pense de FOTOGENICO, le film de Marcia Romano et Benoît Sabatier.

В этом мне поможет виниловый экземпляр ремикса Bart Van Wissen на трек Music 4 Me, который релизился в свое время на Extrema.Ремикс Ника Кея на всем известный To The Top от DJ Yellow и Astrid Suryanto является моим любимым из всей пачки ремиксов, сделанных на данное произведение. Очень проникновенно, глубоко и со-вкусом все сделал Ник.Мечтательный трек Memories Of A Picture от болгарина Kliment качает с первой и до последней минуты. Вышла пластинка в свое время на Iboga и возможно для кого-то именно она станет джокером программы, так как сделан трек действительно с умом. Такой саунд я люблю называть качающим, в данном случае это самое подходящее определение звучания для Memories Of A Picture.Дальше идет мечтательный трек Long Distance от канадцев Adam K & Soha. Очень душевный трек со своей изюминкой, который релизился на Fective Records в начале 2008 года.Финишная прямая сегодня за Daniel Portman, который потрясно ремикшировал The Fall от Chris Reece. Эта музыка у меня снова ассоциируется с Испанией. Шикарное исполнение, великолепный басс, ритмика и синты на высшем уровне. В рубрике Bonus Track испанцы Simon & Shaker с легендарной пластинкой Freshness. Рекординг T.U.S.O.M. выпустил данную пластинку в далеком 2005 году. Фирменные tribal сбивки и великолепная гитарная партия как нельзя лучше сочетаются в данном произведении. Если бы нужно было описать эту музыку одним словом, я бы назвал ее темпераментной. LUVCAST 013 comes from two aspiring producers, passionate DJs and true vinyl lovers in the heart of Vienna. Sebastian Oberst and Andreas Buchner (in the simplest manner, calling themselves “Oberst & Buchner”) have become an integral part of the viennese music scene in a matter of three years, with being part of the popular ‘Klub Fraktal’ nights. And because they are nice & talented chaps, our friends at “Schönbrunner Perlen” have released the Oberst & Buchner debut EP ‘Today I Feel’ in 2012. Supporting local artists has become unpopular, which is plain wrong, and we don’t want to be part of this trend! So we were curious to see what they’d come up with when asked to do a mix for our Luvcast series, and we are not dissapointed! Twenty First Sync Forward Podcast with Tiago Fragateiro. Tiago started his career 15 years ago, as manager and music director in the best clubs in Porto, always promoting and pushing the upcoming fresh, national and international, artists. He jumped to the booth around the year 1998, but took it more seriously like 5 or 6 years ago, when begun to be requested for the best portuguese clubs. Next step, and the most important one, was the professional connection with his "old" friend Alain Ho, also known as Dj Yellow, when the idea of working together as Mindz Kontrol Ultra came up. This fusion with his number one reference in music, helped push things in a deeper, minimal and stripped back classic house direction in a proper clubbing way.

Rod B. & Mareis bring you the Miami Sessions @ Miami Underground Movement Paolo Mojo is firmly established as a leading light on the underground house music scene with a large global following and a consistent production schedule that keeps him in demand all over the world. A true ‘international’, there are not many countries that haven’t had a touch of the Mojo magic these days. He's earned himself a formidable global fan base thanks to his hectic schedule…Womb in Tokyo, Ministry of Sound in London, Avalon in Los Angeles, Warung Beach in Brazil, Wonderland in Ibiza, Chinese Laundry in Sydney and Zouk in Singapore are just some of the venues he graces consistently. It’s all built on the back of a consistent, high profile discography. 2011 starts with a bang with the Essential Selection playlisted ‘Mmmm Daaa’ snapped up by legendary house label Strictly Rhythm for a spring release. His much hyped ‘All Night, Alright’ is to be released on hot Italian label 303 Lovers, home of Manuel De La Mare and Alex Kenji, whose remix of the track is under development. Finally his ‘Welcome To the Factory’ sampling track of the same name has been personally approved by Angel Moraes, and is set for a spring release on Dj Chus’ Stereo Music. 2010 saw successful singles released on Noir (Crazy For You) Hysterical (Disco Kiss) and Younan Music (He's The Man). Remixes of Saeed Younan and Rainer Weichold’s for German label Great Stuff followed, as did his well received Foxhunt / Soca! single. Elsewhere, his track 1983 on Eric Prydz’ Pryda Friends has become a true club classic. He’s also released tracks on Pryda and Mouseville (the only ‘outside’ artist to do so) and a varied and vast list of other labels.. Bedrock, Saved, NRK, Cr2, Toolroom, Renaissance, Great Stuff, Positiva, EQ Recordings, Factomania, Little Mountain, Curfew Nervous, Ego Records.. the list goes on. At the heart of his work lies his own label Oosh, which over the course of the last three years has landed him two BBC Essential New Tunes and two Beatport overall top ten hits. Pete Tong also named ‘JMJ’ (2007) and ‘Sirena’ (2008) his ‘top tunes of the summer. The label has expanded to include the cream of house and techno producers such as Wally Lopez, Rene Amesz, DJ Yellow, Noir, Jim Rivers, Juan Sanchez, King Unique, Alan Fitzpatrick and Saeed Younan and the first Paolo Mojo ‘Ten To One’ compilation release will follow in February 2011. His associated podcast Ooshcast has become one of the most popular downloads around since its launch in December 2009. Its no surprise then, that he was name checked as one of the hottest producers of the year in 2008 by Pete Tong on BBC Radio One, and has scored two well received Essential mixes for Radio One already.
