It was a weekend of two halves - Chelsea, Spurs and Fulham all came back from two goals down at half time...only Fulham didn't hang on. As Man City wobbled they looked to have lost their swagger - Gregor Robertson thinks it is clear why. Chelsea came back to win, but why did they make so many changes in the first place? There was plenty of moaning about VAR but if it was taken away would fans be accepting or would the referee abuse just get worse? Alyson Rudd thinks Alexander Isak could be a waste of money, as Wirtz and Ekitike shine, can they really play all three?Lastly who is the Premier League's most versatile player?Tom Clarke is joined by Alyson Rudd, Gregor Robertson and Pete Rutzler Hosted on Acast. We then head to a chaotic night at Stamford Bridge, where Chelsea were booed off at half-time with West Ham two goals to the good. Liam Rosenior's side mounted an impressive second-half comeback to win 3–2, but Riath asks: do you applaud a man for cleaning up his own mess?Next, we're joined by Adam Collins to unpack the news that England cricketer Harry Brook lied about his altercation with a bouncer in a Wellington nightclub last year, now admitting he claimed to be alone in order to protect teammates. Finally, we break down Liverpool's 4–1 Anfield win over Newcastle, as Florian Wirtz impressed and Hugo Ekitike haunted his long-term admirers with a ruthless first-half double.Sunday Supplement is a Sky Sports podcast. As we approach the halfway point of the season things are starting to shape up in the Premier League.Liverpool beat Spurs 2-1, in a game that featured two red cards, a broken leg, a classic Richarlison moment and a quite vulgar celebration from Ekitike.Aston Villa made it 10 wins in a row in all comps with a win over Man United, but once again after the game, most of the talk was about how Man United are looking better every time they lose. The Evan Ferguson-meter has swung back to NOT GOOD ENOUGH for Gasperini as the weekly see-saw continues.Pep Guardiola gleefully told the press how we was planning on ruining the Man City players rare Christmas off.Support the showWant to support us and also get some sweet bonus exclusive pods?
