Dat zijn een op de vijf mensen die daar werken. Dreigt de chemiesector in ons land te verdwijnen? “Chemiebedrijven hebben geen reserves meer om schokken op te vangen”, zegt economieredacteur Wim Winckelmans. “Een paar jaar geleden had BASF nog een buffer van 9 miljard. El Wrexham Association Football Club, durante décadas relegado a las divisiones más humildes del fútbol inglés, vio su destino transformarse en 2021 cuando los actores de Hollywood Ryan Reynolds y Rob McElhenney tomaron las riendas del club. Desde entonces, el equipo ha ascendido desde la quinta división hasta la Championship, la segunda categoría inglesa, a solo un paso de la Premier League. Reynolds y McElhenney han cultivado un vínculo cercano con los jugadores y la afición, buscando consolidar un proyecto que, según el propio Reynolds, “respeta la historia y la identidad del club”. Hoy, ese sueño recibe un nuevo impulso con la entrada de Apollo Sports Capital, la división deportiva del fondo de private equity Apollo, que ha adquirido una participación minoritaria en el club, valorado en 415 millones de euros. Apollo, que recientemente compró al Atlético de Madrid, se incorpora a Wrexham como socio financiero estratégico, sin asumir el control mayoritario. Su inversión tendrá un impacto más allá del terreno de juego: financiará la remodelación del estadio STōK Cae Ras, incluida la nueva tribuna Kop, y respaldará el ambicioso Proyecto Wrexham Gateway, un plan de regeneración urbana que busca transformar la conectividad y la economía local.

De verdubbeling van de Belgische vliegtaks – van 5 naar 10 euro per ticket vanaf 2027 – is de druppel voor de lagenkostenmaatschappij. De impact op Charleroi zou enorm zijn. “Ryanair zorgt voor 80 procent van alle vluchten”, benadrukt Korneel. “Als vijf toestellen verdwijnen, zullen er veel banen sneuvelen.” Kan Ryanair onze regering ertoe drijven om die vliegtaks te verlagen? Vai kāds māk atbildēt uz jautājumu, kad radusies mūzika? Ko saka arheoloģiskie atklājumi? Kādi ir senākie mūzikas instrumenti un kāpēc cilvēkam ir šī neapturamā vēlme radīt skaņu un klausīties to? Par mūzikas pirmsākumiem un skaņas klātbūtni cilvēka dzīvē raidījumā Zināmais nezināmajā saruna ar etnomuzikologu, Latvijas Universitātes profesoru Valdi Muktupāvelu un Latvijas Universitātes Uztveres un kognitīvo sistēmu laboratorijas vadītāju, profesoru Jurģi Šķilteru. Mūzikai šajā ziņā vislielākais spēks." -- Zinātnes ziņas par nozīmīgu atradumu Aizputē - atrasts matainā mamuta kaula fragments Kurzemē, Aizputē, senatnē pilnīgi noteikti klīduši mamuti, un šobrīd izdevies noteikt vecumu pirms aptuveni simt gadiem atrasta mamuta kaula fragmentam. Pašlaik tas ir īstens Aizputes Novadpētniecības muzeja dārgums. Te gan jāpiebilst, ka kaula fragments varētu būt nonācis muzejā pagājušā gadsimta 30. gadu otrajā pusē. Kā vēstīts žurnālā “IR”, vēlāk sekojusi muzeja slēgšana 50. gados, priekšmetu izceļošana uz Liepāju, Ventspili un Kuldīgu, tad atkal muzeja atjaunošana Aizputē, un pagājušajā gadā kaula fragments no Ventspils, tā teikt, atgriezies “mājās” Aizputē. Un tad atkal apstākļu sakritības rezultātā tas nonācis arheologa Mārča Kalniņa uzmanības lokā, un kopā ar citiem ekspertiem nolemts noteikt kaula vecumu ar radioaktīvā oglekļa datēšanas metodi. Tuvākā vieta šādu analīžu veikšanai ir Viļņas laboratorija Lietuvā, un tagad var teikt - mamuts, kam piederējis kaula fragments, dzīvojis pirms apmēram 43 tūkstošiem gadu. Tas ir krietni senāk, nekā Aizputes muzeja darbiniekiem šķitis. Bet kas vēl interesanti - laikā, kad Aizputes apkārtnē mituši mamuti, 180 kilometru attālumā uz dienvidiem - Karaļaučos, mūsdienu Krievijas teritorijā, - bijuši iedzīvotāji. Šobrīd arheologu Mārci Kalniņu interesē, vai cilvēki šajā laikā uzturējušies arī Latvijas teritorijā.

Stāsta mākslas vēsturniece, Latvijas Nacionālā mākslas muzeja izstāžu kuratore Baiba Vanaga; pārraides producente – Inta Zēgnere Latvijas Nacionālā mākslas muzeja galvenā ēka 20. gadsimta sākumā celta Rīgas pilsētas mākslas muzeja vajadzībām. Šis muzejs tika izveidots uz 1868. gadā dibinātās Pilsētas gleznu galerijas (Städtische Gemäldegalerie) bāzes, un tā krājuma pamatu veidoja no Rīgas tirgotāja Domeniko de Robiani (Domenico de Robbiani) iegādātā mākslas darbu kolekcija un vairāki nozīmīgi dāvinājumi. Kopš 1872. gada pilsētai piederošie mākslas darbi tika izstādīti kopā ar nesen dibinātās Rīgas Mākslas biedrības (Rigascher Kunstverein) kolekciju. Galerijā lielākoties bija uzkrātas un apskatāmas Rietumeiropā iepriekšējos gadsimtos radītās gleznas un ļoti maz vietējo autoru mākslas darbu. Gatavojoties Rīgas pilsētas mākslas muzeja atklāšanai 1905. gadā, tā direktors Vilhelms Neimanis (Wilhelm Neumann) izvērtēja pilsētai un Rīgas Mākslas biedrībai piederošo kolekciju mākslas darbu kvalitāti. Mazliet vairāk nekā pusi no kopumā 492 priekšmetiem viņš atzina par muzeja necienīgiem. Vērtīgākie mākslas darbi no abām kolekcijām tika izvietoti muzeja pastāvīgajā ekspozīcijā un iekļauti katalogos, bet pārējie nonāca glabātuvē vai darba telpās pie sienām. Neliela daļa Rīgas pilsētai piederošo mākslas darbu tika atsavināti, atsevišķus atdodot atpakaļ dāvinātāju pēctečiem, bet vairākus pārdodot. Tā, piemēram, 1906. gadā piecas no pilsētai piederošajām gleznām Neimanis piedāvāja Berlīnes un Brandenburgas reģiona vēsturei veltītajam Merkišes muzejam (Märkisches Museum). Tās bija 19. gadsimta sākumā Rīgā strādājušā Karla Traugota Fehelma (Carl Traugott Fechhelm) gleznas, kurās attēloti vairāki Berlīnes pilsētas laukumi, tāpēc uzrunātais muzejs tās labprāt iegādājās, samaksājot vienu tūkstoti marku. Uzskatot, ka ekspozīciju veidošanā "rūpēm par vietējo mākslu, īpaši mazākos reģionālajos un pilsētu muzejos, ir jābūt prioritātei", jaunizveidotā muzeja krājuma veidošanā Neimanis koncentrējās uz Baltijas izcelsmes 19. gadsimta un 20. gadsimta sākuma mākslinieku daiļrades atspoguļojumu. Darbojoties pilsētas piešķirtā budžeta ierobežojošajos rāmjos, viņš mērķtiecīgi centās iegādāties Latvijā un Igaunijā dzimušo mākslinieku darbus, īpaši no tiem autoriem, kas izpelnījušies starptautisku atpazīstamību. No Baltijas mākslinieku izstādes par godu Rīgas pilsētas mākslas muzeja atvēršanai 1905. gadā kolekcijai tika nopirkti divi darbi – Gerharda fon Rozena (Gerhard von Rosen) glezna “Pavasara ainava” (1905) un Jaņa Rozentāla kompozīcija “No pļavas (No darba)” (1903), kas arī mūsdienās tiek augstu vērtēta un ir skatāma Latvijas Nacionālā mākslas muzeja ekspozīcijā. Visvairāk pirkumu veikts Vietējo mākslinieku darbu izstādē par labu Sarkanā Krusta žēlsirdīgo māsu apvienībai, kas notika 1915. gada pavasarī un pēc kuras muzeja krājums papildināts ar 15 vienībām, to vidū, piemēram, Lūcijas Mīramas (Lucie Miram) kluso dabu “Dzeltenās rozes” (ne vēlāk par 1915) un Jāņa Roberta Tillberga pilsētas ainavu “Rīga” (1912). Kolekcijas papildināšanā prioritāte bija tiem autoriem, kuru darbu krājumā vēl nebija vai kuru veikums tajā bija atspoguļots nepietiekami. Tomēr bija atsevišķi autori, no kuriem iegādātas vairākas gleznas. Piemēram, no Igaunijā dzimušā reliģisko ainu gleznotāja, Diseldorfas Mākslas akadēmijas profesora Eduarda fon Gebharta (Eduard von Gebhardt), ko Neimanis uzskatīja par “izcilāko no Baltijas provincēm cēlušos mākslinieku”, muzejs kopumā nopirkta trīs darbus. Turklāt viens no pirkumiem kļuva par dārgāko muzeja agrīnajā vēsturē, un 1913. gadā no pilsētas budžeta pat tika piešķirts ārkārtas finansējums, lai divu gadu laikā apmaksātu Gebharta gleznas “Pazudušais dēls” (1908) iegādi par vairāk nekā deviņiem tūkstošiem rubļu. Muzeja zīmējumu un iespiedgrafikas kolekcijas Neimaņa vadības laikā tika papildinātas daudz bagātīgāk par glezniecības kolekciju. To noteica gan direktora īpašā interese par grafiku, gan arī darbu uz papīra salīdzinoši zemākās cenas. Muzejs iegādājās visu 20. gadsimta sākuma zināmāko dažādās grafikas tehnikās strādājošo baltiešu darbus – visvairāk iepirktas Morica fon Grīnevalta (Moritz von Gruenewaldt) akvatintas un kokgriezumi un Gerharda Kīzericka (Gerhard Kieseritzky) oforti, no māksliniecēm – Alises Dmitrijevas (Alice Dmitrijew) krāsainie kokgriezumi. Kolekciju papildināja arī dāvinājumi. Tā, piemēram, 1909. gadā muzejs iegādājās nesen mirušā Artura Baumaņa kompozīciju “Jauns līvu kareivis” (1889) un vēl astoņas studijas, bet pārējo mākslinieka atstāto radošo mantojumu – vairāk nekā astoņus simtus zīmējumu, skiču un studiju – saņēma kā dāvinājumu. Šo kolekciju iepazīšanai tika iekārtots īpašs Grafikas kabinets, kurp apmeklētāji divas reizes nedēļā varēja doties un līdzīgi kā bibliotēkā lūgt izsniegt apskatei interesējošos mākslas darbus. Muzeja krājuma veidošanā vēl viena no prioritātēm Neimanim bija ģipša nolējumu kolekcijas veidošana īpaši projektētajai Skulptūru zālei. Tās piepildīšanai direktors mērķtiecīgi atlasīja un pasūtīja mākslas vēsturē nozīmīgu Senās Grieķijas, Senās Romas un renesanses skulptūru kopijas, kas mūsdienās skatāmas Muzeju krātuves ekspozīcijā “Skulptūru mežs”. Var pārmest, ka Neimanis muzeja krājumam iegādājās salīdzinoši maz latviešu mākslinieku darbu, īpaši no 20. gadsimta sākumā strādājošajiem autoriem, un pavisam nedaudz no mākslinieču paveiktā. Jādomā, ka to pamatā ietekmēja direktora pētnieciskā interese par iepriekšējo gadsimtu mākslu, norobežošanās no aktuālās mākslas izvērtēšanas un diezgan konservatīvā gaume, nevis noraidošā attieksme pret latviešiem vai sievietēm. Aktualitātes analizē politologs Arnis Latišenko un Latvijas Radio ārzemju ziņu žurnālists Uldis Ķezberis. Vitkofa-Dmitrijeva pakts? Divdesmit astoņu punktu Ukrainas miera plānu, kuru, kā izrādās, nu jau kādu laiku slepenībā sacerējuši Baltā nama un Kremļa pārstāvji, pagājušajā nedēļā, visdrīzāk, medijiem atklāja tā galvenais autors no Maskavas puses, Putina īpašais sūtnis ārvalstu investīciju un ekonomiskās sadarbības jautājumos Kirils Dmitrijevs. Viņa partneris no Savienoto Valstu puses bijis prezidenta Trampa īpašais sūtnis Tuvajos Austrumos un arī īpašais sūtnis miera misijām Stīvs Vitkofs. Produkts, ko šie divi vīri ar pamatīgu naudas rausēju, bet praktiski nekādu diplomātu pieredzi radījuši, izraisījis gūzmu komentāru, kuros jautājuma zīme ir teju biežāk sastopamais interpunkcijas elements. Kas domāts ar „pēdējo trīsdesmit gadu neskaidrībām” Krievijas un Ukrainas starpā, kuras līdz ar vienošanās noslēgšanu tikšot uzskatītas par atrisinātām? Kā Savienotās Valstis iedomājas būt vidutājs dialogā starp Krieviju un NATO, pašas būdamas Ziemeļatlantijas alianses dalībvalsts? Kā varētu izpausties tā 50 procentu peļņa, kuru Savienotās Valstis vēlas saņemt no Ukrainas atjaunošanas pasākumiem, kuriem tiktu izmantoti simts miljardi Krievijas iesaldēto līdzekļu? Ko autori saprot ar plānā piesaukto „nacistisko ideoloģiju un darbību”, kas tikšot „noraidīta un aizliegta” abās karojošajās valstīs? Šo jautājumu virkni varētu turpināt vēl gana ilgi. Būtiskākais, kas tūdaļ lika atskanēt skeptiskām balsīm, bija plānā paredzētā Krievijas vēl neieņemtās Donbasa daļas atdošana Maskavai, Ukrainas atteikšanās no dalības NATO un tās bruņoto spēku apjoma ierobežošana, kaut arī līdz diezgan apjomīgajiem sešsimt tūkstošiem militārpersonu. Tās ir prasības, kuru pieņemšana no Kijivas puses grūti iedomājama. Taču Donalds Tramps pagājušajā piektdienā, 21. novembrī, bija visai kategorisks – Ukrainai nāksies pieņemt šo plānu vai arī turpmāk iztikt bez Vašingtonas atbalsta. Prezidents Zelenskis, tajā pašā vakarā, vēršoties ar drūmu uzrunu pie līdzpilsoņiem, iezīmēja Ukrainas izvēli: piekāpties kapitulatīvajām Krievijas prasībām vai zaudēt savu nozīmīgāko sabiedroto – Vašingtonu. Tomēr, notikumiem attīstoties, situācijas kopainā iezīmējušies nedaudz cerīgāki toņi. Pēc sarunām Ženēvā, kurās ASV delegāciju vadīja valsts sekretārs Marko Rubio, bet Ukrainas delegāciju – prezidenta Zelenska biroja vadītājs Andrijs Jermaks, Rubio paziņoja, ka rezultāts esot ļoti nozīmīgs. Līdz pirmdienai arī no Baltā nama saimnieka retorikas bija pazudis iepriekšējais kategoriskums, tai skaitā agrākā prasība Kijivai piekrist piedāvājumam līdz 27. novembrim. 25. novembrī ierasti skaļš optimisms skanēja Vašingtonas izteikumos arī par sarunām, kuras ar Krievijas un Ukrainas pārstāvjiem Abū Dabī ved ASV armijas ministrs Deniels Driskols, savukārt šodien Maskavā būtu kārtējo reizi jāierodas Stīvam Vitkofam. Zīmīgi arī tas, ka vakar Marko Rubio pirmo reizi ar savu klātbūtni pagodinājis t.s. „Labās gribas koalīcijas” videokonferenci par Ukrainas kara un miera jautājumiem. G20 samits Johannesburgā Starpvaldību forums G20 tapa 1999. gadā ar galveno mērķi veicināt globālo finanšu stabilitāti. Kopš tā laika pamattēmu loks paplašinājies, ietverot arī tādas jomas kā planētas ekoloģija, ilgtspēja, ekonomiskā izaugsme un nevienlīdzības mazināšana. Forumā ietilpst deviņpadsmit dalībvalstis, kā arī kolektīvie dalībnieki – Eiropas Savienība un kopš pagājušā gada arī Āfrikas Savienība. Līdz ar to netieši G20 pārstāvēti vēl vairāki desmiti valstu, tai skaitā Latvija. Vienīgais kritērijs dalībai ir valsts ekonomikas apjoms, un G20 individuālo dalībvalstu bilance šobrīd aptver 85% no pasaules kopprodukta, 75 % no starptautiskās tirdzniecības, 56 % no pasaules iedzīvotāju skaita un 60 % no planētas sauszemes platības. Kopš 2008. gada dalībvalstu pārstāvji pulcējas vismaz reizi gadā, un tradicionāli valstis šeit tiek pārstāvētas valstu vai valdības galvu līmenī. Lai arī G20 nav kādu lēmumu ieviešanas mehānismu, tā rezolūcijās deklarētajam ir nenoliedzams svars un prestižs, sevišķi jau globālajā finanšu un ekonomikas jomā. Divdesmitais G20 samits pagājušās nedēļas nogalē pirmo reizi notika Āfrikā – Dienvidāfrikas Republikas lielākajā pilsētā Johannesburgā. Dienvidāfrikas kā prezidējošās valsts definētais samita kredo bija „Solidaritāte. Vienlīdzība. Ilgtspēja”. Preses visvairāk apspriestais temats ir šīgada samita ignorēšana no Savienoto Valstu puses. Oficiāli deklarētais iemesls ir nepatika pret politiku, kādu Dienvidāfrikas valdība realizē attiecībā pret eiropiešu izcelsmes pilsoņu minoritāti. Jādomā gan, ka iemesls ir arī Baltā nama saimnieka attieksme pret Dienvidāfrikas definētajām foruma prioritātēm – klimata pārmaiņu problemātiku un nevienlīdzības mazināšanu starp ekonomiski attīstītajām un attīstības valstīm. Solidarizējoties ar savu sabiedroto, samitā neieradās arī Argentīnas prezidents Havjers Milejs. Situāciju vēl pikantāku padarīja fakts, ka Savienotās Valstis ir nākamā samita rīkotājas, un Johannesburgas notikuma noslēgumā Vašingtonas pārstāvim vajadzēja simboliski pārņemt prezidentūras stafeti. Taču Dienvidāfrikas prezidents Sirils Ramafosa atteicās nodot prezidentūras regālijas kādam vēstniecības ierēdnim, kuru to saņemšanai bija gatava nosūtīt Trampa administrācija. Jautājums tikšot nokārtots vēlāk. Attieksmi pret šo situāciju samitā viskonkrētāk definēja Kanādas premjerministrs Marks Kārnijs, sakot, ka pasaule varot panākt progresu arī bez Savienoto Valstu piedalīšanās.     Sagatavoja Eduards Liniņš.

Atklājas arvien jauni fakti un liecības tā dēvētajā Epstīna lietā. Dzimumnoziedznieks, kurš Trampa pirmās prezidentūras laikā tika arestēts un cietumā izdarīja pašnāvību biju draudzējies ar virkni politikā un sabiedrībā zināmiem cilvēkiem, un arvien vairāk rodas jautājumi par viņa saistību ar pašu Donaldu Trampu. Vakar gan Kongress, gan Senāts praktiski vienbalsīgi nobalsoja, ka visas lietas materiāli ir jāpublisko. Aktualitātes analizē Rīgas Stradiņa universitātes pasniedzēji - Austrumeiropas politikas pētījumu centra pētniece Elīna Vrobļevska un Latvijas Ārpolitikas institūta pētnieks Sandis Šrāders. Epstīna lieta radījusi pamatīgu viļņošanos ASV 18. novembra vakarā ASV Kapitolijā varēja redzēt tādu vienprātību, kāda tur nebija novērota jau sen. Izņemot vienu kongresmeni no Republikāņiem, visi pārējie vienprātīgi balsoja par likumprojektu, kas uzliek par pienākumu Tieslietu ministrijai publiskot visus neklasificētos ierakstus, dokumentus, sarakstes un izmeklēšanas materiālus, saistītus ar Džefriju Epstīnu. Tūlīt pat balsojums sekoja arī Senātā, un tur visi senatori balsoja par. Epstīns bija amerikāņu uzņēmējs, kas bija izveidojis plašu seksuālās ekspluatācijas tīklu Savienotajās Valstīs. Pēc tam, kad viņš otrreiz tika arestēts, viņš 2019.gadā cietumā izdarīja pašnāvību. Vismaz tāda ir oficiālā versija, par kuru gan vairumam amerikāņu ir šaubas. Bet izmeklētāji gadu gaitā ir savākuši dažādus dokumentus un liecības, kas var mest ēnu uz daudziem, jo ir pamatotas aizdomas, ka seksuālo pakalpojumu izmantošanā ir piedalījusies virkne sabiedrībā pazīstamu cilvēku. Epstīna otrais arests un pašnāvība notika Donalda Trampa pirmās prezidentūras laikā, un kopš tā laika interese par lietu nav rimusi. Patiesībā to ir aktīvi uzturējis arī pats Donalds Tramps, kurš pirmsvēlēšanu kampaņā apgalvoja, ka izmeklēšana ir atklājusi daudz nepatīkamu liecību par Epstīna saistību ar demokrātu politiķiem, tāpēc solīja, ka, viņam kļūstot par prezidentu, viņš visu cels atklātībā. Tomēr pēc ievēlēšanas Tramps apklusa. Toties publiskajā telpā parādījās arvien jaunas norādes, ka ar Epstīnu ir draudzējušies arī republikāņi, tajā skaitā savulaik pats Donalds Tramps. Notikumos aktīvi iesaistījās ASV kongresmeņi, un šajā rudenī kopumā ir publiskoti ap 30 tūkstoš dažādi dokumenti no lietas materiāliem, kas raisījuši vēl lielāku interesi. Viens no lielākajiem zaudētājiem līdz šim bijis britu princis Endrū, jo arī viņš ir vainots meiteņu seksuālā izmantošanām. Pirms mēneša viņam tika atņemti visi karaliskie tituli. Tomēr par Trampa attiecībām ar Epstīnu neskaidrību ir vairāk nekā gribētos. Tramps ir piedalījies Epstīna rīkotās pieņemšanās, ir savulaik arī nosūtījis viņam dzimšanas dienas dāvanu, taču vēlāk abi sastrīdējušies. Īsi pirms aresta publiskotajās sarakstēs redzams, ka Epstīns Trampu nodēvē par sliktu un bīstamu cilvēku. „Neviens nav tik slikts kā Tramps. Nevienas pieklājīgas šūnas viņa ķermenī…” tā raksta Epstīns. Pēdējās nedēļas laikā atklātībā nākusi Epstīna vēstule Eiropas Padomes ģenerālsekretāram, kurā viņš lūdz palīdzību sazināties ar Krievijas ārlietu ministru Sergeju Lavrovu. Vēstule ir sūtīta pirms Donalda Trampa un Vladimira Putina tikšanās Helsinkos. Tajā Epstīns liek noprast, ka viņam ir informācija par Trampu, kas varētu ieinteresēt Krieviju. Vai šāda tikšanās ir notikusi, nav zināms, taču ir vairākas norādes, kas liek domāt, ka Epstīna cilvēkiem ir bijuši arī citi kontakti ar Krievijas cilvēkiem. Kā zināms, Tramps tikšanās laikā ar Putinu bija ārkārtīgi labvēlīgs pret diktatoru, un daudzi izsaka aizdomas, ka Krievijai ir kompromats pret Trampu, kas liek ASV prezidentam būt labam pret Kremli. Kopš atkārtotas ievēlēšanas Donalds Tramps ir pretojies Epstīna lietas materiālu publiskošanai. Tomēr atklātībā nonākot arvien jaunām liecībām, neapmierinātība pieauga arī republikāņu pusē. Kad kļuva skaidrs, ka Kongress šonedēļ balsos par materiālu publiskošanu jebkurā gadījumā, Tramps beidzot mainīja savu retoriku un aicināja visus republikāņu kongresmeņus likumprojektu atbalstīt, sakot, ka šīm demokrātu spēlītēm vienreiz jāpieliek punkts. Tiesa, kā norāda paši kongresmeņi, neviens neliedza Trampam jau līdz šim uzdot ministrijai publiskot visus failus, un tam nevajadzēja parlamenta balsojumu. Tagad prezidentam ir jāparaksta likumprojekts, un ja viņš to izdarīs, tad tuvākajā laikā publiskajā telpā nonāks informācija, kas daudzos raisa milzu interesi. Sagatavoja Aidis Tomsons Prezidenta Zelenska nelāgie paziņas Korupcijas skandāls, kas pagājušajā nedēļā izvērtās Ukrainā, skar augstākā līmeņa valsts amatpersonas un arī prezidentam Volodimiram Zelenskim pietuvinātus ļaudis. Daudzviet notiekošais jau tiek dēvēts par nopietnāko un varas stabilitātei draudošāko korupcijas skandālu Zelenska prezidentūras laikā. Pirmdien, 17. novembrī, Ukrainas nacionālais antikorupcijas birojs un Speciālā antikorupcijas prokuratūra publiskoja informāciju par vairāku personu arestēšanu sakarā ar piecpadsmit mēnešus ilgā izmeklēšanas procesā atklātu korupcijas shēmu valsts enerģētikas sektorā. Privātuzņēmumi, kuri veikuši būvdarbus nacionālajai atomenerģijas kompānijai „Enerhoatom” piederošajās kodolspēkstacijās, maksājuši shēmas organizētājiem 10–15% no līgumu summas, pretējā gadījumā riskējot zaudēt pasūtījumus. Korupcijas apkarotāji arestējuši piecas personas un tur aizdomās vēl septiņas. Viens no arestētajiem ir kādreizējais vicepremjers Oleksijs Černišovs, kurš pirms tam pasludināts par aizdomās turamo vēl citā korupcijas lietā, kas saistīta ar kukuļņemšanu apmaiņā pret attīstītājiem izdevīgu zemes gabalu novērtējumu laikā, kad viņš bijis Ukrainas kopienu un teritoriju attīstības ministrs. Starp aizdomās turamajiem esot arī agrākā enerģētikas ministra Hermana Haluščenko bijušais padomnieks Ihors Miroņjuks, kompānijas „Enerhoatom” drošības dienesta priekšnieks Dmitro Basovs un citi. Kā galvenā persona no esošās valdības, uz kuru šī korupcijas skandāla sakarā krīt aizdomu ēna, ir pašreizējais tieslietu ministrs Haluščenko, kurš ilgāk nekā četrus gadus ieņēma enerģētikas ministra posteni premjerministra Denisa Šmihaļa kabinetā. Pagājušajā trešdienā, 12. novembrī, prezidents Zelenskis aicināja Haluščenko, kā arī pašreizējo enerģētikas ministri Svitlanu Hrinčuku demisionēt, ko abi arī nekavējušies darīt. Haluščenko pie tam paziņojis, ka par vainīgu sevi neuzskatot un esot gatavs aizstāvēties tiesā. Vakar abu ministru demisiju bija jāapstiprina parlamentam – Ukrainas Augstākajai Radai –, taču eksprezidenta Petro Porošenko vadītās frakcijas „Eiropas solidaritāte” deputāti fiziski bloķēja parlamenta tribīni, neļaujot Radai nobalsot. Porošenko grupējums pieprasa visa premjerministres Jūlijas Sviridenko kabineta demisiju. Starp korupcijas shēmā iesaistītajiem ir arī uzņēmējs Timurs Mindičs, kuram pagātnē bijuši visai cieši sakari ar prezidentu Zelenski. Mindičam pieder puse no īpašuma daļām producēšanas kompānijā „Studija Kvartāls 95”, kuras producētajos šovos tagadējais prezidents savulaik veidoja savu televīzijas karjeru. Kā tiek ziņots, Mindičs pametis Ukrainu 10. novembra rītā, dažas stundas pirms viņa dzīvoklī ieradušies Antikorupcijas biroja darbinieki. Sagatavoja Eduards Liniņš
