Will Perry is joined by Jacqui Oatley, Sam Dean and Jack Pitt-Brooke to reflect on the weekend's sporting action. We begin with Mo Salah, asking whether his twenty-minute appearance against Brighton marked a Liverpool farewell before his departure for AFCON. Next, we turn to Arsenal's late home win over Wolves, with Jack asking whether their recent habit of conceding late goals reveals a vulnerability we didn't see earlier in the season. We then move to the Ashes, with Adam Collins joining us to discuss how England's performances have been perceived in Australia. Adam considers the tough conditions in the Adelaide heat for the third Test, and we ask whether England will make changes to the team. Finally, we look at Enzo Maresca's dramatic comments after the win over Everton, describing it as his worst 48 hours since joining Chelsea. Jack felt the remarks came out of the blue and were notably vague, and while they didn't appear to be aimed at the fans, we ask whether they reflected a deeper discontent with the club itself. Dharmesh Sheth is joined by Jacqui Oatley, Miguel Delaney and Carl Anka to reflect on the weekend's sporting action. We begin with Man City's win over Leeds. Pep's side left it late with a last-minute Foden winner, but are they truly convincing? Carl finds their style this season fun to watch, yet a bit too chaotic to win the title.Next, we turn to Spurs' defeat to Fulham — their third loss of the week — and the boos told the story, as fans watched a side that has won only once at home all season. We then look at Liverpool, who have lost nine of their last twelve, and ask how realistic it is that the club makes a change with Arne Slot?Next, we move to The Ashes. With the second Test starting on Thursday, we speak to Adam Collins about how the Australian press views England's inconsistency — and what they must do to avoid falling 2–0 behind. Finally, we turn to the Premier League title race with Chelsea vs Arsenal. Miguel is impressed by how suffocating and controlling Arsenal have been in the second halves of games. But while Chelsea aren't as polished as Arteta's side, can they genuinely challenge for the title? Carl believes it's Arsenal's time.Sunday Supplement is a Sky Sports podcast. Dharmesh Sheth is joined by Mark Ogden, Jason Burt and debutant Charlie Eccleshare to reflect on the weekend's sporting action. We begin with crisis-hit Liverpool. Their defeat to Forest at Anfield marked a sixth loss in seven matches, but is it too harsh for Mark to suggest that Arne Slot's side is on track to become the worst defending champions in Premier League history?Attention then shifts to the Ashes, where we're joined by Martin Samuel, reporting on an extraordinary opening two days in Perth. Following a chaotic and crushing defeat for England in the first Test — driven by a blistering century from Travis Head — Martin raises serious questions about England's preparation and their batting order. We then turn to Manchester City, who suffered a 2–1 defeat at Newcastle, undone by a Harvey Barnes double. With a fourth league loss already this season, is Pep Guardiola's side showing signs of vulnerability? And to what extent has Rodri's absence contributed to their struggles?Next, we turn to F1 news, and the Las Vegas Grand Prix, where both McLaren cars were disqualified, costing Lando Norris his second-place finish and the 18 points that came with it. With only two events remaining, how will this reshape the picture? We then turn to Chelsea, who moved into second place with a 2–0 win at Burnley's Turf Moor. Mark is surprised to see them so high in the table — but is he right to argue that they still don't look like genuine title contenders? Finally, Adam Collins returns — in good spirits — to analyse England's predictability in the Ashes first Test and their total collapse in the second innings. Will the challenge only intensify in ten days' time as we head to Brisbane for a pink-ball Test?Sunday Supplement is a Sky Sports podcast. Rob Jones is joined by Jacqui Oatley, Martin Samuel and Julien Laurens to reflect on the weekend's sporting action. We begin by looking at England's unbeaten World Cup qualification. But is Jacqui right to think that, while praise is due, Tuchel's real test will be winning the tournament itself?Attention then turns to Scotland. After their 3–2 loss to Greece, everything now comes down to Tuesday night at Hampden, where they host Denmark and hope to top the group with a win.We move on to Wales, who beat Liechtenstein to draw level on points with second-placed North Macedonia and now look to reach the play-offs by beating them on Tuesday.Next, we turn to England's impressive win against the All Blacks. Martin highlights George Ford's two drop goals in a 33–19 performance that indicates Steve Borthwick's approach is bearing fruit. We're then joined by Adam Collins to preview the Ashes. With just five days to go, Australia are without both Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood, and Adam believes the key will be how quickly England hit the ground running. And finally, we're joined by Rob Dorsett, who discusses all things England with John Cross and Jason Burt in Tirana ahead of Albania v England.Sunday Supplement is a Sky Sports podcast. Dharmesh Sheth is joined by Jonathan Northcroft, Craig Hope and Jonathan Liew to reflect on the weekend's sporting action. We begin with league leaders Arsenal, who were held to an entertaining 2–2 draw at the Stadium of Light after a dramatic last-minute equaliser from Brian Brobbey. Was this a chink in the armour for Arteta's side? Jonathan believes Arsenal earned a valuable point given their injury problems in attack.Attention then turns to Chelsea's commanding win over Wolves at Stamford Bridge. Booed off at half-time but second in the table at full-time, Jonathan admits he's still not sure what to make of Chelsea this season — and with only two points this season, are Wolves already staring down the barrel of Championship football next year?We move on to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where Manchester United salvaged a late equaliser in a frantic 2–2 draw. Is Craig harsh to suggest it felt like a game where both teams lost?Next up, with just twelve days until The Ashes, we're joined by cricket broadcaster Adam Collins to preview the series. While much of the focus is on the prolific form of Australia's Steve Smith, we ask whether England are well placed to take the first Test. And Jonathan Liew finds himself compared to a certain England cricketer…And finally, a huge Super Sunday fixture between Manchester City and Liverpool may be key to Premier League title hopes.Sunday Supplement is a Sky Sports podcast. England India Daily, 4th Test, Old Trafford Preview: How is the better team down 2-1 in this series? This Test is massive, and India has reinforced the point by selecting Jasprit Bumrah for the third time this series. We mythbust the Old Trafford pitch and wonder if that means India revert to Ravindra Jadeja as the sole spinner. And what about the weather forecast? It's all set up not only for an intriguing, barnburner of a Test, but a tetchy series has a lot of potential to boil over in the next five days. England picks Liam Dawson for the first time in a million years but otherwise confirms the same bowling lineup, so we get more Jofra v Jasprit. The Greatest Season That Was - The Final Frontier – Colin Miller: During the 2020-21 Border-Gavaskar Trophy series in Australia, The Greatest Season That Was pod focused its attention on the relationship between the cricketing giants over the decades, some 20 years from the staggering 2001 encounter in India. After the home side came back from the dead at Kolkata, it was all to play for in Chennai. Could Steve Waugh's men now respond, or had the tide been irreversibly turned by VVS, Dravid and Harbhajan Singh? One call made by the visitors was to bring in a second spinner – a man they called Funky. Fresh from being named as Australia's Test player of the year, the versatile veteran put in a fine performance in another thriller, which came ever so close to getting the job done. The Greatest Season That Was - The Final Frontier – Mike Kasprowicz: During the 2020-21 Border-Gavaskar Trophy series in Australia, The Greatest Season That Was pod focused its attention on the relationship between the cricketing giants over the decades, some 20 years from the staggering 2001 encounter in India. Of all the moments in that riveting series, none live in the memory quite like the Kolkata Test, where Australia were bossing the hosts and enforced the follow-on. What happened goes down as one of cricket's great partnerships, decisive in turning in the tide against Steve Waugh's men. One of them was Mike Kasprowicz – a man who became his generation's subcontinental specialist. He joined Adam Collins, Daniel Brettig and Shannon Gill to recall the Eden Gardens epic.
