But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us.” “‘If you can'?” said Jesus. “Everything is possible for one who believes.” Immediately the boy's father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!” When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the impure spirit. “You deaf and mute spirit,” he said, “I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.”

The definition of faith is shown in Hebrews 11:1-2 "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. This is what the ancients were commended for. We all can have faith like the ancients were commended for if we just put God first, walk with God, Act on God's word, wait patiently, Don't trust your feelings, thank God in advance and finally we need to remember that God will always do the right thing. You're not going to have it all figured out, somewhere in your heart you know this is true. But thankfully we don't need to because we can trust that God is working on our behalf and that he will never fail us. Faith is the key we put in God's hands to turn our dreams into reality.
A sermon on dealing and responding to the climate emergency based on The Letter to the Ephesians by Canon David Hodgson, Rector of All Saints Wokingham. The sermon is preceded by a reading of Ephesians Chapter 6:10-20, read by Judith Scott.
We exist to help people, all people, get closer to God... That first part of our mission statement is who we are. We are a helping people. In fact, we won't fully find joy unless we are helping others. In this second message of Welcome Home, Tyler teaches that a faith that makes others better, makes us better too. Questions for reflection? • How are you helping others?
Doubt is an opportunity for a deeper faith if we push through and find the answers for the doubts. Jesus said, "blessed are those who believe but yet have not seen." Our faith is deeper than just the physical, here-and-now situations. Lord I believe, help my unbelief. We hope this serves you well!
