Jesus Fulfills all of God's Promises // Pastor Aaron Bennett Promises of God
Debt is burdensome and being obligated to another is a constant weight on one's shoulders. But there is one great exception, according to the apostle Paul. That exception is the debt of love. As Dr. Martyn Lloyd-Jones notes in this sermon on Romans 13:8–10 titled “Love Fulfills the Law,” Paul calls the church to be perpetually obligated in their love for one another. Paul himself was likewise indebted to all: to the Greeks and Barbarians and both to the wise and the unwise. He had the medicine in the gospel that they needed and this meant he was under obligation to share it. Paul expects nothing less from the church. The church in Rome, as well as the church today, are in a constant state of debt to one another. But Dr. Lloyd-Jones warns that if one thinks love and law are at odds with one another, then they have misunderstood the Bible. It is an abuse of the law – by the Pharisees, moralists, and in legalism — that is at odds with Paul's thoughts on law and love. The law begins with the negative, but God's commandments ultimately have a positive effect. In other words, “love is the fulfilling of the law.” Listen as Dr. Lloyd-Jones provides insight into this beautiful synthesis of law and love. Part 1: 2PM fulfills 10-year promise with triumphant Tokyo Dome return
This powerful exploration of Romans 13:8-14 challenges us to understand that love is not merely an emotion but the complete fulfillment of God's law. When we truly love God and love others, we naturally avoid murder, theft, adultery, and covetousness—not out of obligation, but because love transforms our desires. The message draws a beautiful parallel to a mother's sacrificial love, which mirrors God's relentless pursuit of us. We're reminded that just as mothers carry their children's DNA at a cellular level, believers carry the spiritual DNA of our Heavenly Father when we're born again. The urgency of the times becomes clear as we examine biblical timelines and prophetic fulfillments—from Israel's restoration in 1948 to the reality of nuclear weapons to recent revelations about unexplained phenomena. The call is unmistakable: wake up from spiritual slumber. We cannot afford to be Sunday-only Christians while the world around us descends into darkness. The parable of the wedding feast reveals a sobering truth—many are invited to God's banquet, but we must intentionally put on the garment of righteousness that Christ provides. We cannot climb in through our own efforts or good works. The challenge before us is daily and deliberate: take off the old garments of anger, malice, and selfish ambition, and clothe ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, and above all, love. This isn't passive spirituality—it's an active, conscious choice to walk worthy of our calling in increasingly dark times.**SERMON NOTES – Romans 13:8–14****1. Love Fulfills the Law (Rom 13:8–10)**- “Owe no one anything, except to love each other.”- Love is the one debt we always owe and never finish paying.- If we truly love God and people, we will naturally keep the commandments: - No other gods / no taking His name in vain – because we love Him. - Honor parents – because we love them. - No murder, adultery, stealing, lying, coveting – because we love our neighbor.- 1 Cor 13: Love is patient, kind, not envious, boastful, rude, self-seeking, or resentful; it bears, believes, hopes, endures all things; love never ends.- A loving church is “felt” more than explained—like dew in Psalm 133—unity and joy are tangible.**2. A Mother's Love as a Picture of God's Love**- Moms often embody sacrificial, protective, “mama bear” love.- They give their bodies, time, and hearts; they keep taking kids back in grace.- God's love is even greater: He goes after the one and leaves the 99; His “DNA” (new birth) changes us.**3. The Urgency of the Hour (Rom 13:11–12)**- “The hour has come for you to wake from sleep… the day is at hand.”- We are closer to Christ's return than any generation before.- Signs of the times: - Israel back in the land (1948). - Global ability to destroy ourselves (nuclear weapons). - Moral confusion: evil called good, good called evil.- Scripture repeatedly commands: Wake up, stay awake, be sober (Matt 24–25; 1 Thess 5).**4. Cast Off Darkness, Put On Light (Rom 13:12–14)**- “Cast off works of darkness… not in orgies, drunkenness, sexual immorality, sensuality, quarreling, jealousy.”- “Make no provision for the flesh”: stop planning to sin; stop building a “supply line” for temptation.- Daily choice: take off old clothes (sin) and put on Christ.**5. Put On Christ and His Armor (Eph 6; Col 3; Matt 22)**- Wedding parable: king provides free wedding garments; one man refuses to wear it and is cast out. - Point: we must put on the garment Christ provides; not come on our own terms.- Col 3: - Put off: sexual immorality, impurity, evil desire, covetousness, anger, wrath, malice, slander, obscene talk, lying. - Put on: compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, patience, forgiveness, and “above all… love.”- Armor of God (Eph 6): belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shoes of the gospel of peace, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, sword of the Spirit (Word of God). - Half of the armor is directly tied to Scripture—showing how vital the Word is.---**PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS**1. **Daily Clothing Prayer** Each morning, consciously “put off/put on”: confess specific sins, then ask God to clothe you with compassion, patience, self-control, and love.2. **Cut Off Provision for Sin** Identify where you “plan” to sin (websites, apps, contacts, places, times) and practically remove or limit access.3. **Immerse in Truth** Build a simple, steady Bible rhythm (e.g., one chapter a day in Romans or Ephesians). Treat Scripture as armor, not a hobby.4. **Practice Love in Community** At church and home, choose patient, kind responses—especially when irritated. Look for one person each week to intentionally encourage.5. **Live Awake** Evaluate your schedule, media, and habits: are you spiritually alert or numbed? Adjust to prioritize what sharpens your walk with Christ.---**DISCUSSION QUESTIONS**1. Where do you most clearly see that love “fulfills the law” in your own relationships?2. Which phrase from 1 Corinthians 13 most exposes a weakness in your love right now? Why?3. In what ways might you be “asleep” spiritually? What would waking up look like this week?4. What are some “provisions for the flesh” you've quietly allowed? How can you practically cut them off?5. Which part of the armor of God do you neglect most, and how can you intentionally “put it on” this week?6. How can our group/church better embody the welcoming, sacrificial love described in this sermon?
Lawson HarlowMatthew 5:17-20
This is the story of how the nation of Israel got divided into the the northern kingdom of Israel and the southern kingdom of Judah, which was all part of God's perfect plan. In it we discuss what it means for God to fulfill His plans on this earth and how that practically plays out in people's lives. How do we reconcile the tension between God's sovereignty and our freewill.

Love as the heart of covenant life.
As we journey on with the Lord Jesus, we now turn to Mark 11. Our Lord, having come out of Jericho, is proceeding on to Jerusalem. In these first 14 verses of chapter 11, our Lord is pictured as one who will enter into Jerusalem on the back of a colt, the foal of a donkey. As Dr. Mitchell mentions, this fulfills Zech.9:9 where it was prophesied that the Messiah would ride into Jerusalem on a donkey and the people were to rejoice. He will yet come to them. But in this instance, He was coming to them, not to reign as their King but as a savior to die on the cross for their sins, and yours and mine. Do you know your sins are forgiven? Here is Dr. Mitchell, Mark 11:1. You are listening to the Unchanging Word Bible Broadcast.
Pastor Mateo teaches that Jesus fulfills the Law by transforming it from external rule-following into a heart-level righteousness, empowering believers to live in true freedom through Him.

How does the "Emmaus Road" narrative reshape our understanding of the entire Bible? In this episode, Caleb sits down with Dr. Brian Tabb, President of Bethlehem College and Seminary, to discuss his book After Emmaus. They explore why the Old Testament is the essential foundation for the Church's mission and how Jesus's own hermeneutic should guide our preaching today.Key topics include:The Emmaus Framework: How Jesus taught the disciples to read the Law, Prophets, and Psalms.Biblical Theology: Connecting the dots between ancient scripture and the Great Commission.Suffering & Glory: Understanding the pattern of Christ's life as the pattern for the Church.Practical Ministry: How pastors can move from "text to task" without falling into moralism.Whether you are a student of theology or a local church leader, this conversation offers a profound look at how the mission of the Church is a direct fulfillment of the scriptural story.Resources: After Emmaus: How the Church Fulfills the Mission of Christ by Brian TabbWhat Is the Mission of the Church?: Making Sense of Social Justice, Shalom, and the Great Commission by Greg Gilbert and Kevin DeYoung
Read Online“Teacher, this woman was caught in the very act of committing adultery. Now in the law, Moses commanded us to stone such women. So what do you say?” John 8:4–5Justice has to be fulfilled. God is perfectly Just. That is why, in the Old Testament, capital punishment was prescribed for serious sins. Sometimes the Old Testament can be difficult to understand, particularly in relation to capital punishment. The Torah, the first five books of the Old Testament, prescribes the death penalty for sins such as adultery, other sexual offenses, blasphemy, idolatry, gravely dishonoring parents, violations of the Sabbath, murder, sacrilege, perjury, and witchcraft. These laws were intended to preserve the holiness of God's people and to emphasize the gravity of sin, which disrupts their covenantal relationship with God.Jesus' approach to these sins appears to be in stark contrast with the Old Testament laws, as is evident in His merciful treatment of the woman caught in adultery. This is because Jesus reveals the fuller meaning behind these laws: to lead sinners to repentance and conversion. Jesus came not to abolish the Old Law but to fulfill it (cf. Matthew 5:17).Adultery, like other grave violations of God's Law, demands justice. In today's Gospel, we see how Jesus fulfills the Old Testament law against adultery, and by extension, every other grave offense against God. He does not downplay the seriousness of the sin; rather, He fulfills justice by offering mercy and forgiveness, while calling the sinner to conversion and repentance. This is the deeper purpose of the Law of Moses—not mere punishment, but the transformation of the heart toward God.Both the Old Law and the New Law of grace and mercy place high moral demands on believers. Yet, the New Law brings to completion the intent of the Old Law. Jesus' merciful treatment of sinners does not abolish the need for justice but fulfills it in a new and profound way.But what about the death penalty? Doesn't justice still need to be fulfilled, as required by God in the Torah? Indeed, and this is precisely why Jesus died—to fulfill all justice. He took upon Himself the penalty for sin, including the capital punishment that was due for grave offenses, thereby restoring justice on behalf of all humanity. Once justice is fulfilled through His sacrifice and sin is repented of, conversion becomes possible. This is the true intent of God's every law, both old and new—to lead sinners to repentance, restoration, and ultimately, salvation.Though the poor woman in today's Gospel was humiliated and afraid, we must see ourselves—and every other person—in her. We are all guilty of sins deserving of death, but Jesus, in His mercy, has taken that punishment upon Himself. Jesus' statement to the scribes and Pharisees who wanted to stone her illustrates this fact: “Let the one among you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her” (John 8:7). We have no right to condemn another who is sorrowful and repentant because God is merciful and has paid the price for that person's sins by His own blood. In fact, we have no right to condemn ourselves when God offers mercy, so long as we repent and convert.Reflect today on this sinful woman and rejoice in Jesus' mercy that fulfills all justice. Know that this is how He treats you; He calls you to treat others with the same mercy. His sacrifice has already restored justice on your behalf; all He asks of you is your trust, repentance, and willingness to forgive others. Hope is possible for us all, just like it was for this sinful woman, because Jesus paid the price of sin. Be open to that gift of mercy and offer it to others, knowing that Christ's Passion and death have fulfilled the demand for justice for sin. Most merciful Savior, my sin requires punishment, and You have paid that punishment, fulfilling all justice. Please forgive me and be merciful. As You do, help me to see the ways I need to repent, convert, and offer mercy to others, to the same extent that You have been merciful to me. Jesus reveals that all of God's commands flow from one foundation: wholehearted love for God and self-giving love for others. This calls us to a faith that isn't about rules, but about reordered affection and devotion.
What does it take for a founder to return to what is real, aligned, and alive in him, instead of chasing the success, admiration, or approval he hopes will finally make him feel enough and at ease in his own life?Within the world of leaders and business owners, many of the men I work with have climbed what we would describe as their first mountain... They pursued external success, achieved milestones, and reached the very things our culture rewards. Yet somewhere along the way, a humbling truth emerges:The freedom, love, approval, or peace they hoped to feel never lasts. And they find themselves standing with everything they once wanted, yet feeling empty or restless inside. This is the moment they arrive at a crossroads. The old strategies no longer work, yet the clarity or direction how to climb their second mountain has not arrived. A mountain connected to their deeper nature, guided by what feels alive and aligned, offering a far more sustainable way to experience fulfillment than the achievement driven path that came before. In this conversation, Bjoern and I explore this crossroads in a grounded, practical way, the space between the life a man has built and the life he actually wants. In This Episode You Will Discover:Why external achievements cannot create the inner fulfillment so many men quietly hope forThe patterns that keep founders stuck on the first mountainThe common pitfalls men encounter when they begin searching for a deeper purposeWhat it looks like to move toward a deeper sense of purpose in a clear and embodied wayHow to make decisions guided by your inner knowing rather than by what simply makes sense from the outsideHow to follow what is true and aligned when fear or expectations ariseHow your relationship to death can clarify what genuinely matters to youHow you can live with greater intention in the choices you make each dayHow to build a life that feels meaningful, guided by your authentic expression rather than performance or provingAt its core, this episode offers a clear, grounded pathway for men who have reached or pursued success yet still feel a quiet restlessness inside. A pathway toward building a life that feels meaningful, guided by authentic expression rather than performance or proving. A form of leadership rooted in inner alignment, presence, and truth. If you are a man who is tired of working harder at the things that no longer work, who feels something deeper calling you forward, or who wants clarity on the next chapter of your life, I trust this episode will meet you where you are.—Connect with Alex Lehmann:

This is a short but sweet episode about what it really means to feel fulfilled. Neither in a surface level way nor in a five-year-plan hustle kind of way, but in a deep and embodied way of feeling fulfilled. I share real life examples from women who are deeply successful yet crystal clear on what they need to feel alive, supported, and satisfied in their work and lives. And of course, my own thoughts and reflections. I hope this episode can serve as a reminder to ask yourself: What actually fills my cup? What helps me feel grounded, regulated, and well in my own body? What brings meaning to my days beyond productivity and accomplishment?Press play & let's keep flourishing! ===Connect with me for daily inspiration, resources, and upcoming events to live your purpose:www.amandavsevilla.com/ Instagram.com/flourishwithpurposepodcast/Instagram.com/amandavsevilla/Tiktok.com/@amandavsevilla/Youtube.com/@amandavsevillaBy accessing this Podcast, I acknowledge that the entire contents are the property of Amanda Sevilla, or used by Amanda Sevilla with permission, and are protected under U.S. and international copyright and trademark laws. He wrote more than ten books under the solitary pen name Neville, and was a popular speaker on metaphysical themes from the late 1930s until his death in 1972.Possessed of a self-educated and uncommonly sharp intellect, Neville espoused a spiritual vision that was bold and total: Everything you see and experience, including other people, is the result of your own thoughts and emotional states. Each of us dreams into existence an infinitude of realities and outcomes. When you realize this, Neville taught, you will discover yourself to be a slumbering branch of the Creator clothed in human form, and at the helm of limitless possibilities.Neville's thought system influenced a wide range of spiritual thinkers and writers, from bestselling author Dr. Joseph Murphy to Rhonda Byrne and Wayne Dyer.He has inspired and continues to inspire millions of readers around the world.* * *SOCIALS:• Neville Goddard Newsletter• Neville Goddard Telegram• Neville Goddard Instagram• Neville Goddard Threads• Neville Goddard Twitter• Neville Goddard YouTube* * *ABOUT THE COURSEUnlock God Mode is a transformative 30-day course designed to accelerate your journey towards greater wealth, love, and success through a deeper understanding and manipulation of your reality. We are far too easily pleased.” – C.S. Lewis
