Her mission as the executive producer and host of the podcast, “Mueller, She Wrote,” is to employ her expertise in the absurd amount of Trump Russia news and wrap it up into tasty bites for human consumption; she is committed to do this weekly until the House of Trump falls. Additionally, she is very dedicated to the separation of facts and theory, and she works hard to make sure you know which is which. The truth is the goal, and facts are the tools. Allison hosts and produces a number of additional podcasts for democracy activists and informed citizens, including: “The Daily Beans” and “Clean Up on Aisle 45.” Please visit the following podcast links for Allison Gill's amazing shows: ‎Mueller, She Wrote on Apple Podcasts, ‎The Daily Beans on Apple Podcasts, ‎Cleanup on Aisle 45 with AG and Andrew Torrez on Apple Podcasts.  Bill Boyle is a well sourced and connected businessman who lives in Washington DC with his wife and son. Bill is a trusted friend and source for me who I met after he listened and became a regular and highly respected caller of my siriusxm radio show. Bill is a voracious reader and listeners love to hear his take. I think his analysis is as sharp as anyone you will hear on radio or TV and he has well placed friends across the federal government who are always talking to him. As far as I can tell he is not in the CIA. Follow him on twitter and park at his garages.   Eric J. After his clerkships, Segall worked for Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher and the U.S. Department of Justice, before joining the Georgia State faculty in 1991. Segall teaches federal courts and constitutional law I and II. He is the author of the books Originalism as Faith and Supreme Myths: Why the Supreme Court is not a Court and its Justices are not Judges. His articles on constitutional law have appeared in, among others, the Harvard Law Review Forum, the Stanford Law Review On Line, the UCLA Law Review, the George Washington Law Review, the Washington University Law Review, the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Constitutional Law, the Northwestern University Law Review Colloquy, and Constitutional Commentary among many others. This month Elizabeth Stribling with South Carolina Women in Leadership talks with Emily Geiger Smith, author of Thank You for Voting: the Maddening, Enlightening, Inspiring Truth About Voting in America, and David Daley, author of the National bestseller, Ratf**ked: Why Your Vote Doesn't Count and Unrigged: How Americans Are Battling Back to Save Democracy. In this episode you'll hear their thoughts on: legislative redistricting currently underway in South Carolina and what invested organizations like SC WIL and citizens might do to make sure their votes count for the next ten years; the ebb and flow of voting rights and access through the years and their perspectives as to whether we are “bending towards justice”; how the “boiling point” were at, demonstrated by the insurrection on the Capitol on January 6, makes horrifying sense; and if we can be optimistic about the future of our democracy. Data from the 2020 Census was released today, August 16, 2021. In South Carolina the politicians in office decide how legislative district maps are drawn and the lines will determine our choices in the voting booth for the next decade. The redistricting process is already underway and the window of opportunity to voice your concerns is very short. Stay tuned to our social media channels @SCWomenLead and learn more about the nuts and bolts of redistricting, review current district maps, dive into our collection of articles, videos, podcasts, and mapping tools, and learn how YOU can ACT NOW to make your voice heard. Loran Smith needs no introduction as most longtime UGA football fans will recognize his voice. It’s the voice that has been heard from the sidelines of UGA football for decades. The late legendary play-by-play commentator Larry Munson, used to pass the broadcast to Loran by asking, “Whattayagot, Loran?” On this episode of 33N83W, he reflects on life in Athens in the 1960’s as a track star and Grady School student and his inspiration and path into broadcasting. As a Masters aficionado, he also reminisces about his impressive 50+ trips to the Master and authoring multiple books on the subject. Having served as executive producer of the football coach's television show, packager of the game radio broadcasts, host of the Mark Richt post-game locker room show, sideline reporter during the games, and current co-host of the pre-game Tailgate Show, he has bared witness to some of the greatest moments in UGA athletics. Loran is a man who has lived a life in service of UGA, first as a track star earning both an MVP and the title of team captain in 1960, and later as Assistant Sports Information Director, Business Manager, Executive Director of the Georgia Bulldog Club, and member of the Athletic Association Development Office. Throughout his career he has served as editor of the printed game day program and has been a prolific author having written 17 books and penning a regular column that still appears in the Athens Banner Herald.
