What if your problems could be resolved and the suffering that goes along with them could be alleviated? What if anxiety could transform into serenity? What if aliveness could replace the deadening feeling of depression? What if chronic pain that thus far has been unresponsive to treatment might be resolved, leaving a person pain-free? What if negative relationship problems could be replaced by relationships filled with understanding, empathy, and a shared sense of engagement? What if peace of mind and a feeling of being “at home” could replace the despair of alienation? Today's special guest, Dr. Andrew Hahn, co-author of the book The One-Hour Miracle is here to discuss a revolutionary healing framework called Life Centered Therapy (LCT). LCT is a blueprint for transforming our physical, emotional and mental, relational, and spiritual problems. The One-Hour Miracle expands the understanding of both the causes of and the resolutions for problems, leading to extraordinary outcomes in record time through a novel way/process of marrying mindfulness and somatic (body-centered) therapy. Sometimes, the transformation takes just one hour. Over the past 30 years Life Centered Therapy has been profoundly helpful at supporting people who want to heal from PTSD, depression, anxiety, chronic pain, and some autoimmune issues. Dr. Andrew Hahn does this by guiding his clients to heal themselves through releasing trapped energy and trauma from their bodies. Andrew Hahn, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist. He received his A.B. Magna Cum Laude in Social Studies/Psychology from Harvard University and his Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Hahnemann University.  He is certified by Helen Palmer to teach the Enneagram and has also been a faculty member in the graduate Counselling Programs at Lesley University and Northeastern University.

“Divorce is the end of something, but it's the beginning of something else,” says Shannon McGorry. It was the circumstance that brought her to her true life purpose: to help women navigate through the difficult path of separation and the transition to a new life. She shares her advice on fighting your fears of the future, letting go of resentment, taking that first step to self-healing, and appreciating your successes along the way. Tune in to this episode on What's Next After Divorce with Shannon McGorry. Key points covered in this episode:   ✔️In divorce, we're stuck in a cycle of rumination. Shannon McGorry recommends writing your thoughts on paper. Dump it all down. What do you want to do? How do you want to spend your time? Journals have no constraints. ✔️Identify and combat fear. Fear shows up in the process, the loss, and the unknown. It's a real problem for all of my clients. Pinpointing that fear is actually the first step in overcoming it.  ✔️Make time to celebrate small wins. My clients forget to recognize that they're making HUGE strides. It doesn't matter if you aren't there yet. Be proud of yourself for being courageous in taking action! ✔️Action cures fear. Don't wait for that settlement to come through or that paperwork to be signed. A magic formula doesn't exist. Only the choice to make the next step. ✔️Give yourself permission to dream. Making that decision to pursue change doesn't have to be complicated. There's no perfect way of doing it. Just getting your foot out the door is all you need. ✔️ Drain the resentment, and pivot yourself to your desires. It's normal to resist having to face that emotional exhaustion. But it also takes so much to be proactive in finding the joy in your life again. Where do you want to channel your energy? It's up to you. Shannon McGorry is a Divorce Coach, passionate about creating a powerful shift in focus for women who refuse to be defined by divorce. Shannon is certified as a Professional Coach through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching, a graduate of I Heart Coaching, and a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Siena College with a B.A. in Economics. DISCLAIMER: Everything that is talked about in this episode has been checked for truth, with photos, texts, videos and time stamps to ensure a true account of events. We welcome the beautiful Berkley Brown and learn all about how she grew up and how she came to Dallas. We learn about her interesting blended family life and how strict her parents were. She is very smart and graduated with a bachelors degree Magna Cum Laude in marketing from the University of Texas. She tells us about her job in the service industry at several bars and clubs in Dallas Ft. Worth. It was there and at a local gym that she met who would later become her first boyfriend at the age of 20. He was 21 years older than her. This is where the story really gets interesting. Marcella our co host had known that her boyfriend at the time was cheating on her with Berkley but as Berkley begins to give us the timeline Marcella our cohost realizes with shock that this situation occurred way sooner than she had realized. We are piecing together timelines and Marcella realizes that he was cheating with Berkley during times when she would be out of town working, judging for dance competitions, at Nationals and on family trips that he was invited to but would decline to go to. This is like the movie "The Other Woman". At the time Berkley had no idea that he has a girlfriend. He would behave super single, invite her and all her girlfriends out and was a BIG SPENDER and tried to impress Berkley and all her friends. He then would ghost her but she would always hear from him again and they would have a blast partying and having a great time while he was in an exclusive what Marcella thought happy relationship with him. So much shocking info is revealed and even though Marcella has been healed from the betrayal she is realizing that he is more of a liar than she thought and she recounts how she met this person and how he portrayed himself to be a standup man with a great character and integrity. A Dance Dad whose daughter took classes with her. Stay tuned to Part 2 when more shocking and hurtful details are revealed. We are hoping that the recount of this situation will help women pinpoint betrayal sooner and get out of relationships like this sooner to protect themselves from heartache. And we are hoping that by telling their story both these beautiful women Marcella and Berkley can finally move on and be healed and leave this painful chapter in the past.
