INTERVIEW BEGINS AT : 45:05 The study of Jack the Ripper and the WhiteChapel murders, known as Ripperology, is a phenomenon in this era of true crime, but has been a global obsession for many decades, and one of the few things most "Ripperologist" will agree on, is Paul Begg is one of the most important names in the field. Jeremy White, host on WGR 550 in Buffalo, joins The Matt Thomas Show to provide insight into the Bills trading wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans for a 2025 second-round pick. Diggs was traded from the Minnesota Vikings to the Bills in 2020, and upon arrival, Diggs "changed [the Bills] standard," according to White. Last season, Diggs caught 107 passes for 1,183 yards and eight touchdowns. "Something must have come between" Stefon Diggs and quarterback Josh Allen, White said. Nevertheless, Diggs is heading to Houston and will team-up with C.J. Stroud. Diggs' "skill set should last," and "I think it's a homerun for the Texans."

In 2019 Jeremy created the Gold product known as the Goldback. This exhibited Gold in spendable quantities for the first time. Using a patented production process, Jeremy effectively set up a novel product in one of the oldest industries known to man. After being recognized as a local currency in Utah, many states began vying for their own Goldback series. Currently, there are 4 state series and over 8 Million Goldbacks in circulation. With nothing but a dream, Jeremy created a company from an initial investment of $40,000 to one of the most bullish corporations in the United States. The Goldback project is the answer to the many problems presented by the Modern American Economy, such as: – A rampant distrust of the existing monetary system – The endless printing of currency devaluing the US dollar – The lack of a consistent store of value for finances – The unusability of precious metals as spendable currencies The Goldback is on the rise and offers viable solutions to real-world problems. Prior to Goldback, Jeremy always had an interest in precious metals. On a whim, he quit a high-paying job to become one of the first full-time employees of the UPMA (Utah Precious Metals Association). He was able to help grow the organization from 400 members to over 25,000. This enabled him to negotiate himself into his first management position. From there he was able to begin work on his first business, Quintric. This was a gold-backed crypto project where he served on the board of directors. Ultimately this sparked the idea of a gold-backed currency. Quintric did not take off as hoped and after Jeremy's exit, he quickly started work on the Goldback Inc. Host Jeremy to have intellectual and practical conversations about Gold, Entrepreneurship, Finance, and More! From Jeremy: The precious metals space is fairly small so I didn't envision myself being able to find a job in it. However, I met Larry Hilton at an event at the Capitol in Salt Lake City while interning with the Libertas Institute. He had a small side business serving the United Precious Metals Association with gold and silver accounts. About a year later I wrote a blog about his business that ended up being read by over a quarter million people on Zerohedge.com. The article resulted in an explosion of interest in the United Precious Metals Association (UPMA) and I used that as leverage to successfully get a job with Larry. He agreed to start me out full-time for $10 an hour which was a steep pay cut. I don't remember how I sold my wife on this but as a result, I ended up working in the space that interested me the most. What I found out is that following passion creates opportunity! Jeremy Stalnecker is the CEO of the Mighty Oaks Foundation. The Mighty Oaks Foundation is dedicated to helping America's military warriors and their families who are suffering from the unseen wounds of combat such as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).While growing up in San Jacinto, CA, Jeremy's only goal in life was to leave home and join the Marine Corps. This dream was finally realized with an active duty commission in 1999. Following Infantry Officer Course in Quantico, VA, Jeremy was assigned to First Battalion, Fifth Marines, First Marine Division as an infantry platoon commander. Serving first as a rifle platoon commander in a helicopter company and then as the platoon commander of the counter-mechanized platoon, Jeremy learned valuable leadership and communication skills that he continues to use today. In January 2003, Fifth Marines, as a part of the First Marine Division, deployed to Kuwait in support of what would become Operation Iraqi Freedom. As the war began, First Battalion, Fifth Marines was the infantry battalion used to breech the berm separating Kuwait and Iraq and secured the first major objective of the war. This led to a road march that ended with the battalion occupying Baghdad and seizing the presidential palace in northern Baghdad on the Tigris River. Throughout this movement, Jeremy and the counter-mechanized platoon provided navigation and lead security for the battalion.Find out more about Jeremy and what he does below:https://www.jeremystalnecker.com/ https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/march-or-die/id1517415146 https://www.mightyoaksprograms.org/

The Football History Dude is part of the https://sportshistorynetwork.com/ (Sports History Network - The Headquarters For Sports Yesteryear). NETWORK SPONSORS https://sportshistorynetwork.com/row1/ (Row One) - the vintage shop for sports history fans! EPISODE SUMMARY This week I bring on Jeremy McFarlin, host of the Football Is Family podcast. He is a special guest, because he has been there since the beginning for me in my podcast journey. Jeremy was the first "non-freind or family member" that reached out and said he listened to the show, and he's been along for the ride ever since. https://sportshistorynetwork.com/podcasts/football-is-family/ (CHECK OUT JEREMY'S PODCAST HERE) Host – Jeremy McFarlinGrowing up in Middle Tennessee, I didn't have a pro football team that was close enough to me to feel a part of. My first memory of pro football was Super Bowl 22. I picked the Broncos to win, and, even though they didn't win, I followed them from that point on. John Elway was (and is) my favorite player. I have played as the Broncos on Tecmo Bowl, Tecmo Bowl Super Bowl, Madden, and 2K Sports. I fondly remember the moments when the Broncos won Super Bowls 32 and 33. Around this time, the Oilers came to Tennessee. I was hooked. I finally had a team just down the road from my home town of Bon Aqua. Oiler (and later Titans) mania hit this area. Jerseys, hats, footballs, merchandise, and several autographs later, I'm a Titans fan through and through. THE FOOTBALL HISTORY DUDE BACKGROUND https://sportshistorynetwork.com/podcasts/the-football-history-dude/ (The Football History Dude) is a show dedicated to teaching NFL fans about the rich history of the game we all know and love. I'm your host, Arnie Chapman, and I'm just a regular dude that loves football and is a nerd when it comes to learning about history. I created this show to share the gridiron knowledge nuggets I gain from researching various topics about the history of the National Football League. Each episode I welcome you to climb aboard my DeLorean to travel back in time to explore the yesteryear of the gridiron, and yes, that's a reference to the Back to the Future Movies. Mentioned in this episode: SHN Books
