Join host Clay Edwards and co-hosts Shaun Yurtkuran and Lindsey Beckham for another unfiltered edition of Uncensored Live, streaming live every Sunday through Thursday. This episode kicks off with a lively introduction to the hosts' daily shows: Catch Shaun and Lindsey on Crossing the Aisle weekdays from noon to 1 PM on WYAB 103.9 FM in Central Mississippi, or stream it worldwide on their YouTube and Facebook channels (with plans to expand to X soon). Clay hosts The Clay Edwards Show every Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 9 AM on the same station, available on social media platforms. As the second full week of this new format rolls on, the trio dives into a mix of throwback stories, local news breakdowns, and fiery discussions on crime, politics, and cultural shifts. Nostalgic Throwbacks and Early Internet Shenanigans: The conversation starts light-hearted with shoutouts to viewers like Junk and RaccoonMan60 on YouTube, sparking a fun chat about quirky usernames tied to old Gmail and AOL accounts. The hosts reminisce about their embarrassing early online handles—Clay's "BudLightAholic69" from AOL chat room days (which hilariously carried over into booking big bands like Papa Roach for his club), Shaun's MySpace monikers like "RedneckRockstar" and "Made of Scars" (inspired by a Stone Sour song), and Lindsey's cringe-worthy Yahoo and MySpace relics. They laugh about deleting MySpace accounts during breakups, getting mad over Top 8 friend lists, and wild road trip antics like writing "Honk if you MySpace" on a Nissan Xterra's window during a chaotic New Orleans adventure. The group reflects on '90s and early 2000s tech: ASL queries in chat rooms, dial-up AOL, illegal downloads via Napster and LimeWire (and the viruses that "gave your computer instant AIDS"), burning CDs, and the excitement of switching to Roadrunner cable modems. They share stories of sketchy online interactions, pondering how many "old men" were lurking in those chat rooms, and tie it back to modern kids' lack of understanding of rejection or dial-up frustrations. Retro Rides and First Cars: Shifting gears, the hosts bond over '90s and 2000s vehicles: Nissan Xterras as the ultimate "2000s car," Mitsubishi Montero Sports aging well, jacked-up Porsche SUVs looking like zombie apocalypse rigs, and first cars like Shaun's 1985 Ford Bronco and a Ford Probe GT. They geek out over Geo Storms, '96 Mustangs, and custom rides, sharing awkward encounters like Clay waving down a neighbor to compliment his vehicle—only to get a cold response. Local News Breakdown: Jackson's Park Pivot and City Improvements: Things get serious with breaking news from the Clarion Ledger: New Jackson Mayor John Horn scraps the Lumumba-era "Pulse at Farish Street" park plan (involving skate parks, pickleball courts, and more) tied to a federal bribery scandal. Instead, the site will become a functional parking lot for the Jackson Convention Complex, addressing long-standing issues like inadequate parking and crumbling lots. The hosts praise the common-sense move, criticizing the original plan's focus on "white" activities like frisbee golf and pickleball in a 90% Black city, and highlight how it could generate revenue without fixed investments. They discuss broader Jackson challenges: crime deterring development, the need for events over permanent fixtures, and how simply stopping "wrong things" (like incompetence in contracts) could heal the city. Shoutouts to Super Chats and viewer support lead to ideas for community events funded by donations. Crime and Altercations: Adams County Incident and Self-Defense Debates: The episode tackles a viral video of an altercation in Adams County near Natchez, where a group of white men assaulted Black cyclist Reginald Butler on a bridge. Butler later returned armed, leading to a second confrontation where he shot one assailant (Cameron Talton) in self-defense, resulting in arrests on both sides (aggravated assault for Butler and others). The hosts dissect the confusing reports, questioning if it's a hate crime (potentially drawing Ben Crump), the role of Butler retrieving a gun, and self-defense laws (no duty to retreat in Mississippi, but leaving and returning complicates claims). They compare it to past cases like a local manslaughter involving a bouncer and emphasize waiting for full context, as initial videos often mislead (citing a Crystal Springs trooper incident). Policy Proposals and Cultural Critiques: Ski Mask Ban and COVID Reflections: Jackson Police Chief Joseph Wade's proposal to ban ski masks in public (citing intimidation and evading facial recognition) sparks debate on masks generally—COVID-era "face diapers," hoodies in summer as red flags for crime, and why concealing identity screams suspicion. The hosts slam draconian COVID measures (e.g., Tate Reeves banning boats on reservoirs, restaurant restrictions), praising Florida's pivot while criticizing California's extremes (filling skate parks with sand). They reflect on unaccountable politicians, lost loved ones dying alone, and calls for laws like the "No One Left Alone Act." National Hot Topics: Epstein Files, Trump Admin Drama, and More: The discussion heats up on Jeffrey Epstein files: Trump's shifting stance ("release credible information"), Megyn Kelly's takedown of Ben Shapiro, demands from Mike Johnson, and speculation on black swan events distracting from it. They critique conservative influencers like Charlie Kirk for dodging the topic to maintain access, praise independent voices like Tucker Carlson and Kelly, and tie in Biden's preemptive pardons (e.g., for Fauci, Hunter) as legally dubious blankets covering potential crimes like gain-of-function research linked to millions of deaths. Shoutouts and Local Plugs: Shoutouts to viewers, Super Chats, and local businesses like Mocha Mugs in Rankin County (two locations: drive-thru at the old bank near Burgers Blues Barbecue and another at the Exxon by Kroger). The hosts encourage supporting local spots and tipping generously. Wrap-Up and Teasers: This episode blends humor, nostalgia, and hard-hitting analysis, proving why Uncensored Live is a must-watch for unvarnished takes on Mississippi life and beyond. Tune in tomorrow for more—same time, same raw energy. Follow on YouTube, Facebook, X, and WYAB 103.9 FM. What did you think of the Adams County case or the ski mask ban? Every month of the calendar is known for different things that are synonymous with that time of year. For example, the Month of December is known for Christmas. October is the time of year for both Halloween and the World Series. The month of June is no different. Not only does it mark the start of summer vacation, but it is also the month that sees the crowning of the new champions of the NBA and NHL.In this edition of the Historically Speaking Sports Podcast hosts Dana Auguster and Charles Combs share their favorite and not-so favorite moments of the NBA Finals. Also later in the show, Dana and Charles delve into the hockey's most cherished possession - the Stanley Cup. They will discuss its history and the traditions that surround the Stanley Cup and all of the trophies and other individual awards that make that sport as special as it is here in North America. To close out the show the show hosts will send a shout out to the events of June 17th 1994. That night the sports watching public was setting in for Game 5 of the NBA finals between the New York Knicks and the Houston Rockets. However that game was serve as a backdrop as the sports watching public was captivated by what was happening on a southern California freeway with a white Ford Bronco. So... what would have happened if Toyota made their take on the 911 in the 1990s? What if Pontiac took the Ford Bronco in the mid 1980s and created their own version? What if Chadwick's favorite auntie was Frank's creepy handsy uncle? This and more on this week's episode of the APA Podcast!
This episode is dedicated to honor the memory of Barb Ziegler, the founder of The Trailhead Community. "We are here to celebrate tonight, the opening of this building...we are not at the end of the trail. We are still working on making the trail longer, stronger, and more connected for more people to help solve the greater problem in this community {independent living for IDD adults}." This episode revisits The Trailhead Community at their building opening and ribbon cutting ceremony. If you hear any background noise or laughter, that's because this episode was recorded LIVE in the lobby of The Trailhead Community building in April 2025! In this conversation, Devon Tilly and co-host Matt McMullen chat with various partners at The Trailhead Community! Everyone's first car is always special! Ryan and Jamie Lockwood share their heartwarming story about how the Ford Motor Company went above and beyond to create a ‘Bluey' inspired Ford Bronco for their daughter Evie's 16th birthday. Evie is non-verbal with autism, and her parents wanted to gift her the ultimate 16th birthday gift, a new car. So, Ryan sent an anonymous letter to Michigan Assembly Plant Manager Greg Christensen. Greg worked his magic and helped fast-track the car's design, making sure it was ready and rolling just in time for Evie's special day. Learn more about your ad choices. Shoot us a Text. The auto industry breathed a sigh of relief yesterday as it was announced that they will be exempt from the 25% tariffs on Mexican and Canadian goods. Plus, we're looking at the cars that hold their value the best, and Google's push towards AI search.Show Notes with links:The auto industry is temporarily relieved by a one-month exemption from the 25% tariffs on vehicles covered by the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). President Trump granted the reprieve following requests from Ford, GM, and Stellantis, with the ultimate goal of shifting production to the U.S.The automotive provisions of the USMCA require that 75% of a vehicle's components be made in North America (up from 62.5% under NAFTA) to qualify for zero tariffs, and mandate that 40-45% of auto parts be made by workers earning at least $16 per hour, aiming to boost North American production and labor standards. Most automotive manufacturers comply with USMCA standards and The American Automotive Policy Council and automakers expressed gratitude for the temporary exemption.Suppliers remain concerned about long-term impacts, despite positive signs for USMCA-compliant parts.Dealers and industry experts view the exemption as part of a broader strategy to encourage domestic manufacturing, but uncertainty persists.“The damage has already been done. For an industry that operates in three- to five-year product cycles, this level of day-to-day uncertainty is debilitating.” — Glenn Stevens, Executive Director of MichAuto.Last week we covered the cars with the most depreciation, and now, Kelley Blue Book has announced its annual Best Resale Value Awards, highlighting the top performers of 2025.The top 10 vehicles are projected to retain an average of 58% of their original MSRP, compared to the market average of 44.6%.Toyota dominates the list, securing four of the top ten spots, including the #1 2025 Toyota Tacoma with a projected 64.1% resale value. The full top 10 list includes the 2025 Toyota GR Supra (53.7%), 2025 Porsche 911 (53.8%), 2025 Toyota RAV4 (53.9%), 2025 Honda CR-V (54.4%), 2025 Mercedes-Benz G-Class (56.6%), 2025 Ford Bronco (57.0%), 2025 Toyota 4Runner (60.0%), 2025 Toyota Tundra (60.9%), 2025 Chevrolet Corvette (61.0%), and 2025 Toyota Tacoma (64.1%).Google is accelerating its AI integration into search with a new feature called AI Mode, adding a chatbot-like experience directly to the core of Google Search.AI Mode, currently in testing, is only available to Google One AI Premium subscribers and must be enabled in the Labs section of Search. The feature offers a search-centric chatbot experience, delivering AI-generated answers directly from Google's search index with supporting links throughout.AI Mode uses the Gemini 2.0 model, aiming to improve Google's ability to handle more advanced queries while providing real-time data and web interaction. While concerns remain about Google's shift away from traditional website linking, Stein asserts that AI Overviews anHosts: Paul J Daly and Kyle MountsierGet the Daily Push Back email at https://www.asotu.com/ JOIN the conversation on LinkedIn at: https://www.linkedin.com/company/asotu/ Read our most recent email at: https://www.asotu.com/media/push-back-email

Land Cruiser is one of Toyota's – and, arguably, the world's – most haloed marques. In this episode, Jason and Derek discuss its origins and history from its jeep origins, to its enormous family tree, all the way up to the brand new 250-series models, the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser and Lexus GX550. Jason and the Hagerty crew traveled to the rugged, mountainous outskirts of Salt Lake City (and the nearby Land Cruiser Heritage Museum) to film an ICONS episode on the illustrious off-roading Toyota. And in this episode, the carmudgeons dive into the origins of the Japanese jeep and its Attila-grade family tree of subsequent series: the 20-series Land Cruiser and then the, 40, 55, 60, 70, 80, 100, 200, 250, and 300, just to name a few! The FJs, BJs, the Iron Pig, heavy duties, station wagons, Prados, the Lexus-badged models like the LX600 and GX550 (Motor 1's SUV of the year!). We'll even cover the Land Cruiser's competition along the way: the Jeep Wrangler, Compass, Cherokee, Grand Cherokee, and Wagoneer; the Land Rover Defender, Range Rover, Velar, Discovery and Evoque; even the Ford Bronco and International Scout. In addition to the WWII Willys Jeep 4x4, we'll cover the origin of the “J” in BJ and FJ – an abbreviation for jeep, which itself many believe is a pseudo-acronym for GP or “general purpose,” but a fact-check says otherwise. Even the Land Cruiser name itself was a tweaked version of the Land Rover moniker to make Rando-kurūzā in Japan. Jason also reviews both of the new 250-series Prado trucks: the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser and 2024 Lexus GX550. We'll talk powertrain, styling, cargo and passenger capacity, comfort, handling, NVH, luxury, and more. Now let's get to it! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Buckle up, folks, because this week's episode is hotter than California itself. Literally. Episode 173 dives headfirst into the absolute chaos that is the Golden State right now, where wildfires are blazing, insurance companies are ghosting homeowners, and Governor Gavin Newsom is busy blaming pipes and wind for the inferno. Spoiler alert: we've cracked the code—wind + dry trees = disaster. Groundbreaking stuff, right? But that's just the tip of the flaming iceberg. We're dissecting Megan Markle's With Love, Megan Netflix postponement. Was it an act of compassion for fire victims, or is Meghan playing the PR game harder than a Real Housewife in Beverly Hills? You decide. Meanwhile, MrBeast is out here doing what Congress won't—handing out prosthetic legs and exposing the health care system's failures. Shocker: YouTubers shouldn't have to fix what the government refuses to address. Speaking of ridiculous stunts, Joe Exotic wants out of prison and is offering Joe Rogan a used Ford Bronco in exchange for podcast airtime. Honestly, we're here for it—imagine the content! And let's not forget the TikTok drama. Will it get banned? Will it survive? Will your thirst traps end up on Lemon8? All that and more as we debate the app's fate while lying on our mattresses “made in China.” Finally, we wrap it all up with a heartfelt prayer for Ellen DeGeneres, praise for Canada's tech contributions (shoutout Linus), and a potential trip to Niagara Falls—because sometimes you just need to escape the madness.
