There's a hustle, push push push mentality in the air with all entrepreneurs, and it's troublesome for women and moms who are bearing the heavy load of parenting and domestic chores. That's a FACT. Fiction is defined as an imaginary construction which is unreal - as opposed to truth, or reality. But what is real and what is imaginary when, in a spiritual sense, all existing things are imaginary? Mark tells the parable of the fig tree, which - having been cursed - was found withered to its roots. Calling attention to this fact, awakened imagination said: "Have faith in God. Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart that what he has said will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you desire, when you pray believe you havereceived it and you will." Mark 11. Here is an imaginary act which has no support in fact. The tree was not withered at the time it was cursed, but when they returned the next day the imaginal act had been executed. So you see: this law is not limited to being constructive only. It can be used for good, bad, or indifferent purposes; for there are no limitations placed on the possibilities of prayer. Now when you pray you must immerse yourself in the feeling of the wish fulfilled, for the word "pray" means, "Motion towards; accession to; at or in the vicinity of." Point yourself towards the wish fulfilled and acceptthat invisible state as reality. Then go your way knowing the desire is now yours. You did it and you will not be surprised when it comes to pass.When you first practice this technique you will be surprised when it happens; but when you learn how to completely accept the state assumed, you will know you do not have to do a thing to make it come to pass, as the assumption contains its own plan of fulfillment. JOSHUA TONGOL is a young man with an interesting story. He was born with only one hand that he wrestled with for most of his life. For years he went from one healing crusade to another to receive healing, but to no avail. He became utterly disappointed and confused concerning the idea of miracles.   By the age of 17 he began his eight-year tirade against all forms of faith healing. But during that skeptical period, he was unexpectedly diagnosed with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and also suffered from a herniated disc in his back (sciatica). He experienced a tremendous amount of physical and emotional pain. And although he desired to be healed, he was still a hardcore critic of faith healing.   However, what happened next changed his life forever.     In 2006, Joshua was challenged by what many would consider to be a modern-day miracle. My name is Joshua Tongol. I was raised a Christian. For years I believed whatever I was taught by pastors, preachers and teachers. I was told what to believe, how to think, and how to live. Honestly, I constantly struggled with my faith because, on the one hand, I believed in a God who supposedly "loved" me unconditionally, but, on the other hand, I also believed in a God who was hateful, exclusive, judgmental, and violent. God, to me, seemed somewhat schizophrenic. I had no security in God's love whatsoever. His love and acceptance of me was based on what I believed and how "good" I was. [The views shared in this video do not necessarily represent the views of the community] In March 2013, Joshua Tongol was invited to speak to a community in Santa Cruz, CA. Aside from his preaching, he requested for intimate gatherings where people can discuss topics that are usually not brought up in the "church." Many questions came up. Nothing was too sacred to mention in this meeting. The purpose was to ask the "WHAT IF?" question and to also offer alternative explanations of certain ideas. Whenever a "new" idea was proposed to the community, the question was asked, "IS IT POSSIBLE?" No one, including the speaker, claimed to have it all figured out. But all were invited to participate in the conversation. Sadly, many religious fundamentalists (Christian and non-Christian) tend to be very dogmatic concerning certain theological doctrines. Yet there is much diversity among them. That being the case, IS IT OK TO QUESTION? Questions to think about: -What do you really believe? -Why do you believe? -Can your "truth" withstand scrutiny? -Can you listen to a different opinion other than yours without being offended? -Can you disagree with another person and still unite in love? -Can you feel safe enough in a gathering to share your heart without having to feel judged or condemned? Josh has always envisioned gatherings where people can come together--with all their differences--yet still unite in love. As you watch these videos, try to have an open heart and mind.
