Unlocking Increase: The Four-Part Formula for Success in Business God's Way

Have you heard the news about the Kingdom Leaders Community? Consider this your personal invitation! KLC is for entrepreneurs and leaders who know they're called to more! Discover the strategies, support, and spiritual fire to step into your next level. JOIN HERE   In this episode of Wisdom's Table, I dive deep into a topic that resonates with many of us: the desire for a guaranteed formula for success in our businesses, particularly when we seek to align our efforts with God's will. Have you ever wished for a straightforward answer from Jesus on how to achieve success? While there isn't a quick fix in the Kingdom of God, I present a four-part formula that can lead to what I call "guaranteed biblical increase." Drawing from Isaiah 55:11, I outline the essential components of this formula: Promise, People, Positioning, and Timing. Each of these elements plays a crucial role in ensuring that we are aligned with God's purpose for our lives and businesses. Promise: Understanding the specific promise God has given you is vital. I emphasize the importance of clarity in what God has called you to do. Without a clear promise, we may find ourselves pursuing paths that are not aligned with God's will, leading to frustration and stagnation. People: This component focuses on the "who" of your promise. It's essential to identify the audience or community you are meant to serve. I discuss how the right promise can be rendered ineffective if the wrong people are involved. Knowing your target demographic is key to unlocking the potential of your calling. Positioning: Here, I explore how your market positioning affects your ability to achieve success. I use real estate as an analogy to illustrate how understanding market dynamics and setting realistic goals are crucial for aligning with God's plan. If your positioning is off, even the best promise and the right people won't lead to the increase you desire. Timing: Finally, I address the importance of God's timing. I remind listeners that there are seasons in the spiritual realm that impact our lives and businesses. Being patient and discerning God's timing is essential for reaping the harvest He has in store for us. Throughout the episode, I encourage listeners to conduct a self-audit in these four areas to identify where they may need realignment. I also invite you to join my Kingdom Leaders Community, where we delve deeper into these principles and support one another in our journeys. As we wrap up, I express my gratitude for your support and encourage you to share this episode with friends who may benefit from this message. Join me next week as we continue to explore what it means to partner with God in our businesses and lives. Until then, be blessed!   00:00:01 - Welcome to Wisdom's Table Introduction to the podcast and its purpose. 00:00:36 - The Formula for Success Discussion on the desire for a guaranteed formula for success in business God's way. 00:01:07 - The Reality of Increase Understanding that increase requires partnership with Jesus and is not a quick fix. 00:02:10 - The Four-Part Formula Introduction to the four components: Promise, People, Positioning, and Timing. 00:04:06 - Isaiah 55:11 Explained Exploring the scripture that serves as the foundation for the formula. 00:05:52 - Understanding the Promise The importance of knowing the specific promise God has given you. 00:09:03 - The Role of People Identifying the right people connected to your promise and their significance. 00:12:32 - Positioning in the Market How your positioning affects the fulfillment of your promise. 00:18:43 - The Importance of Timing Understanding God's timing and its impact on your journey to increase. 00:22:06 - Invitation to Deeper Relationship Encouragement to engage deeply with God for clarity and alignment. 00:24:31 - Closing Thoughts and Community Invitation Wrap-up of the episode and an invitation to join the Kingdom Leaders Community.

And a snapshot of the final five Grow A Small Business Questions: What do you think is the hardest thing in growing a small business? Jordan Berry shared that the hardest part of growing a small business has been managing the emotional ups and downs. The highs can be exhilarating, but the lows can be tough, and staying steady without quitting has been his biggest challenge. What's your favorite business book that has helped you the most? Jordan Berry shared that his favorite business book is Buy Back Your Time by Dan Martell. It helped him shift his mindset to focus only on the work he should personally do while delegating the rest. Are there any great podcasts or online learning resources you'd recommend to help grow a small business? Jordan Berry shared that he learns a lot from podcasts and online resources like Alex Hormozi, Lewis Howes, and Ed Mylett. He also recommends the Marketing School Podcast by Neil Patel and Eric Siu for quick, practical marketing insights. What tool or resource would you recommend to grow a small business? Jordan Berry shared that one of the most valuable resources for business growth is solid bookkeeping. He recommends tools like QuickBooks or FreshBooks, and ideally working with a CPA, to keep finances clear and under control. What advice would you give yourself on day one of starting out in business? What if the key to transforming your life and business wasn't in working harder—but in expanding your imagination? In this episode of The Manifested Podcast, Kathleen Cameron reveals how your inner world shapes your outer success, showing that imagination isn't just daydreaming—it's a direct line to source energy. In this episode, I sat down with Dr. Jairo Borja, President and CEO of Borja Consulting Group, to explore how he's helping both entrepreneurs and nonprofits scale their impact. Dr. Borja shared details about his 90-Day Mastery Program—designed specifically for coaches and consultants ready to level up—and his curriculum development work with nonprofits focused on entrepreneurship. He also talked about his latest book, DealMaker: How to Easily Raise the Limit of Capital Deals, which has opened new speaking opportunities and platforms to share his knowledge. And yes, we even took a nostalgic detour back to our teenage years, remembering the long wait in line for WrestleMania 3 tickets during a frigid winter. Unexpected Wins from Group Sessions I shared how group coaching sessions often produce unexpected breakthroughs. Many participants, after just 9 weeks, find themselves launching businesses or uncovering opportunities they never planned for. The group environment fosters connection, networking, and accountability—elements that spark real momentum and transformation in a short amount of time. The Power of Accountability and Support in Coaching We dove into the structure and benefits of group coaching—weekly lessons, community support, and ongoing dialogue through platforms like WhatsApp. These elements keep participants engaged and focused. I stressed how small wins—like acting on a downloaded tool or applying a new framework—often lead to big shifts. Group coaching isn't just about content; it's about action and growth, powered by community. And yes, I couldn't resist comparing the coach's role to Paul Heyman's legendary presence in wrestling—because every great performer needs a strategic voice in their corner. Mentorship and Peer Support: Game Changers for Growth We highlighted how peer support and mentorship aren't just nice-to-haves—they're often the missing piece that unlocks major breakthroughs. I shared personal stories where relationships and guidance made all the difference, especially in scaling nonprofit and business initiatives. These kinds of groups provide encouragement, real-time feedback, and actionable insights that accelerate success. Real Estate Lessons from DealMaker Dr. Borja also expanded on his book DealMaker, which chronicles his journey in real estate—from securing a 52-unit property in North Carolina to learning from failed deals in Allentown, Memphis, and Madera Beach. The book outlines strategies for accessing capital—like term loans, business credit lines, and self-directed IRAs—and it serves as a tool to attract coaching clients, enroll members into his "Elevation" program, or draw in passive investors. He also teased a busy speaking schedule, with events in Miami, Atlanta, and more—even during August, a month usually slow for conferences. Building Business Through Clear Communication I shared insights from my own recent speaking engagements, reflecting on the dynamics of in-person versus virtual events. One consistent truth: having a book is a game-changer. It builds instant credibility and creates powerful networking opportunities. I also emphasized the importance of refining your message when pitching for capital—and how being in a group coaching environment sharpens that message and broadens access to strategic resources. If you've read my book, I encourage you to share it with your own mentorship circle. The impact multiplies when we grow together. Why Small Business Still Matters We wrapped up with a discussion on the pivotal role small businesses play in the economy. With half of the Fortune 500 companies from the year 2000 now gone, it's clear: agility, innovation, and community matter more than ever. Dr. Borja announced the launch of his next program cohort kicking off in late July or early August, and he's welcoming new participants. You can connect with him directly via LinkedIn or visit Borja Consulting Group and Borja Capital to learn more.

Rich Sanders brings a remarkably unique perspective to the Uncommon Leader Podcast as both a pastor and successful entrepreneur. With his powerful motto—"The more we make, the more we give"—Sanders tackles the perceived tension between Christian values and business success, offering a refreshing framework that celebrates both hard work and generous giving as expressions of faith.Throughout our conversation, Sanders draws from his experience as a military veteran, business owner, and spiritual leader to illuminate how capitalism and Christianity can not only coexist but thrive together when properly aligned. He introduces the concept of "philanthropic capitalism" but takes it deeper, arguing that without genuine love for others, corporate giving risks becoming just another marketing strategy. One of the most memorable moments comes when Sanders shares a profound encounter with a homeless man who, despite having nothing by conventional standards, demonstrated extraordinary spiritual wealth through his complete trust in God's provision. This story challenges listeners to reconsider what true abundance really means in both business and life. For Christian business leaders navigating workplace dynamics, Sanders offers practical wisdom on leading by example rather than overt evangelism. "People will know you by your love," he explains, suggesting that authentic faith naturally shines through our actions, decisions, and treatment of others without requiring explicit religious language.Sanders also introduces his nonprofit initiative, Koinonia Mission, created to help Christians serve their communities outside traditional church frameworks. This project reflects his commitment to making faith-based service accessible to everyone, regardless of their relationship with organized religion.Whether you're a business professional seeking to integrate your faith more authentically in your work or simply curious about the intersection of spiritual and financial success, this conversation offers thoughtful insights on building a purposeful career that honors both profit and people. How might your business decisions change if you approached them through the lens of "the more we make, the more we give"?Connect with Rick: https://christiancapitalist.life/Thanks for listening in to the Uncommon Leader Podcast. The Business of Meetings – Episode 256: Own Your Success: How to Stay Accountable and Get Results with Eric Rozenberg Today, Eric dives into the importance of accountability in achieving success.  Drawing from his past experiences, he highlights the transformative power of accountability in driving exceptional results. Example from Student Days: Planning vs. Execution There is a huge difference between creating a study plan and executing a study plan with accountability. To illustrate the importance of staying committed to goals despite external temptations, Eric shares a personal anecdote from his student days in Belgium, explaining how he planned for his exams meticulously but still got distracted by a tennis championship. Leadership at ISEC: Board Accountability Eric learned the value of accountability through regular board meetings in his leadership role at ISEC. Working with an advisory board of senior executives from Fortune 100 companies, he and his team were tasked with presenting updates on their progress, addressing challenges, and aligning their efforts with the goals of the organization. Knowing that he had to answer to various high-level stakeholders, the quarterly meetings motivated him to stay focused and deliver results, reinforcing the importance of continuous self-assessment and course correction in achieving success. Business Leadership: Advisory Boards and Self-Accountability Eric applied the lessons he learned at ISEC about accountability to his entrepreneurial journey in his quarterly meetings with advisors, industry experts, and professionals from unrelated fields. Through those regular meetings and openly sharing his successes and challenges, he ensured that he remained focused on his goals and made informed decisions. That strengthened his businesses and highlighted the importance of transparency and external perspectives in maintaining accountability and driving growth. In this special episode, Gresham Harkless emphasizes the significance of experimentation in business, particularly in the early stages.    He discusses how trying different strategies, testing ideas, and being open to trial and error can lead to finding the right approach.   Gresham highlights the value of A/B testing — comparing two variations of a strategy or offer to see which performs better.   He explains the importance of tracking data such as impressions, clicks, conversions, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).   Moreover, he believes business owners should create space to experiment, which fosters innovation and growth. What does it really take to build a successful business and balanced life? In this episode of the Habits and Hustle Podcast, I am joined by Mind Pump's Adam Schafer to discuss this very thing.  We discuss Adam's challenging upbringing, including his father's suicide, an abusive stepfather, and the importance of allowing children to struggle and learn from challenges, rather than solving all their problems, even going as far as "manufacturing adversity" to help build character in privileged children. We also dive into a wide range of topics such as self-awareness in relationships, building sustainable, profitable businesses rather than chasing vanity metrics or venture capital funding, investing in yourself and your own growth, the potential negative impacts of social media, especially on younger generations, and much more.  Adam Schaefer is a successful fitness entrepreneur and IFBB Men's Physique Pro. Adam has obtained certifications from top fitness institutions and has trained over 1000 clients. As a co-founder of Mind Pump, he combines his expertise with his partners to make a positive impact on the fitness industry, bridging the gap between wellness and performance.  What We Discuss: (06:42) Success Through Adversity (25:50) Gaining Advantage Through Adversity (35:11) Understanding Family Dynamics and Breaking Cycles (44:00) Recognizing Insecurities and Growth (59:29) Breaking Toxic Relationship Patterns (01:19:55) Authenticity vs Social Media Persona (01:32:18) Navigating Social Media and Parenting (01:42:42) Managing Multiple Businesses and Delegating Roles (01:53:05) Venturing Into VC Hustles and Investments …and more!
