At long last the KF Show gang - each and every last one of us - hit the road for Bowling Green Kentucky. "Kibbe Lee" the General Lee came too! There we conducted two days of interview interviews from the field, but featured the best for last with Catherine Bach herself! We were lucky enough to get an entire sit down with her, in fact. Thanks to Kevin Shaw at MOPAR Connection Magazine and Jason and Eddy at Auto Metal Direct we were able to secure a full location from which to create a mobile studio. Catherine signed autographs for fans for an hour and then sat down with us for at least another 30 minutes! Along the way we had several fun guest on the show including Jimi Day from FM3 Performance Marketing (the company behind MOPARTY), Cody Young (@CodyCrafted ), Garrett Daniels (RnDFabworks.com), Nathan Warren (@warren_customs_llc ), Corndog, Bernie, TMCP Show writer Scott Staff, and myself. We did it all too including the Drag Racing, Autocross, Swap meet and the amazing show cars. We got so much content that we put it into two shows, in fact! Listen in to TMCP #587 to hear a fascinating interview Raymond Kohn from the Northeast Ohio Dukes, YouTuber Dylan McCool, and Blake Andermann of Sublime Technologies (super cool DIY Gen 3 Hemi swap kits). Best of all though, the KF Patreon show fans turned out and we had a fantastic time hanging out together, laughing, and generally enjoying the fact that for at least 2 days...none of us had any real problems to deal with. align with the current demand for critical skills in important sectors of our economy. Essential roles have remained largely unscathed amid the pandemic chaos, and it is in these fields that a new workforce is being nurtured. In consideration of this burgeoning trend, Kevin Shaw, a thought leader in the vocational education space, emphasizes that the younger generation's shift is primarily driven by their acknowledgment of the significant role of essential workers in unpredictable times, such as the COVID crisis. It's notable that the surge in interest and enrollment in vocational trade schools has corresponded with the pandemic's timeline. A report with data accumulated by the National Student Clearinghouse in 2024 substantiates Shaw's position. According to this report, trade-focused community colleges saw an impressive increase in enrollment figures, up by 16% since 2018. Consequently, trade schools have become a progressively popular choice amongst Gen Z individuals, who are demonstrating a reluctance to pay heaps for traditional college degrees. Unveiling the profile of those opting for vocational careers, Shaw pinpoints that it isn't just a particular cohort making the transition but a wide demographic. These individuals are boldly veering towards trade-careers and reshaping the future workforce. Shaw's sentiments are shared by students who have undertaken dramatic career about-turns to engage in vocational education and refine their skills in a fitting trade.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Health Esteem is a lifetime practice, and the path looks a little different for everyone. So, how should we describe the BODi approach to people at different stages of their journey? Superstar Diamond II Coach Christine Dwyer will be asking this, as well as other questions, to our very own BODi Vice President of Personal Development and Mindset, Petra Kolber. BODi Coaches know Petra best as the author of The Perfection Detox, where she identifies the strategies to help determine what holds us back and how to harness our internal resources to propel us forward. Have you ever stood in a liquor store just looking at the labels? How about watching your favorite show and knowing what bottles are what based on shape alone? Have you ever bought a bottle based on the aesthetics alone? How about decanters and the like?  We usually talk about what's inside the bottle on this podcast, but today we're flipping the script. Companies like Stranger & Stranger are responsible for bottle design, labels, and the overall packaging that make products stand out on shelves of hundreds of competitors.  Kevin Shaw, Stranger & Stranger founder, talks through brand formation, creating a look that's iconic and representative, and the briefings from Snoop Dogg. Need a list of companies they've worked with? Try this: Compass Box, Jack Daniels, El Tesoro, Dewars, Howling Head, Powers, Ferrand, Hirsch, Bakers, Castle & Key, Beefeater, Don Papa Rum, Aberfeldy, and 19 Crimes, just to name a few of the 7,000 products they've worked on.  _________________ Before we jump into the interview just a few quick notes: If you haven't joined the Patreon community yet, please consider doing so! The $5 tier has access to the Patreon-only segment called “Under the Influencer”, where some of your favorite YouTubers/Instagrammers/Podcasters and more join me to talk whiskey, life, and influencing. This tier will also have priority access to upcoming barrel picks. The $25 tier - for people who really want to propel the pod and website forward - will have the same benefits as the $5 tier plus right of first refusal to join me on future barrel picks, access to bottles I'm sent to taste and review, and more. The first eight boxes of samples have already been sent and only 4 spots remain!  You can still support for as little as $1 a month if you'd like to stay up to date with these changes and news about what we've got coming up.  Finally, please do like and subscribe on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you're listening - it really helps the Whiskey Ring Podcast move up the rankings.  If you haven't yet, please follow Whiskey in my Wedding Ring and the Whiskey Ring Podcast on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, and subscribe to the newsletter on the website.  Thanks for reading!
