Father and Joe E472: What Faith Actually Changes — Love, Business, and the Encounter That Reorders Everything

Father and Joe

If faith changes your life, how do you explain that to someone else without overselling it? Joe Rockey and Father Boniface Hicks continue the conversation about sharing faith by asking a practical question: what has Christianity actually done for you—and can someone else receive that same gift? The answer is not that faith magically fixes every external problem. The answer is deeper: Christ transforms the interior person, and that transformation changes how we love, work, lead, suffer, build relationships, and make decisions.Father clarifies the promise: Christianity moves us toward the perfection of love. That may help a marriage, a business, or a hardship—but not by bypassing reality. If a business is failing because the market dried up, conversion will not magically create houses to sell. But if the business is failing because money, profit, or control replaced love and relationship, then Christian conversion can change everything. The more we become like Christ, the more we become harmonized with reality, because all creation is ordered through Him.Joe brings a concrete business example: through years of these conversations, Mass, Scripture, and the Eucharist, he came to see that every business is defined by two relationships—the relationship with prospects/clients and the relationship with employees. If either one is broken, the business is in danger regardless of external circumstances. Faith taught him to see business through relationship first, and that framework has helped his clients think differently about success, service, and sustainability. The episode closes with Father returning to the center: real transformation begins not with an idea, argument, or ethical rule alone, but with an **encounter with Christ**—an encounter with infinite, unconditional love that gives life a new horizon and a definitive direction. The weekly invitation is simple: notice where you are receiving love, where you are resisting it, and where you are being called to give love more freely.**Key Ideas*** Faith should not be oversold as a magic fix for every external problem.* Christianity transforms the interior person toward greater love, humility, prudence, and relationship.* Business practices rooted in relationship, dignity, and love are more aligned with reality than those built only on money or control.* Every business can be examined through two relationships: clients/prospects and employees.* Real conversion begins through an encounter with Christ's unconditional love, not merely a concept or rule.**Links & References**None explicitly referenced with a clear official/source link in this episode.**CTA:** If this helped, please leave a review or share this episode with a friend.Questions or thoughts? In the last few days JoJo Siwa has been in that sweet spot where brand building, romance headlines, and fan chatter all collide, and the throughline is that she is quietly locking in the next chapter of her post child star empire. The clearest long term play is on the water. Attitude magazine reports that Siwa has formally announced The JoJo Siwa Cruise, a three night Royal Caribbean fan voyage scheduled for June 12 to 15, 2026, aboard Utopia of the Seas, with meet and greets, Q and A sessions, dance classes she will personally lead, trivia, Build a Bow workshops, and a full Infinity Heart Tour concert at sea. PinkNews and Attitude both frame it as a deliberate expansion of her business footprint, turning her intensely branded fan experience into a destination event rather than a conventional tour stop. YouTube commentator Spill Sesh notes that pricing begins around one thousand dollars per person and that premium suites have already sold out, signaling robust demand and reinforcing Siwas long running strategy of monetizing her personal brand through curated, high margin experiences rather than just music or television. On the personal front, British celebrity weekly New! magazine is teasing what it calls a festive proposal storyline involving Siwa and former Love Island star Chris Hughes, whom she publicly confirmed as her boyfriend earlier this year in coverage carried by outlets like AOL. At this stage, a formal engagement has not been confirmed by primary reporting from major U.S. entertainment newsrooms, and any talk of rings or wedding planning remains in the realm of tabloid speculation, but the relationship itself is firmly on the record and continues to be a staple of social media and fanGet the best deals https://amzn.to/3ODvOtaThis content was created in partnership and with the help of Artificial Intelligence AI

I got introduced to a new phrase (but not a new idea) by a recent Chappell Roan interview: Walk Away Energy. When asked how she stays so chill despite all her success, Chappell Roan said it was because she has “walk away energy.” And I absolutely had to sit down and talk about that. “Walk away energy”  is similar to the detachment idea we were talking about here recently. It's the idea that you are never, ever willing to stay in something that is past its expiration date; it's the concept that you trust yourself enough to walk away from something when it's over, or when someone isn't treating you the way you deserve. It's taking all those thoughts of “But what if this is the best I can get?” and throwing them the f*ck away.  If someone isn't meeting your standards, you don't have to stick around and tell them that you deserve to be treated better.  When you have walk away energy, you don't waste your time begging for the bare minimum. You just walk away. It sounds easier than it is…but once you master it, you'll find it's your most powerful tool for attracting the kind of relationship you ACTUALLY deserve.   WORK WITH MICHELLE:  Join THE CONNECTED WOMAN, a shadow work course for the woman who is ready to break free from the anxious/avoidant dance in relationships and step into unfuckwithable confidence, security, and self-worth: https://michellepanning.com/the-connected-woman Sign up for THE EXPERIENCE, an exclusive 12-month mentorship experience where you go all in on YOU (aka, you get direct access to me as a mentor, access to every offer I run over your year, and MORE): https://michellepanning.com/the-experience   CONNECT WITH MICHELLE: Instagram: http://www.instagram.com/michellepanning Website: http://www.michellepanning.com
