(14:32) Dumb Ass News - The segment started with an app that Chaz and AJ thought was ridiculous, but Ashley loved it so much she signed up while the show was on the air. (22:14)

Ben Paletsky is a fire fighter and wedding venue owner, and had both of those worlds collide in an unfortunate incident over the weekend. Chaz and AJ had him on the phone to share the story of the wedding bus catching fire, and how he had to multi-task in real time to make sure everyone was happy. Jets legend Joe Klecko apparently saved a current US Senator from choking, and Aretha Franklin made a surprise stop at a K-Mart for stockings. (0:00) Stratford Fire Marshall Bob Daniel was on to talk about the car that crashed into a gas pump and caught fire. How do they approach an incident like that? Plus, Tribe member Boston John was on the scene when it all happened. (6:46) Michael Killen was on with another round of Killer Karaoke, which highlighted a legendary video from an old church choir tryout. (18:38) Jimmy Koplik was on to share the artist and fan feedback from the first week of the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater. Then, he took suggestions from the Tribe for the naming of his club. (34:20)  Laurie Hollander from Help Our Military Heroes and Don Shubert from the Connecticut Construction Industries Association were on to announce the final number raised, from the Chaz and AJ Maritime Chevrolet Stand Up for Vets. Ashley then ranked the most boring sports to watch, and Chaz couldn't get over the Gonzaga buzzer beater that sent them to the National Championship game. (15:03) Intern Ben was on the phone for another round of Chaz and AJ's Killer Karaoke, which prominently featured a lady giving her all for a Tina Turner performance. (24:47) Chaz and AJ pulled some clips of UConn head coach Geno Auriemma talking to the show before this season began, back in June. Geno elaborated on his frustration with fans who have too high an expectation of his team each season, and explained how COVID-19 threw a wrench into the UConn seasons - men and women's teams. (36:44) Dumb Ass News - AJ has not had any pizza for over a month, after giving up all bread for Lent. Chaz, Ashley and Phil all teased him by eating pizza in front of him. Harry and Meghan Markle spoke to Oprah for two hours last night. Chaz was trapped into watching the whole thing by Jennifer, so he saved everyone else some time by sharing everything you need to know, based on the first five minutes. In this episode of PoPolitickin, we politick with Shardé. As a young girl growing up in West LA, Shardé was exposed to many rich cultures, traditions, people and forms of musical expression. As someone who always naturally gravitated toward the power of music, Shardé regularly shared her vocal talents at church services and events. From Church, she was able to take her love of singing into new realms. She began composing her own music and even began rapping. She wrote her first song at the age of 13 called “Haters” which caught the attention of a producer. He helped her write her second song called “Dance Floor” at 15 years old, which won her 1st place in a school talent show. From there, Sharde gained a new sense of confidence. The essence of who she is, and the strength of her persona comes through her music and her performances. Shardé is the first ever winner American Airline & Essence Magazine’s “I am New and Next” competition in July 2018 at the annual Essence Festival. Before her Essence Fest win, she’s been a runner up on NBC’s “The Winner Is”, won TruTV “Killer Karaoke” and was season 3’s winner of NBC’s “The Voice” On Snapchat, in which she beat out over 20,000 people. Her largest crowd was at the Stubhub center in Carson, CA where she sang the national anthem for the National CrossFit Games. Over 10 thousand people were in attendance. Aside from performances, she has worked on her own original music where she was able to dive into who she truly was. Doing competitions was great but she wanted more. She wanted to be able to express what was in her heart. Her influences gave her a template on not only how to write and compose music, they inspired her to be herself. In her rich and powerful vocal artistry, Shardé pulls from artists like Whitney Houston for her power and resonance, Jill Scott for her soulful vibe and MIssy Elliott for her funky eclectic style. Her grit and heart came from years of perseverance. Looking to her influencers and staying true to self kept her focused and inspired. These influences have shaped her philosophy on being an artist. She believes that time is your greatest asset. Use it wisely and you can take over the world!
