This was huge for me to hear and I'm now going in this direction. Hello lovely, thanks for listening! Welcome to the Summer of Self-love! In this particular episode I'm speaking about ‘Listening to my inner child'. For me my inner child goes hand in hand with my gut instincts and my heart and it feels easy and “cozy” and all the good feels. Long story short is that I was having anxiety for not accomplishing all or most of my to-do's. When I listened to my inner child it said “it's okay”, “it's not the end of the world” and “what's the alternative?”. With these thoughts my heart rate went back to normal, my anxiety went away and I was able to go back to sleep for the rest of the night. What are we sacrificing for ignoring our inner child? And is it worth it? There are many studies that show that too much stress and anxiety will eventually lead to poor health and even death. :( I talk more about this on my newsletter or my ‘love letters'

I ended up joining Michelle's community called 'Say Yes to Desire' (formerly called 'Planner Girl Insiders') and I must say Michelle is a breath of fresh air! She designs her life and business around what lights her up and not on what others might want thus putting herself last! It's all about self-first and really self-love.

Hello...thanks for listening! Your/Our instincts are reason enough. They really are. Throughout my life (like when I moved away from my hometown years ago)...I was always asked "Why are you doing this?" or "Why are you doing that?". And when I was younger, I'd try to 'appease' those asking and make up reasons which by the way no one likes to be interrogated....no one. But I'd make up reasons or say something more accepted by society that seemed more 'logical' in answering why like (for a job) for example. As I'm getting older...I'm telling it like it is and am just answering "because I'm following my instincts". 7 ways I make money online using my skills, God given gifts and my story My first online sales came from creating my own branded products that I sold on Amazon FBA. I loved the way I had grown as a person in starting my business and wanted to share that so I started creating printables, planners and sharing my story and content. I opened my Etsy shop itstartswiththedream and remember how nervous I was, then getting my first sale. I then sold my printables on my website, then physical planners. I relaised I had to make my own traffic. I built my 100 or so subscribers by sharing free printables in Facebook groups. I created blog posts, used instagram and Pinterest. I then started making Youtube videos which I post on my blog, and use the audio on my podcast. Next I took a course called Passive Income Planner Girl by Michelle Rohr and this was the best $99 I ever spent in my business! I became an affiliate which means you get paid if people buy a product through a link. I offered a low price to buy the course before I'd made it to the people who had said they were interested. They promote my course and get a commission. That's one of my favourite ways to make an income. You have people who like what you do, simply share it with their people who it could be a great fit for! It's a win win situation. As I had these creative skills I had people ask me if I could design their printables. I started to offer creative service doing all the creative things I do for myself in my business. I have space for 2 retainer clients if you're a course creator or run a membership or program. Finally the 8th way I've made money online is by coaching or mentoring. I've run a membership where I coach women through goal setting. I also offered one to one sessions with my planner students as some wanted more help or accountability. Last week I had the opportunity to speak with Michelle Rohr and Aimee Johanan from Passive Income Planner Girl. They work together to create digital planners on how to earn passive income, they teach a course on how to implement the planners and taking 100% responsibility for your life, they also have several amazing templates for planners and even a Canva template. Honestly, they wear many hats and I am in awe of their passion and drive for the business they created and run. POWERHOUSE TEAM! In our interview we talked first about what word they are living by right now. COVID is such a bizarre time in our world and it is hard to nail down a word or phrase to motivate yourself by. As a journaler, I of course was anxious to hear what words they would chose that has driven their business and success during the lockdowns.
