If God's eternal judgment is coming upon our world, and the Lord Jesus Christ is mankind's only hope for salvation, the question is: Does there exist any secondary chance for forgiveness and eternal life for anyone who is never united to Christ in faith during their lifetime or dies with the guilt of some sin still on their record? This episode carefully answers this question and evaluates the most common doctrinal assertions that curiously claim the answer is yes. If you've had the experience working with a large company, day one consists of paperwork--lots of it--and it contributes to a poor first impression. Simply increasing the percentage of people that accept offers and actually start work would have a massive bottom-line impact. And it's not just day one. Research shows that what happens in the first 90 days of an employee's tenure plays a big role in retention. It's hard for the all-in-one HR software behemoths to be experts at every component an HR team must solve, but so is getting traction as a best-of-breed startup. That's the situation CEO Mike Ehrle walked into a year ago at Click Boarding, a SaaS that's an employee experience platform and provides modern compliant HR solutions to impact higher growth and retention rates. In this episode, Ehrle sheds some light on his experience with:Fixing internal issues and transforming to a collaborative cultureDealing with unforeseen issues he missed in his due diligence (like development staff located in Ukraine prior to Russia's invasion)The need for product and business expertise to build key relationships in target accounts.

There are no second chances. This is the only shot you get to get to heaven. Sin is missing the mark and when we sin we must ask God for His Mercy. He always gives it, but we must beg it before we meet Him on our last day. 1) The trial judge 2) why was the rich man in hell? 3) Lazarus who?
As John finishes writing the Book of Revelation, he reminds us of at least four responsibilities that we have as believers. First, we are told that we must “keep His Word.” In verse 10, John was told, “Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book…”. In other words, don't keep this revelation of end time events just for yourself, but share it with the world so that others can also find hope and be encouraged. Second, we are to be obedient servants. In verse 12, Jesus says that He is coming and that His “reward is with Him and He will give to every one according to his work.” When Jesus returns, He should find us both watching and working! Remember what we said already about the Judgment Seat of Christ and how the rewards we will be given there will determine our position of serving and ruling with Christ in His kingdom and for eternity. Third, we should keep our lives clean. Notice the contrast between verse 14 and 15. In verse 14, because we are obediently keeping the Word and doing His commandments, as proof of our salvation and love for the Lord Jesus Christ, we have “right to the tree of life and can enter the holy heavenly city.” We are given this right by receiving and believing in the Lord Jesus Christ. In John 1:12 we read, “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:” But again, notice the contrast in verse 15. “But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie.” Also go back to verse 11: “He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still." I believe that these verses are telling us that once you die and go into eternity, your destination is final. There will be no second chances or opportunities to be saved after you die. If you die in Christ with your sins forgiven, you will go into heaven and eternity clothed with righteousness and holiness of Jesus Christ. But if die without Christ, you will go into hell, and finally the lake of fire the same way you lived. For eternity you will be unjust and filthy. The lake of fire will be filled with liars, murderers, idolaters, sorcerers, and sexually immoral. Not only will it be a place of torment, it will be a place of hatred, greed, and deceit. You definitely don't want to go there. You either die in Christ or you died out of Christ! It is your choice now. And if we are followers of Jesus Christ we should keep our lives clean by daily confessing our sins (1 John 1:9), and pursuing holiness! Hebrews 12:14 “Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:” Fourth, we should be expecting Jesus Christ to return at any time. Three times in this final chapter of the Bible, Jesus proclaims that He is coming quickly (Rev. 22:7, 12, 20). Even the apostles and saints in the first century believed in the immanent return of Jesus Christ and they were looking and waiting for Him. Let me close our chat today with some verses from 1 John 3:1-3: “Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.” My friend, if you are in Christ, you have the privilege of being called a child of God! One day when we see Jesus, we will be like Him! This is the “blessed hope”! And because of this we should keep ourselves pure! God bless!

There's nothing like coming home after a long trip. It makes us appreciate wherever home is, but also opens up our eyes to some of the ways it could be, well, better. This week on No Second Chances, host Kate Graham lands back in Canada for the last episode of the season. She talks with Dr. Susan Franceschet, a professor of political science at the University of Calgary, and the incredible Marci Ien, Canada's Minister for Women and Gender Equality and Youth, to take an honest look at what it's going to take for us to build a fairer, and more equitable Canada. Here's a hint: each of us has more power than we think we do.

Rob shows main philosophical assertions of Universalists: 1. God must love everyone regardless (despite the fact that God hates people too, Hosea 9:15), 2. Thus Universalism is a necessity for man's reconciliation 3. Therefore all judgments & punishments are remedial & restorative & the proximate means to attaining salvation 4. Concluding that hell exists only as some sort of glorified Purgatory that cannot be eternal & thus its purpose will come to an end. 1. Pluralistic Universalism teaches any kind of religion will lead to heaven, 2. Non-religious Universalism teaches that everything works out okay for nonbelievers like atheists, humanists or secularists for their good in the afterlife & 3. Christian Universalism teaches God will eventually save everyone one way or another (the famous author C.S. Lewis believed in this type of Universalism, see our video "Mere Christianity by C.S. Lewis is a False Gospel & C.S. Lewis is a False Prophet Loved By All" at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDUbq... ). 03:28 - 1. Jesus said of Judas, "The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born.” Sometimes we hear that God hates the sin but loves the sinner. This is not true. A. H. Strong (“Systematic Theology,” p. 290) observes that God both hates and loves the sinner at the same time: “hates him as he is a living and wilful antagonist of truth and holiness, loves him as he is a creature capable of good and ruined by his transgression.” See Dr. Rob Zins, Th.M, Dallas Theological Seminary (website: http://www.CWRC-RZ.ORG)Christian Answers Website: https://www.biblequery.org/ for more excellent teachings.

Rio Youers is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors, and a writer I love to chat with about craft. His newest novel is No Second Chances, an action in a novel form much like his last novel Lola on Fire which we talked about in episode of 40 of this podcast. If you want Rio's origin story that is in that episode. No Second Chances and the last one Lola on Fire straight action and crime stories built entirely on the power and strength of the Rio Youers secret ingredient. Characters. This freaking Youers guy knows how to write characters with complications that we can still root for. In this episode we talk about Rio's gig adapting Owen and Stephen King's Sleeping Beauties, working with Joe Hill on a comic book project, developing this novel out of a failed Lola novel, writing action, researching California, and the importance of characters in this novel. Spoilers start at the 42-minute mark. At that point, we lift up the hood on No Second Chances for Rio's first spoiler-heavy conversation on No Second Chances. The way we train doctors is broken. J. T. Madicus experienced the flaws in the system first hand as a medical student in three different countries. Since then, he has spent years traveling the world, writing books, delivering lectures, and speaking to the doctors of tomorrow about how medical education needs to change. J. T. Madicus was first driven to medicine through a passion for learning and a strong belief that the medical sciences can be fun. Despite the best efforts of his professors to stamp the joy out of medical education, he persevered in this belief. He started creating entertaining YouTube lectures under the name Future Doc House. His videos made complex medical subjects like microbiology fun to learn about and easy to understand. They took off. Thousands of medical students from around the world started turning to J. T. Madicus to help them better understand their lessons and recapture the joy and curiosity that drove them to study medicine in the first place. J. T. Madicus doubled down on his mission and decided to harness modern technology to improve the student experience. He teamed up with a group of European and international entrepreneurs to create QUPI, the world's largest medical question bank. This lead to a series of lecture tours across the United Kingdom, and span off into the QUPI Legacy Foundation which advocates for policy level change, as explained in J. T's first book, Is There a Doctor Aboard? An Urgent Call for Change in Medical Education and Government Policy. What made J. T. ‘s YouTube videos so popular was a flair for storytelling and a charismatic delivery. J. T. channeled this into a novel, Final Diagnosis: No Second Chances that embeds real life medical lessons within a gripping plot with a flavor of action and espionage. The novel received rave reviews, and is now being transformed into the No Second Chances TV Series! The first episode of No Second Chances will be released in mid 2020 and you can learn more about it on this website. J. T. plans to keep the series going, and is already exploring ideas for new creative projects. When he is not busy writing books and producing his TV shows, J. T. channels his creative energies into activist projects like AquaDawn, and spends time with his wife and their two young children. He divides his time between his native California and Europe. #Instagram https://www.instagram.com/suckitpodcast #Facebook https://www.facebook.com/suckitpodcast #Twitter https://www.twitter.com/suckit_podcast #Merch Store: https://www.dckproductions.com/shop #Betterhelp : https://www.betterhelp.com/sipod #H2one #Handsanitizer : https://h2one.com/ #VIKING REVOLUTION AFFILIATE LINKS Viking Revolution Beard Kit https://amzn.to/2E7ca83 Viking Revolution Beard Wash and Conditioner https://amzn.to/2OInwBg Viking Revolution Beard Oil 3 pack https://amzn.to/2CpXY9S Viking Revolution Beard Balm 3 pack https://amzn.to/32FT3vT Viking Revolution Pomade https://amzn.to/3eSFVpM Viking Revolution Quick Shower Wipes https://amzn.to/3fO6ii5 Viking Revolution Toilet Wipes https://amzn.to/32I8oMC MY FAVORITE #AMAZON PROUCTS AFFILIATE LINKS The #headphones I use From Beats https://amzn.to/2WG28RE My stream #camera bundle https://amzn.to/2CrhXFb #Elgato Cam Link https://amzn.to/3fP9D01 My Favorite Cooking Device https://amzn.to/39iNmWb My Favorite Beer Glasses https://amzn.to/2OMo6OF #beardedmen #vikingrevolution #beard #podcast #suckit #suckitpodcast #derek #music #celebrityinterviews --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/thedarksideofmusic/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/thedarksideofmusic/support

Jesus calls us not just to believe in him, but to follow him with our lives. But he doesn't force us to follow him. It's an invitation, but we have to respond. Join us this week in part 10 of our series, Follow Me, as we study another story where Jesus lovingly, but firmly warns us of the danger we're facing in the next life if we choose to live without him in this life.
