How do you tell someone they're wrong… without condemning them?John Ortberg explores one of the most important distinctions in communication: the difference between tone and heart. Tone can be soothing or jarring. But the heart must always be love.Looking at Matthew 23, where Jesus confronts religious leaders with blistering language, John asks: Was Jesus condemning them? Or was something deeper happening? You'll discover:- Why condemnation is not the same as moral clarity- The difference between contempt and courage- What “malice + disgust” really means- Why Jesus compares himself to a mother hen- How to speak the truth in love without losing your soulDrawing from Romans 8, Matthew 23, Luke 19, and a reflection by Barbara Brown Taylor, this episode offers a powerful prayer for Lent:“God, give me the right heart. Then show me the right tone.”If you're navigating conflict, leadership, parenting, or hard conversations — this one matters.Download the free NO CONDEMNATION COMMITMENT: https://bit.ly/NC-commitment
Should you tell people you're autistic or keep your diagnosis private? For many autistic adults, disclosure is one of the hardest decisions after diagnosis. It can bring relief, connection, and freedom… or confusion and disappointment. On this episode of the Adult Autism: A Spectrum of Uniqueness podcast, Dr. Quarto talks about why disclosure is such an emotionally charged decision and how it connects to identity, safety, and living more authentically. You'll learn five key things to consider before telling someone you're autistic, including how to tell if a person is emotionally safe, how to check your own readiness, and how to decide what - and how much - you want to share. This episode is for autistic adults who want to live more honestly, protect their well-being, and make decisions that truly fit who they are. And if this episode speaks to you, check out Dr. Quarto's upcoming online course: Unmasked: Living Authentically as an Autistic Adult. Has people sometimes we are always Quick to tell someone our true that is what we think about them. But we have to be careful our truth doesn't become there hurt and they start thinking about there truth about us. Which would hurt us too. God is calling us has the church to become a reflection of him not our old self wearing the badge of a Christian. Because we will turn others away from him God is Holy and we have to be careful how we behave towards people inside and outside the church because God has no wish that anyone should perish i listen to a bible study online by a Minster who we call Bishop but he says he is not a bishop but when you ask QUESTION he gives you a answer and if you are going to come against it. you have to bring the chapter and verse from the bible to back it. He is so refreshing people want to be around people who make them feel valued and God has called us to be those people thank you for listening to blessed and free 63 where Jesus christ is Lord

In this episode, the Agony Aunties discuss a delicate and complex issue brought up by a listener whose partner's brother has two adult daughters conceived using a sperm donor. Despite being aware of the donor conception, the daughters have never been told, and the listener seeks advice on whether and how they should be informed. The Agony Aunties emphasise the importance of the biological parents handling the conversation and suggest seeking support from organisations like the Donor Conception Network. They also recommend exploring personal fears around disclosure and preparing for the conversation through therapy. Throughout the discussion, they highlight the roles family members can play in providing support and maintaining strong relationships. If you're a regular listener to the program, you may remember the caller 'Anonymous' from Lockport, who described the rather toxic relationship her 21 year old son was in and how she was urging him to get out of it. Have you ever been in the shoes of 'Anonymous', have you ever had to have the uncomfortable conversation with someone close to you that you didn't approve of someone they were in a relationship with?

Unfortunately some people avoid those difficult conversations altogether. This is a crucial step to maintain positive relationships and uphold a company's reputation. Anyone in a leadership role should be well trained on how to handle informing qualified, yet unsuccessful, candidates that they didn't get the job. To start, honesty is the best policy. Being truthful yet respectful is important when delivering the news to a candidate who didn't get the job. Maintain transparency and communicate the reasons behind the decision. This helps give them clarity, while maintaining the individual's view of the company and the possibility of future opportunities. When you are making hiring decisions remember that patience pays off. Throughout my experiences at Marriott and Disney I saw the long-term benefits of holding out for the right candidate. By prioritizing quality over speed, I was able to make strategic hiring decisions that ultimately led to success for both the individuals and the organizations in the long run. Once you make a decision, be proactive in your communication. Rather than keeping multiple candidates waiting, inform candidates of their status after each interview. This demonstrates respect for the candidates' time and allows both parties to move forward with clarity. This is a way to ensure a positive hiring experience even for those not selected for the role. Remember, every interaction in the hiring process shapes your company's reputation and culture. Make sure to listen to this episode for more on handling job rejections and the significance of perseverance and patience in the hiring process.
