Points of discussion:1. Why are package refreshes so hot right now?2. Here's our series thesis: There are more breweries today in the US than anytime in history, yet consumers are drinking less beer. This has led to flat-to-declining sales for breweries of all sizes across the country. The fallout? Marketing budgets are tighter than ever. But this comes at a time when investing in your branding, packaging and marketing is more important due to all the aforementioned competition. This means that breweries are carefully weighing their options and investing where they expect to see an outsized return. In this landscape, package refreshes have emerged as a compelling strategy to stay top of mind with consumers. 3. Package Refresh vs. a deeper rebrand: On weighing risk vs. reward 4. Cost is subjective here5. Your packaging is dusty (it hasn't been updated since…)6. You've gone through several in-house designers and/or agency partners and can clearly see the inconsistent label design style strata across your different brands7. Your sales are flat (but not in a free fall)8. Things are going well (you're winning new placements and sales are increasing YOY) and you want to invest in your brand while the sun's shining9. You've rationalized your portfolio and want to clean everything up now that you have a clear set of priorities 10. Package Refresh as a stop gap: You're planning on a deeper branding effort in the coming years, but still need to make a change now11. You need to address an Intellectual Property (IP) issue 12. What exactly is a ‘brand evolution'? Just like a personal evolution, a brand also requires the creator to dig deep and ask the hard questions like: Am I showing up in a way that feels good and is helpful to my audience? Does my design style represent the vibe and vision I want to portray? Is my brand still showcasing my values? In this episode, Sundae Bean uncovers how a brand's evolution directly correlates to one's willingness to adapt and change to their own world, and to the one around them. “There was enough discomfort and clarity to push me to change.” Sundae takes listeners on her personal brand evolution, providing insights about how to get the most out of the process. She expounds on what true growth might feel like within your body and how to work with it. She also discusses how to collaborate with outside agencies to help you through this journey. Sundae Schneider-Bean is an intercultural strategist, a transformation facilitator, and a solution-oriented coach. She supports individuals and organizations as they traverse through (and flourish beyond!) life quakes and other major shifts – no matter where they are. For almost a decade, her location-independent business has served individuals and world-class organizations from over 60 countries across six continents. Sundae's mission is to help clients achieve ambitious goals while navigating transition. She leads several online groups with thousands of members and hosts the popular weekly podcast IN TRANSIT with Sundae Bean. Formerly known as Expat Happy Hour, it has enjoyed a top 5% global rank for six years straight. Today's episode is long overdue. For the last (almost) four years, Emma has been working with personal trainer and nutritionist Meg Morat. Not only has Emma learned so much about diet, exercise, and everything in between, but her and Meg have formed a friendship, too (Meg was at the wedding!). In this episode, you'll hear Emma's usual WTHIBD (What The Hell I've Been Doing) + RWL (Reading, Watching, Listening), and then a full hour with Meg that covers a bunch of listener-submitted questions but far beyond those, too. Meg answers things like cardio or weights first? What is the perfect cardio to weight lifting ratio? Do fad diets or drugs work? How to start at home when you're not ready for the gym? How to get back into fitness postpartum, and SO much more. There's a lot of nuggets to be tucked away for later from this episode, and we hope you love it! When we talk about balance, regardless of how you define it, you need to have three things. 1. God first in your life 2. Community and 3. Systems that help you live in a balanced way. This week we are focusing on number two, community. There are many components to building community, but what we are focusing on this week is all about bringing in more joy to your life (because that is what this whole 7 week series is all about) by loving on others. When we focus on others and love on them, it's easy to forget about the little things that are weighing us down. Plus, as you live in your purpose of building up others and loving on them, you are becoming more like Christ and that kind of alignment with the Spirit naturally produces more joy. Trust me. Give it a try and get ready to see some serious shifts in your life. REFRESH – Gaining Perspective, Power and Purpose to live for God’s glory (2 of 5)Key Verse: Colossians 1:1010 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;Main Point: Living to please God brings Him glory and grants us clarity and simplicity for our lives.Introduction:2 Corinthians 5:9-15 Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. 11 Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known in your consciences.12 For we do not commend ourselves again to you, but give you opportunity to boast on our behalf, that you may have an answer for those who boast in appearance and not in heart. 13 For if we are beside ourselves, it is for God; or if we are of sound mind, it is for you. 14 For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died; 15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. We will be looking at this portion of scripture to consider our purpose for living in order to simplify our lives and get rid of things that cause us unnecessary grief. To ask ourselves what it is that we are aiming for in life. We will draw out 3 characteristics that are required in order to live to please God.Living to please God requires being:Intentional 2 Corinthians 5:9 "Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him." Daniel 1:8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s delicacies, nor with the wine which he drank; therefore he requested of the chief of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.Matthew 3:17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”Accountable (2 Cor 5:10) For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. 2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.James 5:16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, [b]fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.Reasonable (2 Cor 5:14) For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if One died for all, then all died;Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

Summer refresh week five is here! This week we are getting super tactical and practical. This whole 7-week series is all about bringing more joy into your life. But here is the thing, it's hard to feel joy when we are distracted by the things undone around us. 99 is a podcast series: 99 episodes in 9-minute installments, each of which serves as a refuge, a challenge, or a little of both. Think of it like individual steps on a quest. Each step is an opportunity to spend time thinking...feeling. Each step is a little journey of its own, and each step is one part of a larger pilgrimage. In Islam, there is a teaching that there are at least 99 names for the divine – for Allah – and each one of those names has a special quality. Full disclosure, this isn’t about Islam…. Rather, that’s where the journey begins. Each episode, we’ll take a brief moment to center ourselves – away from the distractions of the world, then we’ll explore the day’s theme and invite you to check in with whatever guides you. Complete one or all 99 – either way, this is 9 minutes just for you. More at prolificate.com/99
