In this episode of Money Tales, our guest is Mirela Sula. At the age of 16, Mirela found herself in her home country of Albania, engaged to be married. She was married by the age of 18, trading her freedom for safety. Mirela lived with a large family in a small village, where there was no money to even discuss. Her role was clear – to wash, to clean, and to serve the family. At the same time, she continued to pursue her education, gaining knowledge, and with that, came confidence and exposure to the world outside. As Mirela progressed in her studies, she began to understand the importance of financial independence and worked aggressively toward it. Mirela is a British journalist, author, and CEO and Founder of Global Woman Magazine and Global Woman Club. She is an internationally recognized leader in the fields of media, education, and women's empowerment. I'm motivated to have a conversation about the evolution of learning with all of you. Without further delay let's engage in conversation. According to the American Institute of Stress 80% of workers feel stress on the job, nearly half say they need help in learning how to manage stress and 42% say their coworkers need such help. To bring some context to this discussion I want to introduce you, to Adam Strong. Adam Strong is an Ultra-High Personal Productivity Authority, Business Strategist, Author, Public Speaker and the Founder of the Game Changers Experience. Adam was a former elite athlete in distance running (current world and Olympic champion Sir Mo Farah was his former training partner) and teaches the same success principals creating high energy and fast growing companies. I lived near to a golf course which was going to be the corner stone of my first business. So I started to run up and down the fairway, wading through streams with a fishing net and exploring undergrowth in a search for lost golf balls. Naturally the golfers were more than a little curious about why a young lad was walking around their course with a bucket and fishing net. I'd show them the rescued golf balls and offer to sell them. Most said yes and I quickly learnt two things. The branded Dunlop and Slazenger balls would be worth 2/3 times more than an unbranded one. But only If they were undamaged. But to make any money I had to quickly learn how to negotiate. They'd offer me ‘X' and I would haggle and haggle for a higher price until both of us were happy. Every time I came back with deep pockets of coins, I'd give some to my mum and save the rest. At the same time – maybe because of all that running around the golf course – I got into long distance running, some people though I was mad because I suffered from asthma! But a big advantage of running to me was that it didn't need too much money to get started and the more I ran the more my confidence returned and the better I got. This is when I met my first coach, a guy who was well versed in turning normal joe public people into champions. He helped me become an elite long-distance runner because I was willing to listen and determined to do work other kids were not. I learned so much from him. Things like, distractions will destroy your progress; when you eliminate them, getting into the zone becomes simpler and more productive. This culminated with being a training partner of Sir Mo Farah (currently world and Olympic champion in 5,000 and 10,000 metres). That's when I had my second breakthrough. The determination, creativity and mindset techniques world class athletes use to achieve impossible results could also be used to help entrepreneurs achieve the same thing. Behind every successful entrepreneur is that one decision, that one defining moment, that changed it all. And many times, we don't hear about the entrepreneurial challenges, but rather we just see the enormous success via social media or other digital mediums. I had a big vision but no evidence to support it besides my own determination and faith. In this episode, Mirela Sula, an Albanian native left her entire life behind to move to the UK with her son. This leap of faith allowed her to start her dream life from scratch and build an international business that supports women. Mirela is the founder and owner of Global Woman, with an organization of over 100,000 female entrepreneurs. She's also the owner of five magazines, author of 15 books, leader of 27 clubs around the world. What you will learn: Why Mirela decided to leave her comfortable life and successful career in Albania to start all over from scratch in the UK What major shifts allowed her to turn her big dream into reality What her key tips are to achieve your goals and make real impact Find Mirela Online Websites: Mirela Sula & Global Woman Club Instagram: @mirela.sula_globalwoman Facebook: Mirela Sula LinkedIn: Mirela Sula Share Your Love! “Culture” is starting to feel like more of a generality, don't you think? Companies fall back on pleasantries when describing day-to-day operations, and the one word that always comes up is “culture.” But what is good culture, and why is it so difficult to define? After all, team members need (and deserve) more than a pat on the back and a pizza party to establish company culture. In this week's episode, we speak with the Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer for Nymbus, Allison Netzer, for a conversation on company culture, and employer brand as an output of a culture-focused business. Is culture a measurable component of your brand? Is it possible to master culture while growing a brand?Let's get started!MINDSETS: Reference Scorecards - Beyond the fact that Allison *hates* KPIs, it's important to keep your goals measurable. You may score points with business jargon, for example, but does that have an internal or external benefit? Racking up points on a “scorecard” and understanding what those mean for your operations will help to shift focus to where the dollars are. Effectively, it's the culture of measurement! Don't Commission Consultants (yet) - Okay, you may NEED consultants, but let's be real — an extension of a company is a lot better than a rebuild, which consultants are more likely to suggest. Refine your business and connect the dots when things go astray — you likely have more data than you realize. Culture by Inertia v. Intention - It's nice for a company culture to build itself, but it's more likely that intentional work needs to get done (not all brands can be Starbucks). The key word here is INTENTION. Culture doesn't grow the way you want it to without active, intentional guidance. Humans Do the Work and Need Engagement - AI isn't a replacement, it's a HUMAN tool, and humans deserve substance. Keep your teams engaged socially and intellectually, and most importantly, keep them happy. Success comes from within. You see engagement in people's actions, not surveys – when they see the vision and do the work without being asked, THAT is an indicator of your effectiveness. SKILLSETS: Master the Mission Statement - Get it, believe it, and execute it. Is your company culture clear enough for the masses? The mission statement can't stop at a ‘vision exercise.' It needs to be actionable and definitive in a way that makes your team capable to move the vision forward. Marketing/Branding at the Strategy Table - As Allison puts it, there's a perception that CMOs are just the “executives with the crayons,” and a change in branding requires a change in leadership. That's not necessarily the case. Rather, Marketing as a skillset needs to be brought into the early stages of strategy development — that can only succeed with good, active leadership. Communication and Participation - Is your CMO a “team player,” or do they have blinders on to meet a singular vision? A good CMO is working with the financial team, data team, and other leadership for a cohesive vision. Persistence - People may let a financial analysis, for example, go on FOREVER. But when it comes to a marketing campaign, people expect results after a week or two. That is NOT the case; rather, you need to be persistent in your vision in the same way that a salesperson is persistent with their pitch. Break Down the Doors - Unless you're making space in work meetings, you won't get the empathy you need as a team player. ALWAYS get into the board meetings and stay involved. TOOLSETS: Corporate Calendar/Google Calendar Quantitative & Qualitative Data Team Meetings Kantar Brandz Report RESULTS:One of the very first things the Nymbus CEO did to improve company culture was to make every employee a shareholder. The second thing they did was avoid the glitzy executive hires first. Third, everything from hires to layoffs happened in the public space, making for a tremendously transparent company.By making every employee a shareholder, workers were given equal value, and thus a reason to care about the solution and the product/service that Nymbus sells. This has put Nymbus in a tremendous sales point that has been both successful and fun, despite any difficulties that come from the financial services industry. A bit more about Allison:Allison Netzer is a best-selling author and the Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer for Nymbus, a company dedicated to assisting the banking industry and global financial service organizations with breakthrough banking tech products. Her 2022 book Think Like a Brand, Not a Bank has been praised for its no-nonsense deep dive into the emerging landscape of financial technology. But, to be clear, Benson has never looked at herself with the term ‘female firefighter.'“I'm a firefighter who is female. Becoming Unapologetically Me is the podcast for people who know there is more stuck inside them and they want to find a way to release it.In this episode, host Helen Norbury talks to Lucy Power about diversity and inclusion, particularly with reference to neurodivergence and LGBTQ+. Lucy is a qualified and ICF professional certified Coach with a postgraduate qualification in Personal and Business Coaching from the University of Chester. She is also extensively trained and experienced in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy and integrates this with her coaching practice. Following a complex childhood drenched in overwhelm, Lucy has spent all of her adult life searching for meaning and gathering knowledge about how we operate in our hardest and in our best times. Lucy has studied psychology, philosophy, business administration and leadership, psychotherapy, group psychology, interpersonal neurobiology and complex trauma. She has a Masters in Social Work and has worked with marginalised and traumatised people with complex mental health struggles for years. Lucy, a Global Woman of Choice award winning community builder, is committed to equity and belonging, recognising and working to change social marginalisation, Lucy is a proud member of the LGBTQI+ community. Find Lucy at @iamlucypower and www.the-power.institute.comIn this conversation that covers a wide-range of topics, Lucy and Helen talk about how shame grows in the darkness and prevents us from becoming an unapologetic version of ourselves. The biggest blocker to equity is actually the misconception that “normal” even exists. No-one is easy to group and we are all multi-dimensional beings, differing in our age, race, gender, sexuality, needs, wants, desires and more. Maybe that in itself is where we find the place to belong - we are all worthy, loveable, enough and important and that is a great place to find connection. Key Takeaways“We are born princes and the civilizing process makes us frogs” - Eric BerneShame and apology prevent intimacy and vulnerability and ultimately block you from becoming the unapologetic version of youFitting in by pretending to be like your oppressors gets in the way of true belonging“The greatest burden a child must bear is the unlived life of its parents” - Carl JungSelf awareness and not betraying yourself is the greatest self-care you can offer yourself. Becoming Unapologetically Me is the podcast for people who know there is more stuck inside them and they want to find a way to release it.In this episode, host Helen Norbury speaks to the passionate and energetic Tina Brigley. Tina is a 4x Globee Business award winner; TedX speaker and authentic leadership coach. She has been in Forbes; Global Woman and Thrive Global magazines. She is passionate about helping people to uncover their invisible chains and help them break free of the box they put themselves in, so they can live a life of creation. Tina believes that Who we were before life happened is who we get to be - Free, Loving and Courageous. When we notice that life is made up of a series of patterns and habits, it opens the door to so many possibilities. The personal development journey is really - at its heart - about growing our own self awareness so that we can choose to feel enough in every sense of the word. In this episode, Tina cautions about the role of social media in creating the rabbit hole of compare and despair, particularly where young people are concerned. It can become a self-fulfilling prophecy where we believe we are not enough and then via social media seek out the evidence of where this is true. When we follow creators rather than influencers, we are shaping our possibilities in the direction of leadership.Tina shares in this episode how she was a former “lone wolf” and didn't trust anyone to match up to the extremely high expectations she had of herself. What Tina recognised was that she used her childhood stories and beliefs of “people let me down” to keep others at distance and feel the need to do everything herself. Recognising this habit and pattern - and healing the roots of it - offered Tina so many choices to become the amazing woman she is today. She is no longer a lone wolf and knows when to ask for help so she can continue the journey of supporting women to Reclaim their Feminine Power and Boss their Business! Key TakeawaysWhat if we could see our own blindspots and learn to get out of our own way?Personal awareness is the key to solving all of our problems. Without this we act based on triggers and our comfort zone. You can choose to step into your power and choose who you get to be right now; or you can allow yourself to choose to be a victim, stay in your comfort zone and be less than the best version of yourself. We get to be courageous through our lived experience of being fearful.Followers don't produce leadersDon't forget to subscribe and rate us so we can grow and help more people.Visit www.helenannenorbury.co.uk for more information.Episode SponsorsPaul Culshaw offers group and private one-on-one coaching, enabling you to go from stressful confusion to empowering clarity with a step-by-step organic marketing strategy and plan.Gain the support you need to set up your business online, and start to optimise it to attract leads and sales. About Adam Strong: Your childhood forms you. But does it define you? My childhood wasn't easy. It was tough being raised in a single-parent family. Don't get me wrong, my younger brother and I were well loved. But we lived on state benefits to eat and survive. Things were often so tight my brother and I used to share the main Christmas present. Then at the age of nine, my life was changed forever when I began to suffer from alopecia. If you don't know what that is, that's okay it's a condition that caused me to lose all my hair. Imagine what that does to a child. It was crushing. Not surprisingly, I began to suffer from low self-esteem, constant embarrassment, and zero confidence. And when I wasn't, there always seemed to be someone judging me. For two years, things were very, very tough. I felt hollow. But then, I had a breakthrough. Although I didn't know it was a breakthrough at the time. My eleven-year-old mind decided I wouldn't live my life like that. I wouldn't be judged by people because of how I looked or where I came from. I wanted to make a difference; I wanted to contribute to my family and the people around me. But how? That's when I got my first taste of entrepreneurship. Today, I'm an Ultra-high Personal Productivity Authority, thought leader, and public speaker. I've interviewed entrepreneurs, influencers, and elite athletes such as Jack Canfield, Dr. John DeMartini, Sharon Lechter, Neil Fachie, Jonathan Horton, and more to learn their methods and secrets. I've also shared the stage with John Travolta, 50 cent, Vanilla Ice, Calvin Klein, and more. I've been featured on the front cover of Influential People Magazine, Global Woman magazine, and Steer Magazine. Also featured in the Huffington Post, The Guardian newspaper, People Management magazine, and others. I'm also the founder and presenter of ‘The Game Changers Experience' Podcast, where I share my insights and interviews with entrepreneurs, influencers, Olympic Athletes, and Industry authorities. Not bad for a nine-year-old with no confidence or hair. All of this is because I made a decision not to be ordinary. Not to be like everyone else. And now, I'm helping others achieve the goals and dreams they want by using the range of abilities I've learned from being different. This is Episode 66 of the Dr. Finance® Live Podcast hosted by Dr. Anthony M. Criniti IV (aka “Dr. Finance®”). Dr. Criniti interviewed Cherie Mathews, "cancerpreneur," serial entrepreneur, cancer survivor, educator, speaker, and technology expert. Cherie Mathews is a former IBMer specializing in computer engineering technology, failure analysis, research, and development. She worked on special projects for NASA and reversed engineered the latest technology before it went to market. She is a 20-year breast cancer survivor, the Founder, and CEO of an Austin, Texas-based company called Healincomfort that has won many innovative awards nationally and internationally recognized as an innovator. Recently recognized and awarded the Global Woman in the category of Inspiration Award. Cherie's company, Healincomfort, is appropriately named because, from personal experience, it was the last thing that occurred while on the road to recovery. Healincomfort is committed to helping women and men (yes, men get breast cancer too) heal in comfort and with dignity after mastectomy surgery in the battle against breast cancer with her award-winning, patented post-operative garment that allows the patient to look like a person and not a science experiment, it's all about comfort and dignity. Elisabeth is a badass! She found out decades ago that her subconscious mind needed to be reprogrammed by picking up a book in 1989. She didn't know that she was asleep and that she had a subconscious mind. She learned that if she changed her focus and chunked things down, she would be able to achieve more. The crazy thing....most people today 30 years later still don't know this. She also discovered that at a young age that without money and financial literacy she would be a slave. As a child she was told "you'll never amount to anything and that you're not going to do good" And even though she was young and living a life that would be Instagram worthy and was a beautiful woman, she felt unworthy! Does that sound familiar? Sounds too familiar to me. Without knowing she was doing deep personal development to heal her childhood wounds she was reprogramming her subconscious to find the good in life. I absolutely loved this interview and we had a blast! Elisabeth Villiger Toufexis is not just an amazing inspiring woman, she is one that is making the world a better place. She works to educate women and get them the financial and business literacy that is needed. She is connected to many great organizations like the Global Woman's Club of Cyprus. She is a motivational speaker, a coach, an NLP practitioner and a wonderful human. You can find her on:IG - @elisabethvilligertoufexis FB & YT - Elisabeth Villiger ToufexisShe is lighting up the world and made my day brighter because of her realness.
My guest in this episode knows a thing or two about low self-esteem! Raised in a strict Irish Catholic family, Amanda Ryall never felt like she fitted in at home or at school. Helen Wills talks to Amanda about how he struggled with academic work and thought of herself as 'stupid,' eventually seeking validation in the views of others for her self-worth. Amanda eventually realised that the needy behaviour she used to get attention as as child didn't work in the adult world, and set about changing her outlook on life and her own happiness. We talk about: How we unknowingly take on our family narrative, and how it impacts our thought processes.Labelling, and the self-perpetuating nature of our own perceptions. The conflict between academic pressure and being an individual that makes school expectations so difficult to navigate whilst holding onto who you are.Showing up in the world and making your actions count in other ways than through academic merit. How for some jobs the best person isn't necessarily the one with the most academic qualifications. Resilience, strength and perseverance count for just as much. How freeing it is to know that there isn't just one path to success. How spending time on yourself isn't selfish, and how freeing ourselves from the pressure of the "to-do" list helps us control stress and improve self-esteem.The value of unconnected timea alone, and how to listen to your inner (real) voice instead of your ego's expectations of you.How to fill your own void rather than waiting for someone/something else to do it for you. Who is Amanda Ryall? Amanda is the best-selling author of I Choose Me, and creator of the Mood Munchers book series for children. She was nominated for Global Woman of the Year 2020, and is now the host of her own podcast You Choose You Now, where she talks about letting go of negative self-talk, instead choosing who you are really meant to be. In this week's Everyday Conversations Podcast, Associate Speaker Colette Aikema speaks with author, Global Woman of Vision award recipient, and personal friend Gerda Vandenhaak. She is the author of Geertje: War Seen Through the Eyes of a Child as an Adult. It tells her story of growing up in the Netherlands during the Second World War. The injustice and confusion she experienced in wartime caused her to question God's goodness. Yet through the redeeming work of the Spirit, God used her and her late husband mightily to share the Gospel through conversations at home in Canada and all over the world. Gerda's story, she says, is really God's story of redeeming our lives for the upbuilding of God's kingdom.

Today's guest is Fran Boorman, Co-Founder and CEO of Goal 17, an award winning mission driven business, who believes there isn't a problem a partnership can't fix. After an unlikely meeting with Keith Mabbutt, an ex-footballer and founder of The Street Soccer Foundation, Fran and Keith decided to partner up and create Goal 17 to put an end to youth homelessness through the power of football. Turns out, business for good, is good for business. That's right, weeks after launching Goal 17, the company won one of Dragon Den's Theo Paphitis' SBS Business awards, beating 370,000 other entries. But the awards didn't stop there. After just five months old, Goal 17 went on to be recognised as having the number one sport mentoring programme in the UK, winning at the prestigious National Mentoring Awards. What's even crazier, is that Goal 17, through the Street Soccer Foundation, have managed to partner up with a series of Premiere League football clubs, including West Ham United FC and Liverpool FC, to tackle youth homelessness and provide companies with a pioneering mentoring programme for their employees. The impact of their work is remarkable and I dare you to watch their intro video and not get emotional. Seriously, good luck with that… Oh, and following her recent social media campaign, #PurposeOverPouts, calling out influencers to use their reach to make a positive difference, Fran was named the UKs number one Influencer by Global Woman. This is an incredible story of hope, perseverance and a powerful reminder of why no impact is an island. I hope you enjoy this very special interview and I can't wait to hear what you got out of this week's episode of #TheUnconventionalists podcast! PS: Fun fact - the name Goal 17 is inspired by the United Nations' Goals for Sustainable Development. The 17th goal is about creating partnerships and collaborations for effective positive change which according to Fran's website, embodies Goal 17's mission. Enjoy! The Theresa and Eddie Show - Life and Business With the Woman On TOP
Mary Ann Thompson Frenk is the daughter of the former 7-11 Corporation founders. She was born in Mexico, adopted by these amazing people. She is one of the most humble, genuine, passionate and giving people I have encountered. I strongly feel like it is important for people to be aware of this. Why? Because while her history is intriguing, she has created her own legacy - one I wouldn’t be able to match, not in this lifetime! Mary Ann shares with us about her family’s history and their unexpected tension and problems with the KKK, growing up adopted from Mexico, and how humanitarianism has just been a part of her life as a child. While there is much more to this story, she has taken these values her family has taught her and continues to live and create a life full of purpose. Mary Ann is literally on a mission to change this world. Today, Mary Ann Thompson-Frenk is a humanitarian, conscious-capitalist, published writer, internationally award winning sculptor, (recognized by the Buckminster Fuller Institute for being the first artist to innovate on geodesics to create the human figure), human rights/environmental activist, social-responsible investor (including Women That Soar and multiple eco-conscious startups) and frequently requested international speaker. She has spoken at and moderated forums around the globe including for NEXUS at the United Nations and White House, Parliament of World Religions, TEDx, The Club of Budapest, the Cordoba Initiative, The Temenos Academy of Integral Studies and was the keynote speaker for 64th World Congress of Women Entrepreneurs in November 2016. She serves as President and co-founder of The John Philp Thompson Foundation and as President for The Memnosyne Institute, an international non-profit she co-founded with her husband, Joshua. Through it, they have supported programs around the world focused on empowering humanity to address the challenges of an increasingly interconnected world - leading them both to be identified by three-time-nominated-Nobel- Peace-Prize Dr. Ervin Laszlo as two of the “21st Century Visionary Thinkers” leading innovative humanitarianism for their “social acupuncture” model. She has been published in various magazines including The Transpersonal Psychology Association's “The Transcender", YPO's Real Leaders Magazine which recognized her as a “Real Young Leader to watch on the international scene, contributed chapters to various books including “Dawn of The Akashic Age: New Consciousness, Quantum Resonance, and The Future of The World” by Dennis Kingsley and Ervin Laszlo, “Developing A Global Agenda: Expert Insight from the inaugural STEP Global Congress” collected by STEP, “Sparks of Genius: Powerful Sparks of Creative Insight from 100+ Global Thought Leaders” collected by Julie Ann Turner, and most recently contributed the USA portion of Mirela Sula’s newest book titled, "50 Inspiring Voices of Migrant Women" addressing the current human rights challenges of immigrant women in the USA, serves as the editor for “Empower” Journal, and has been on the cover of other publications including London’s “Global Woman”, “Mujer USA”, “Femme International”, Argentina’s “Revista La Auténtica”, Belgium’s “Business Fit Magzine”, and “Forbes Mexico”. She has received numerous awards for her humanitarian work. Most recently, in 2018 she was Awarded the Inspirique Award at Harvard University and presented the Civic Pioneer Award at the United Nations in November which is one of the highest awards a female citizen of the USA can receive and is entered into the congressional record. She is currently working towards setting up “Memnosyne Mexico” in an effort to further the reach of The Memnosyne Institute’s humanitarian work and empower communities in Mexico, pursuing ordination as an interfaith minister and her most recent regional goals include continuing The Memnosyne Institute’s GreenSourceDFW and FoodSourceDFW initiatives, working with Rev. Do you have regrets about the choices you’ve made regarding having or not having children? Many people make a decision and then wish they had made a different choice, but not my guest today. She made the conscious decision to NOT become a mother and to pursue her own dreams in life. Yamini Toohey is based in Sydney, Australia, and is an astrologer, educator, entrepreneur, and the founder of Global Woman. One of her favourite things in life is seeing women get energised about stepping into their power, finding a life that’s theirs, and living revolutionary lives. She believes that this time of personal, cultural, and planetary change is the time to bring forth new ways of living, relating, and economy. Yamini started Global Woman because she wholeheartedly believes that the revolution will be feminist-connected and global. Every day she goes to bat for her Global Woman sisterhood, helping them to call on their intuition and hustle, slashing through obstacles fearlessly, boldly, and powerfully. Yamini’s soul work champions women to explore, evolve, and embody boldness, fierceness, creativity, power, and ambition, which are universal themes in every woman’s life. I can highly recommend Yamini’s work! "It took me a long time to love and understand my menstrual cycle and realise that it is a creative act. It helped me be curious about the world and want to create." Yamini Toohey What you’ll hear in this episode: As one of eight children, Yamini saw that mothering was hard work and caused her mother to give up a lot of herself. She chose to be childfree, saying, “There is no way I could do this.” How she felt pressure, not from her mother, but from others who would say, “Your time is running out!” Complete strangers would pass judgment on her fertility, but she never waivered about her decision. How she made unconscious decisions to have relationships with men who were NOT interested in having children. How she became pregnant once, but then miscarried, which was the best thing that could have happened. It taught her that she couldn’t be carefree about birth control if she clearly didn’t want children. Having and raising a child is serious business and should not be taken lightly. How some men assume that EVERY woman’s dream is to have a child, even though many mothers say, “I want my life back”. The mixed feelings and envy that some women have who are busy raising children, compared with the perceived freedom possessed by those who don’t have children. The ambivalence that many women feel toward motherhood, but they don’t talk about it. The myth that every woman feels the need to procreate, because it isn’t true! How she loves children, but that’s not the same as having what it takes to be a great mom or wanting that permanent responsibility. How Yamini shows the nurturing qualities in her life through creativity and curiosity. Her work with the Goddess asteroids and how they tell the story of relationships, autonomy, and gender roles. How do we “mother” the earth for sustainability? How small changes can make an impact on the planet and its resources. How we are individual activists with the choices we make each day. Yamini’s advice to women to find a life that’s theirs--”Work with your menstrual cycle." We also discuss what you can do if you are no longer menstruating. Find about more about Yamini and her work at www.globalwoman.com I really hope you enjoyed this episode. Please subscribe and I would also be so grateful if you would leave us a rating and review. Speaker, philanthropist, air traffic controller, there is no doubt that Global Woman of Vision award winner, Kendra Kincade is a true inspiration, a beautiful reminder to us all that it is possible to intentionally change your life and live your dreams. Overcoming a decidedly challenging early life which left her dejected and disillusioned, a single mother raising 4 children, Kendra discovered quite by accident that the pathway to her own salvation lay in helping others find theirs. She enthusiastically embarked upon her quest to make a difference, fundraising for worthwhile organizations, even climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro to raise money for a local hospital. Soon, she was heading up her own nonprofit organization, Changing Stories, and choosing her own projects such as the construction of a sports playground in El Salvador. Her longtime career as an Air Traffic Controller opened up more horizons for the aspiring young woman, literally as well as figuratively, when Kendra, recognizing the negligible female presence in the industry, set out to remedy the situation. Now the Founder and Board Chairman of Elevate Aviation, a venture dedicated to uniting and empowering women in aviation, she is passionate about providing opportunities for women of all ages to attain knowledge and training in all its related professions. Kendra Kincade is proof positive that when you direct your energy towards your goals, you can make miracles happen. “You just have to imagine it and go after it.” as she would assure you. “You CAN ‘elevate’ your life.” For more resources and to get in touch with Kendra Kincade: www.elevateaviation.ca Email: info@elevateaviation.ca https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDD_KJ36CQeMyTOd5y7r9QA www.changingstories.ca You can also find them on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook just search @elevateaviation
