Valentín Bote, director de Randstad Research, ha señalado en Radio Intereconomía que "la hostelería destruyó 119.000 empleos en noviembre, suficiente para compensar el efecto de los sectores que crearon empleo". Añade que el resultado final deja "un saldo negativo de 14.000 afiliados, con un aumento de 63.000 demandantes de empleo y 78.000 demandantes ocupados, debido al paso a la inactividad de miles de fijos discontinuos procedentes de la hostelería". Según Bote, "el paro efectivo asciende ya a 3,2 millones de personas". El desempleo descendió en noviembre en 18.805 personas, hasta situarse en 2.424.961 parados, con bajadas en todos los sectores económicos y también en el colectivo sin empleo anterior. El mayor descenso se produjo en Servicios, con 13.013 parados menos. Por comunidades, el paro cayó en once regiones, destacando Andalucía (-6.934), Madrid (-3.903) y Cataluña (-3.119), mientras que aumentó en Baleares y Castilla y León. Pese al descenso del paro, la afiliación a la Seguridad Social se redujo en 14.358 personas, una caída explicada casi en su totalidad por la hostelería, que destruyó 119.224 empleos en el mes. En contraste, aumentó la ocupación en Educación (+30.731), Comercio (+21.683) y Construcción (+11.146). En noviembre se firmaron cerca de 1,3 millones de contratos, de los que el 41% fueron indefinidos.

Una estrategia que está generando un déficit estructural de demanda motivada porque Europa no nos permite impulsarla hasta donde debería estar para que la economía española funcione con eficiencia. Añadido a esto, la obsesión con la reducción de la deuda pública a niveles arbitrarios y que realmente no están impuestos por ninguna teoría económica sino por la doctrina europea.
