Chapeau ! Shane Williams is a household name in sport worldwide, the former Welsh International rugby player is regarded as one of the greatest wingers and players of all time. With 87 caps for his country and multiple British and Irish Lions tour appearances, it is no wonder he is a World Rugby Hall of Fame Inductee and a winner of the World Rugby Player of the Year award. Embedded in sport for most of his life, when he retired from professional rugby in 2015 his love and passion for sport continued but took him in a very different direction. Taking part in his first marathon in 2015, it wasn't long before the Welshman became captivated with endurance sport, in particular, triathlon and more specifically with IRONMAN. Somewhat cajoled into taking on his first ever IRONMAN, he didn't have far to travel to take on his first full-distance race at IRONMAN Wales in Tenby, which he has gone on to complete five times, first hearing the words Shane Williams You are an IRONMAN, in 2015. It may come as a surprise to hear that on an IRONMAN Wales race morning, he is more nervous than lining up to play for Wales in the Principality Stadium. But, the goosebumps and passion he feels as he hears the Welsh National Anthem resound on North Beach in Tenby is one that fills him full of the same pride, excitement, and emotion he had as a professional rugby player and, when the gun goes he is more than ready, willing and able to race. A high achiever in sport and competitive by nature, he is as passionate today about triathlon as he was for rugby during his playing days. Always looking to get the best out of himself and his performance in sport, life, and in business, triathlon has opened up a whole new world for Shane Williams, and in his own words says 'I'm hooked, it makes me feel so good'.

Musical Yesterday.---Join our Patreon for a quid a month and we'll swear at you every week or promote your stuff. as well as let you pick an episode every month. www.patreon.com/100things ---From Wikipedia: Yesterday is a 2019 romantic comedy film directed by Danny Boyle and written by Richard Curtis, based on a story by Jack Barth and Curtis. Himesh Patel stars as struggling musician Jack Malik, who suddenly finds himself the only person who has ever heard of the Beatles and becomes famous after reintroducing their songs to the world. The film also stars Lily James, Joel Fry, Ed Sheeran, and Kate McKinnon. It gets its title from the 1965 Beatles song of the same name.Yesterday was announced in March 2018. Filming began the following month around England, particularly Norfolk and Halesworth in Suffolk. Photography also took place at Wembley Stadium, the Principality Stadium, and in Los Angeles. The filmmakers paid $10 million for the rights to use the Beatles' music; although none of the band members were involved, Boyle received approval for the project from them or their families.Yesterday had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in May 2019, and was released in the United Kingdom and the United States in June 2019, by Universal Pictures.[4] The film grossed $153 million worldwide against a production budget of $26 million. It received positive reviews from critics, with praise for the premise, performances, and musical sequences, but criticism for its familiarity and not exploring the concept further.
Join the lads for one of the best nights of their live theatre tour, earlier this year; Cardiff with Scott Quinnell. The boys are aware they're on Scott's home turf, with the crowd on his side, so fireworks between Hask and SQ are inevitable. Hask also relives how he almost donned a Wales shirt, Tinds remembers how he once ran out for Llanelli and they both recall the glory days (and embarrassing days) at a hostile Principality Stadium.

Such a journey presents a unique opportunity to raise awareness of veterans' mental health issues, while at the same time offering veterans themselves the chance to take part in a memorable event. Walter's second ever Meltzer five-star match was when he defended his NXT UK Championship in Cardiff's Motorpoint Arena in front of 3,600 fans against plucky underdog Tyler Bate. Three years and three days later, he is now Gunther, he's defending the WWE Intercontinental Championship in Cardiff's Principality Stadium in front of just under twenty times that number. This time his opponent is the definition of 'picking on someone your own size' in the 'Celtic Warrior' Sheamus. Thirteen years into his WWE career may not have been when you'd expect Sheamus to gain his first five-star match from Meltzer, but here we are. For the first time in The Meltzer 5-Star Project's history, one of the hosts was live at the venue when this match occurs. Simon (@simoncross3) is here to recount his first-hand experiences, and Lorcan (@lorcanmullan) is here to find a way to still somehow talk more than Simon in the episode. https://pateron.com/lmtyspod https://facebook.com/lmtyspod https://twitter.com/lmtyspod lmtyspod@gmail.com

(STINGER: WWE) WWE is set to hold its first stadium show in the United Kingdom in 30 years. It will be at the 74-thousand seat Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales on Sunday, September 3. WWE has an unspecified “premium live event” on its schedule for Sunday, September 4th. So, it would appear that is being moved up a day - making it the first WWE event in the UK of this size and scope since SummerSlam in 1992. Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins will meet again…at WrestleMania Backlash on Sunday, May 8th. Rhodes beat The Miz on last night's RAW. Sonya Deville will be Bianca Belair's next challenger for the RAW Women's Title. Deville lured Belair into signing an open contract last night…and then attacked her. Deville made her move after Belair beat Queen Zelina. The women's tag title match being promoted for last night did NOT happen. Commentary indicated Rhea Ripley was kept off the show due to COVID-19 protocols. The match is now being promoted for next Monday's RAW. Meanwhile, one-half of the women's tag champs Naomi pinned Liv Morgan with a rollup last night. Rey Mysterio also did not appear last night. Instead, his son Dominik took a loss to Veer Mahaan, who continued the beating after the match. Dominik was taken away on a stretcher to a backstage ambulance. The SmackDown Tag Champs The Usos beat the Street Profits in last night's main event. The Usos made it clear they want a title unification match against the RAW Tag Champs RK-Bro, who beat the Alpha Academy last night. The match between AJ Styles and Damian Priest ended in a no-contest. Austin Theory is now known simply as “Theory”. He'll get a U.S. Title match against Finn Balor next Monday. Tommaso Ciampa officially joined the RAW roster last night. THREE title matches are set for tonight's NXT. The next holders of the vacant NXT Tag Titles will be decided in a 5-team gauntlet match. Those teams are Grayson Waller & Sanga, Legado del Fantasma, The Creed Brothers, Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen, and Pretty Deadly. Also tonight…Mandy Rose defends the NXT Women's Title against Dakota Kai…and Cameron Grimes puts the North American Championship on the line against Solo Sikoa. There's an update on Shinjiro Otani. ZERO1 confirmed early Tuesday that Otani suffered a cervical spinal cord injury during a match on Sunday. He's been transferred to an intensive care unit and is scheduled to undergo surgery on Wednesday. ~~~Full run down at www.justprowrestlingnews.com ~~~ • • • • • wwe #wrestling #prowrestling #smackdown #wwenetwork #wweraw #romanreigns #ajstyles #NXT #raw #njpw #wwenxt #SethRollins #TNA #johncena #RandyOrton #wrestlemania #ROH #WWF #summerslam #tripleh #aewdynamite #professionalwrestling #aew #allelitewrestling #aewontnt #DeanAmbrose #nxt #KevinOwens #wwesmackdown
Sonja McLaughlan brings you reaction from the Principality Stadium, where France kept their Six Nations grand slam hopes alive after beating Wales 13-9 in Cardiff on Friday. French rugby journalist Axel May tells us why France's winning mentality is their biggest asset this year. We're also joined by former Wales internationals James Hook and Philippa Tuttiett and our commentator Gareth Lewis to reflect on a stellar performance from captain Dan Biggar and discuss whether the grand slam is now a certainty for France. And we look ahead to Saturday's matches, with England taking on Ireland at Twickenham and Scotland facing Italy. TOPICS 00:53 - French reaction with Axel May 04:50 - Dan Biggar performance 06:12 - Dan Biggar interview with Lee McKenzie 07:23 - Wales analysis 11:16 - France's winning mentality 12:12 - Interview with France team manager Raphael Ibanez 13:10 - Will France win the grand slam? 15:36 - Saturday's matches 19:01 - Concussion issues
It's Friday which can only mean one thing…Matt Dawson and Sonja McLaughlan are back with their unique take on an exciting round four of the Six Nations. And as always they are joined by Shane Horgan and Philippa Tuttiett and the special guest this week is former Scotland captain, Andy Nicol. They look ahead to England's clash against Ireland and debate who the real favourites are on Saturday and which coach is under more pressure? Eddie Jones also makes a cameo pod appearance with his thoughts on what he expects from Andy Farrell's side and Shane gives his perspective on the news this week that Johnny Sexton will retire after the World Cup. Attention then turns to tonight's game – Wales against France, can home advantage really benefit this Welsh side? Or are the French too strong psychologically to falter at the Principality Stadium? All that gets discussed and then it's prediction time...and could there be an upset in Rome?
