Janine Weinreich führt das Weingut Brüssel in zweiter Generation. Sie hat es mit innovativen Ideen und viel Leidenschaft zu einem echten Geheimtipp gemacht. Nach ihrer Ausbildung bei renommierten Winzern und Winzerinnen im In- und Ausland, unter anderem bei Klaus-Peter Keller in Rheinhessen, Sabine Mosbacher in der Pfalz und Birgit Braunstein im Burgenland, hat sie peu à peu seit 2007 immer mehr Verantwortung für das Familienweingut ihrer Eltern übernommen. 2019 war dann die finale Übergabe. Für Aufsehen haben in den vergangenen Jahren vor allem ihre Spätburgunder gesorgt. Sie sind ein bisschen wie Janine. Bei der Begegnung entlocken sie ein Lächeln. Sie wirken generös, entgegenkommend, freundlich und offen. Das sind Spätburgunder, die einem entgegenzurufen scheinen: „Hab mich gern, ich möchte dir gefallen.“ Und das machen sie auf eine sehr charmante, authentische Art, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein oder gekünstelt zu wirken. Sie zeigen viel Frucht, sie haben eine schöne Balance und sie sind super trinkig. Janine legt großen Wert auf Handarbeit im Weinberg und setzt auf traditionelle Methoden wie Spontangärung und langes Hefelager. Aktuell befindet sie sich in der Umstellung zum Bioweingut. Wichtig ist ihr der direkte Kundenkontakt, weshalb sie das Gros ihrer Weine direkt ab Hof verkauft. Über all diese Dinge spreche ich im Podcast mit ihr.

He is one of the most unique and funny comedians currently on the rise, and I wanted to make sure everybody who listens to the show got a chance to meet him.    I talked with Jeremy about growing up in Washington D.C., finding his way to comedy, trying out standup in college, making the move to Los Angeles, his love for LOVE, and so much more. With everything we talked about, we ran out of time to talk about one of Jeremy's hobbies that always just blows my mind, and that his is love for cycling.
