Florida Gators win the Men's College Hoops National Title over Houston 65-63 behind great late game defense; Jets and Capitals lead the NHL with less than 1 week left; Only 2 games separate #3 seed from #8 seed in NBA Western Conference with 3-4 games left.

UF nips Auburn and Houston makes great comeback vs. Duke (choke?) in men's college hoops; Ovechkin breaks Gretzky's NHL regular season goals record (895 to 894 in 1487 games);  Giannis is amazing with 35 points/20 assists/17 boards vs. Sixers;  Brewers claw back to 5-5; Harman wins on PGA Tour and Bengals to go with 3 lineman in first 3 rounds of draft.

Bri likes UF over Auburn 76-73 and Duke over Houston 65-63 in the Men's Final Four. Houston holds Tennessee to 15 points in first half and rolls 69-50 and Auburn (behind Johni Broome's 25 points/14 rebounds) beats Sparty 70-64.

Bri makes his Sweet 16 and Elite 8 predictions (Bama, UF, Duke and Arkansas win on Thursday; Michigan State, UK, Auburn and Houston win on Friday and then Duke, UF, Auburn and Houston move on to the Final 4 on Saturday/Sunday.)

2025 NL West preview-Bri thinks Dodgers can win 120 games while Rockies could lose 115; Padres and D Backs will battle for 2nd in NL West while Giants under Buster Posey should improve with Willy Adames.

Men's CBB first two rounds-7 SEC, 4 Big 10, 4 Big 12 and Duke remain.  St. Johns (a 2 seed) loses to 10 seed Arkansas. 6 seed BYU upsets the third seeded Badgers 91-89.  Maryland wins with a buzzer beater over Colorado State. 12 of the top 16 teams remain-NIL Is winning.

Hockey wins the weekend over the NBA. NL Central MLB Preview-Bri has Cubs, Brewers and Reds in a super tight race with Pirates in 4th and Cards at the bottom. Can Elly win MVP for the Reds? Can Skenes win 25 games for the Bucs? How many games will Yelich play for the Brewers?

4 nations hockey shines-Great US vs. Canada game (3 fights in first nine seconds and US gets the win); Dodgers, Yankees, Phillies and Rangers lead the MLB Power Ranking as spring training begins; In men's CBB Badgers upset Purdue and #1 Auburn impresses with Iron Bowl win over Bama while Izzo breaks Bob Knight's Big 10 wins record; Thunder get an A+, while Mavs and Suns get F's in NBA grades and Aberg nips McNeely by 1 at Torrey.

The guys take a first look at MLB in 2025. We compare payrolls (Dodgers $304MM vs. Marlins $44MM) and win projections from PECOTA (Dodgers 104 vs. Rockies 55.)  We then take a quick look at the forecasted starting lineups for our favorite teams-Brewers (Dad) and Reds (Bri) who are both projected to spend $100MM (tied for 22nd in MLB).

Bri grades every NBA teams roster after an epic trade deadline. Celtics and Cavs get A's (Knicks a B+) in the East. Thunder, Rockets, Grizzlies and T Wolves get A's in the West (Lakers would have been there but not after cancellation of Mark Williams deal).

Eagles destroy Chiefs in Super Bowl (Eagles Defensive Line dominated with 6 sacks, 11 hits on zero blitzes); Belgian Thomas Detry wins by 7 in Phoenix with Berger, JT and Spieth in top 6; Chet returns for Thunder; and Mark Williams trade to the Lakers is cancelled.

Bri likes Chiefs to nip the Eagles 24-21 in Sunday's Super Bowl. PECOTA predicts the Brewers will win 80 games and the Reds will win 74 in 2025-both seem low to us. Bucks trade 12 year veteran Khris Middleton to the Wizards for Kyle Kuzma and stuff-Middleton is an all-time Bucks great (1st in franchise in 3's, 3rd in scoring, 3rd in assists), the end of an era.

Auburn and Duke look like the 2 best teams in men's college hoops while the SEC holds down 4 of the elite 8 spots in the rankings.  The Mavs continue to get ripped for the Luka/AD trade-'The return sucks...they should have received 3 more picks.' The  Lakers are looking for a defensive minded big. Spurs. Kings and Bulls all seem happy after Fox/Lavine trade.

Rory wins at Pebble Beach by 2 over Shane Lowry-Rory hits driver (369) and 7 iron (201) on uphill 570 yard par 5 14th hole and makes a an eagle. Luka Doncic and stuff traded to the Lakers for Anthony Davis and stuff in a stunning NBA surprise (Mavs fans are pissed.) DeAaron Fox goes to the Spurs, Zach Lavine to the Kings while Bulls get a pick and 3 salary dumps.

Dodgers on track to spend $379MM; Reds continue to make smaller $ moves including JU alum Austin Hays; Will the NBA cut down to 10 minutes/quarter?; What name do you like for Utah Hockey Club?; Can Ovechkin catch Gretzky's goal record this year?; Rory to play fewer US tourneys while Scheffler and Spieth debut at Pebble Beach.

Auburn nips Tennessee, Duke beats Wake and NC State, Iowa State loses to Arizona after Caleb Love heave while Bama, UF, Houston and Sparty keep winning at the top of Mens college hoops. Rockets are the hottest team in the NBA after wins over Celtics, Grizz, Cavs and Nuggets while the Jimmy Butler distractions continue in Miami.

Harris English wins the Farmers at Torrey Pines (5th win of his career) at 8 under par; Eagles roll over Commanders 55-23 behind the new birds-Barkley, Baun, Mitchell and DeJean;  Chiefs nip Bills 32-29 in an instant classic as Spags blitzes Allen on 4th down and Mahomes runs master class in running out the clock.
