In this episode of Laid Open Podcast, I welcome back Dr. Keesha Ewers, a specialist in integrative medicine and functional sexology. We discuss the critical yet often overlooked topic of menopause, highlighting how women's health issues, particularly post-childrearing, are neglected in society and underfunded in research. Dr. Keesha and I provide insights into hormone replacement therapy (HRT), discussing various options like pellets, patches, and creams and emphasizing the importance of bioidentical hormones. We explain why not everyone needs HRT and the significant role of lifestyle choices, diet, and exercise in managing menopause symptoms. Our conversation also delves into how the body communicates its needs through everyday signs like urine color, vaginal health, and bowel movements. Additionally, we explore the impact of trauma, stress, and genetic factors on hormone levels. Dr. Keesha and I encourage listeners to tune into their bodies and get curious about their symptoms, offering practical advice on how to start addressing menopausal issues holistically. Every episode is now on YouTube, which you can watch via the link in my bio or by searching LaidOPEN. Additionally, the best way to support my work is by liking, sharing, and leaving a review for my podcast.
Send us a textThe latest episode of *2 Giants Goofballs: New York Giants News & Updates* dives deep into the whirlwind of rumors surrounding the Giants' quarterback situation, draft strategy, and trade possibilities. With the offseason heating up, reports suggest that the Giants are actively considering multiple quarterback options, including Aaron Rodgers, Daniel Jones' potential trade destinations, and their approach to the 2024 NFL Draft. Quinn Ewers has emerged as a name of interest for the Giants. Despite battling injuries at Texas, Ewers showcased elite arm talent but struggled with consistency in crucial moments. Could the Giants see him as a future franchise QB? Meanwhile, ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reports that multiple teams—including the Colts, Vikings, and Browns—have expressed interest in Daniel Jones. While Indianapolis could be looking for a veteran presence behind Anthony Richardson, Minnesota and Cleveland may view Jones as a potential starter. The Aaron Rodgers-to-Giants rumors have intensified, with reports indicating that his camp has reached out to the team multiple times. SNY's Connor Hughes confirms that the Giants have had internal discussions about Rodgers, though they are also considering other veteran QB options. Rodgers, who loves New York and is reportedly a huge fan of Malik Nabers, could bring Davante Adams with him if a deal were to materialize. Members of the Giants coaching staff have even consulted former Jets coaches who worked with Rodgers, receiving glowing reviews about his leadership and character. The draft also looms large in the Giants' offseason plans. Pro Football Focus projects an "ideal" draft haul for Big Blue, headlined by quarterback Cam Ward in the first round, followed by standout cornerback Benjamin Morrison from Notre Dame in the second round and Ohio State edge rusher J.T. Tuimoloau in the third. With the Giants holding the No. 3 overall pick, speculation is rampant about whether they will stay put, trade down, or make a bold move up. The Sporting News predicts a potential trade with the Cowboys, where Dallas would move up to No. 3 to select Shedeur Sanders, sending the Giants a massive haul in return. On the other hand, SNY's Connor Hughes and Over the Cap's Jason Fitzgerald suggest that moving up to the No. 1 pick to land a top-tier quarterback like Caleb Williams or Drake Maye could cost the Giants their No. 3 pick, the No. 34 pick, and a future first and third-rounder. With free agency and the draft approaching, the Giants are at a crossroads. Will they make a blockbuster move for Rodgers? Could Daniel Jones be on his way out? And what will Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll do with their coveted draft capital? Tune in as Drew and Rob break down all the latest *Giants news and rumors* in this can't-miss episode of *2 Giants Goofballs: New York Giants News & Updates*!#giants #nygiants #nflSupport the showAll Episodes are shot LIVE with fan interactions on Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, & TwitchSponsor the show at: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/2giantgoofballsInterested in starting a podcast. We checked in on some notes from the combine as the defensive linemen are doing their thing today. The Steelers have formal meetings setup with a handful of them. Should the Steelers take a DL no matter what at 21 or should they still be on the board for a WR? The Steelers also met with Quinn Ewers, a QB that could go on the second or third day of the draft. An interesting note with Ewers is that he started all season over Arch Manning, a player people think teams should tank for next season. Is it worth taking a swing on a QB in the 4th round? Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo from the PG joined the show. The guys asked Ray if Najee Harris will be back. Ray understands that Najee's health is a good asset, but doesn't understand why that is the sole reason to bring the guy back. Ray wants to see more guys like Jaylen Warren that can pop a big play. Ray thinks the QB price range for the Steelers is '25-30 million max,' but isn't sure who that QB will be. Is Quinn Ewers a realistic name the Steelers could write on their card in the middle rounds? Ray broke down the '25 QB class. Ray thinks DL is a real possibility in the 1st round because of how skilled that group is. The guys let Ray react to the scathing review of Roman Wilson on the Steelers website. Total Request Thursday.

Ari covered the College Football Playoff meeting Tuesday, and he came away frustrated that no one will just say what they're doing or what they'd prefer. The ACC and Big 12 commissioners said they needed to run the numbers to determine how they might vote on the seeding rules for the 2025 season. Andy ran the numbers Tuesday night, and the answer seems pretty clear as to what those two leagues in particular should do. As the NFL combine ramps up, news emerged that former Texas QB Quinn Ewers is prepared to throw for scouts. Ewers was dealing with an oblique injury for most of the season. If you're hoping (maybe even praying?) that Seattle Seahawks general manager John Schneider FINALLY drafts a QB capable of perhaps one day taking over as the franchise signal-caller, this might be your year. While this QB draft class has taken it's lumps from cynics and critics alike, there are a number of prospects littered throughout the group that have starter upside. One of those is Texas' Quinn Ewers. Once a top prospect and widely-viewed as a potential first rounder, the shine wore off Ewers after an injury-filled and inconsistent 2024 campaign. But there are reasons to think Schneider has had his eye on Ewers for a long while, and could potentially choose him when the draft rolls around in late April... and today at the NFL scouting combine, news broke about Ewers that make the potential connection between the GM and the QB prospect even stronger. And the 14-3 Vikings are forced to go on the road, at a neutral site, against the Rams. Meanwhile in college…the Irish have punched their ticket to Atlanta and await the winner of Ohio State and Texas. Ewers looked banged up and inconsistent against the Sun Devils, while the Buckeyes are coming off a beatdown of number 1 seed Oregon. Will the Cowboys demote Mike McCarthy to an “analyst” position? Can Ward and Shedeur save the Titans and Browns?? Should Notre Dame be disqualified for losing to Northern Illinois??? And has Bill Belicheck already won the ACC???? The CFP semifinals are upon us!Thanks to our founding partner 76, Elite 11 President and close friend Brian Stumpf joins the show to take a deep dive into the quarterback position among the four teams remaining in the College Football Playoff. His recall into what Quinn Ewers, Will Howard, Riley Leonard and Drew Allar were in high school is fascinating, as each of their journeys are incredibly unique. We dove into the instant stardom that Ewers received the summer heading into his senior year at the Elite 11 and the path of Will Howard, who was in the same QB class as former Buckeye great CJ Stroud. Think about that for a moment! We also dive into Brian's lens on being a general manager in college football. If I was a team president or head coach, Brian would be my first call as his evaluation, relationships and character traits are as good as I've ever come across.Jim Thornby and I also explore the state of the game in a wide ranging conversation around the professionalization of college football, private equity and officiating. We also give our keys to the two semifinal games, as I'm in Dallas covering the Cotton Bowl for the Big Ten Network all week. Most importantly, we want to send our love and support to everyone in Southern California who is navigating the wildfires that have impacted thousands of homes and families.Much love to all and hope this show and the upcoming playoff games can offer a little reprieve during this challenging time in Los Angeles.YogiThis episode was executive produced by Jim Thornby and edited by Victor RenThis podcast is a Best Coast Media productionY-Option: College Football with Yogi Roth is a reader-supported publication. Today on The Hard Count with J.D. PicKell, we dive into the hottest topics and biggest storylines in college football. From Ryan Day's Ohio State Buckeyes to the latest transfer portal moves by Georgia, J.D. covers it all. Here's what you can expect:
As well as Ohio State's played so far in the College Football Playoff, it feels like the only team who can beat the Buckeyes is themselves. But that doesn't mean a win over Texas will come easily. The Longhorns are in the CFP semifinals too for a reason, the biggest of which is its defense, which leads the nation in passing yards allowed per attempt. We're not sure if anyone in college football can stop Jeremiah Smith right now, but the Longhorns might be the most well-equipped team in the country to at least slow Ohio State's passing offense down.On the other side of the ball, Ohio State faces a dangerous passing attack led by an old friend in Quinn Ewers. But we expect the Buckeyes' defense to make life difficult for Ewers, especially considering the Longhorns' recent struggles in the running game, and we think Ohio State might hold the quarterback advantage anyway with how well Will Howard has played in Ohio State's first two CFP games. We share our full thoughts on Ohio State's matchup with Texas and make our predictions for how the Buckeyes' Cotton Bowl battle with the Longhorns will play out on this week's episode of Real Pod Wednesdays, as outlined below:0:00 Intro0:58 There's Not Much to Nitpick From Ohio State's Dominant Performance vs. Oregon4:33 Texas Has One of the Nation's Best Pass Defenses, But Can Anyone Stop Jeremiah Smith?11:24 Making Texas' Offense One-Dimensional Could Be the Key to Another Dominant Win18:44 Which Quarterback Would You Rather Have: Will Howard or Quinn Ewers?21:26 Colin Simmons is A Really Good Freshman, But We'll Take Jeremiah Smith23:31 Ohio State's Offensive Line Faces Another Big Test, Will It Rise to the Occasion Again?27:18 Donovan Jackson and Justin Frye Have Both Stepped Up in A Massive Way30:00 Our Biggest Reasons for Confidence and Biggest Reasons for Concern in the Cotton Bowl39:19 Lathan Ransom, Tyleik Williams Among Players to Watch vs. Longhorns42:24 Score Predictions for Ohio State vs. Texas45:28 Predictions for Notre Dame vs. Penn State

Clemson Tigers HC Dabo Swinney met with the media to discuss Clemson's victory over SMU, matchup against Texas, Klubnik vs Ewers and more!
Texas travels to College Station, Texas to face Texas A&M at 6:30 Central on ABC this Saturday evening. Texas is favored by 6 with an over-under of 48, as of Monday morning, making for an implied final score of Texas 27, Texas A&M 21. Our computer model favors Texas by 8. Chase Robinson and Chris Lee preview the game. Topics include: Texas's Quinn Ewers appears to be okay and available for Saturday after suffering a minor injury vs. Kentucky Ewers has plenty of offensive weapons at his disposal, including a matchup nightmare in Gunnar Helm at tight end. Texas A&M's pass rush of Nic Scourton and company will have a hard time getting to Ewers (or Arch Manning) thanks to an outstanding offensive line led by left tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. Texas might have the country's best defense and is elite against the pass. Marcel Reed and company present a dual-threat challenge to Texas.
