I get referred to all the time as the Funnel Guy! My mom asked me the other day, what is a funnel? I started giving her an explanation. She replied okay I get it. So you funnel people down to eventually becoming a client. I responded... Exactly! There is nothing better than having a marketing funnel that works. The first step in making a funnel that works is getting a “Tip Of Spear”. The tip of the spear is an entry point to marketing. Most people make things so complicated, they fail before they start. When you narrow everything down to a very specific target audience. Crafting an offer that converts is so much easier. It's way easier to build a funnel targeting a very specific audience. An example would be probates, expired listings, even luxury homeowners. Once you've nailed down who you are targeting you can craft an offer based on them. When you try to work with everyone looking to buy a house. It's way more difficult than helping someone looking for new construction. The new construction audience is easier to attract with a marketing message. It's way easier to target a neighborhood for listings than an entire city. When we help agents launch a funnel we start the process with first “Who” then "How". If you want to learn how to build a funnel by nailing down your tip of the spear. I have some good news. I recently recorded a video that will walk you through the process. Watch it here Funnels are like fishing poles. Your goal is to reel them in. The problem is you have to have the right hook and bait. Even if you have the right hook and bait, it won't work in the wrong water. You have to fish for freshwater fish in freshwater, not the ocean. The first step in fishing that impacts everything is answering the question “what are you fishing for”. When you have all the steps done right, in the right order. Selling real estate is fun! What sucks is not having enough customers. Wanting to go on an appointment with no appointments to go on. If you want more clients, get a funnel. If you want a funnel then make sure you watch this funnel and don't SKIP STEP ONE.
Life By Strategy is living a life that gives you more freedom. With every decision, you now have a primary aim, purpose, a goal. This filter becomes the method for making decisions. Every decision about your business, finances, health, fun, romance is moving you closer or further away from your goal. Having a strategy starts with first identifying the problems and constraints. Then creating a plan that is in your control to move closer to your goals. Living a life by strategy starts with a focus on why you do what you do instead of what you do.
