The Kicking & Streaming podcast is an absolute gem that I stumbled upon and now can't get enough of. Carie and Ross, the hosts of this podcast, are truly captivating individuals who have a natural talent for entertaining their listeners. Every time I tune in to their episodes, it feels like I am sitting right there with them, engaged in a lively conversation about movies. If you are someone who loves films and enjoys being thoroughly entertained, then this podcast is perfect for you.

One of the best aspects of The Kicking & Streaming podcast is the infectious laughter that emanates from Carie and Ross throughout each episode. Their genuine joy and enthusiasm for discussing movies are incredibly contagious, leaving me chuckling along with them even when listening in public spaces. Not only do they bring laughter to the table, but they also provide fresh perspectives on the films they review. Their insightful commentary often inspires me to revisit movies I previously disliked or overlooked, allowing me to appreciate them from a new angle.

Another great aspect of this podcast is how relatable Carie and Ross are as hosts. Listening to their banter feels like spending time with close friends who never fail to make you feel welcome and included. Whether I am on my daily commute or doing chores at home, having this duo's voices in my ear makes those mundane tasks much more enjoyable. They create a warm atmosphere that makes you feel like part of their friendship circle, which adds an extra layer of comfort to every episode.

While it's hard to find any significant flaws with The Kicking & Streaming podcast, if there was one aspect that could be improved upon, it would be the occasional lack of focus on certain topics or films discussed. Sometimes it feels like they veer off into tangents or spend less time analyzing specific movie details than desired. However, this minor drawback does not detract significantly from the overall entertainment value provided by Carie and Ross.

In conclusion, The Kicking & Streaming podcast is an absolute must-listen for any movie lover looking for a fun and insightful podcast. The best place to start is at the beginning with 1989's The Little Mermaid! Carie manages to keep the big baby tears back as they unravel the story of Princess Ariel of Atlantic, a mermaid who wants to be part of the human world. After trading her voice to a sea witch to get the guy, she'll have to work fast to ensure she's not reduced to haunted seaweed as a pawn in some beef between her father and auntie. Carie describes an actual physiological relationship with the music and lyrics of Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, and Ross recalls a very specific affinity for a King Triton figurine.  SUPPORT US ON PATREON!
