Adam Patrick hosts the podcast where logic meets magic. This is the intersection of the material and the mystical. We are changing the conversation on individual liberty and economic freedom.
As the show segues through a much-needed re-brand, I invited my good friend Matt Erickson back on to help explain our journeys over the last couple of years and how we might help relate what we have learned to others. We touch mainly on the different ideas of Western vs Eastern Christianity, and the impact these differences have not just on the Christian life but Christiandom as a culture. Check Matt out on Twitter at @realkingpilled and on his show with Steven Messina - "Kingpilled" on YouTube. Enjoy!
James Jenneman returns to the show to discuss what's been going on in our lives and spiritual development over the past few months. Lots of red meat here for sure! Check out James on Twitter at (4) James Jenneman (@jameslj) / Twitter And checkout Blackbird podcast here: https://blackbirdpodcast.com
Niklas Blanchard @cheapseatsecon joins me again to continue our conversation on Accelerationism. One of the necessary bumps in the road we have to traverse on this journey is probably my least favorite thinker of all time: one, David Hume. We talk about Hume's writings on passions, free will, religion, and the psychological nature of human action and expression.
JimBob, of @madebyJimBob fame on instragram, joins me once again to discuss culture, capitalism, and building towards something rather than away from something. He's a super interesting guy, and you're going to like where this is headed. Twitter - (4) Ken Theroux
I'm so happy to welcome Jessica Smith to the show! We go back several years, and Jessica is one of the first people I ever routinely engaged with on the concepts of libertarianism on social media. One of the reasons I can even speak reliably on anarchism, libertarianism, and voluntaryism, is because we were able to talk so much over the years. We've stayed close, she's an absolute gem, and I'm honored to be able to host her on her debut podcast! Check her out on Twitter at @jess_bbg
The master of Twitter debates @ace_archist, and the master of making people question their thinking @jeremiah.exe (Jeremiah Harding) join me to peg down some of the terms and concepts that are used in the liberty space. I enjoyed this a lot, and you can check them out at the Twitter handles above, and some of Jeremiah's work at: jeremiahharding.com Agoristnexus.com
Niklas joins me to talk about the ideas of Baruch Spinoza, and we branch off into an array of discussions about morality vs ethics, mysticism vs materialism, and what power really means. Check Nicklas out on Twitter at @cheapseatsecon

Matt from Kingpilled, and Aaron from Timeline Earth (and Boyz Town With Aaron) join me for a discussion on capitalism and accelerationism. When RW Anarchists approach any subject, they must be careful to observe the critiques of their enemies, and empathize with how they develop. We'll start our conversation there, and then marry in #praxis and how to potentially move forward. I was really excited for this one, and these guys didn't disappoint. These ideas of paleolibertarianism are more important now than ever, and I invited Jared on to discuss all of that, plus ideas of praxis, philosophy, and politics. You're going to love this Check out the website here (Hoppean.org) And follow Jared on Twitter here
I met Mark through Twitter, and found out not only was he a fan and listener of YTOM, but an ideologically aligned thinker as well. I invited him on and we worked through some ideas and concepts, and I think you're really going to like where this all leads in the future. It's brave to work through ideas in real time, and allow yourself to be vulnerable in the public space. I respect what he's doing, appreciate it, and empathize with it. Joshua, host of the Our Foundations Podcast, joins me to chat about what has been a recurring theme on the show: historical cycles and patterns. He meshes together P.R. Sarkar, the Four Turnings, Sorokin, Mystical/Material, and his own idea of the Ages of Man. This will bring a lot of our talks from the past year into context, and you're really going to enjoy it. Check out Our Foundations on any podcatcher. Do yourself a huge favor, and start from the beginning :)
Matt Erickson, host of Kingpilled on YouTube, joins me again to chat about podcasting, communication, and getting new ideas out into the public discourse. This was a chill conversation about why we do what we do, and how it affects our lives and others. I hope you'll take out of it what I did, which is to chill TF out and relax. We're all in this together. Kingpilled on Youtube here Kingpilled on Twitter here
Pete Quinones, host of the Free Man Beyond the Wall Podcast, joins me once again. I invited Pete on to chat about his previous conversation with Matt Erickson (@kingpilled) and all that entails. Please listen to that conversation on Pete's show first, and then come back here and listen to this one, it will all make a lot more sense. Libertarians are finding themselves in 2021 asking more questions than providing answers, and there is a small group of us trying to figure out why that is. I don't know what the answers are, but I know it isn't what libertarians have been doing for 50 years. Pete on Twitter Pete on Substack Free Man Beyond the Wall podcast Monopoly on Violence on Amazon Pete at Libertarian Institute
Popular Liberty joins me once again on the show, and we chat about the episode of the Lex Fridman podcast, where Yuron Brook and Michael Malice debate Objectivism and Ayn Rand. What I took out of this conversation was Minarchy (small government) vs Anarchy (no government) and that continues to be an annoying argument to me. So, I asked Poppy Libs to come on and chat about it, piggybacking on our last episode on the laws of Archotropism. I will link to that episode, and all of his content below, YTOM Episode 3:21 here (and all podcatchers) Popular Liberty on YouTube here Popular Liberty on Substack here Popular Liberty on Twitter here
Jose Galison, host of the No Way Jose Podcast, and The Liberty Movement, joins me to bring some energy to the doing vs talking debate in the libertarian community. Aaron from the Timeline Earth podcast (formerly Friends Against Government) and Boyz Town w/ Aaron, joins me to discuss accelerationist tactics in 2021. I'm delighted to be joined again by the great Pete Quinones. You can listen to our last episode, 2:26 from last year, at your leisure. ArcaicSkidz was nice enough to invite me on his YouTube channel to chat about the restaurant industry, LP politics, and how the libertarian community can get out of its own way. Steve Dincher joins to me discuss Christian Eschatology (the study of the "end times.") Steve is a subscriber to the eschatology called Full Preterism, which is the belief that the entire bible, from Genesis to Revelation, culminated in the fall of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. There are many reasons I thought this would be fascinating to discuss, and all of those will become apparent as we move along in our discussion. Steve is the Secretary of the Libertarian Party of Connecticut, and a member of the Mises Caucus. Check out Steve on Twitter @rothbardsarmy and follow the LP of CT on Twitter @LibertarianCT (also Steve.)
Magnus Panvidya gained attention and notoriety after his speech in Michigan went viral on YouTube. He has become the recognizable face of The Boogaloo movement, and preaches a message of unity between the right and the left against the oppression of the state. Check him out on Twitter @MagnusPanvidya
Maddie and Jessie from The Voluntary Vixens Podcast join me. I adore these ladies, and you're going to enjoy this conversation very much. Check them out on any podcatcher, and definitely find them on IG @VoluntaryVixens, where they are super kind about responding to questions and comments. Enjoy!
Andrew from PopularLiberty on Youbtube joins me to talk about his concept of Archotropism: the tendency of any system to degrade into power, and what that means. We discuss many ideas of the concept of power from an economic and engineering sense, including incentives to power, time preference, price floors and interest rates of power dynamics, and conclude by talking about the God-shaped hole in man's heart. This will give libertarians and anarchists a lot to think about, and I suggest listening to this one twice. I gave Andrew a lot of space to express these ideas, but we will be coming back to them more in the future, for sure. Check him out at PopularLiberty on Youtube, and @popularliberty_ on Twitter.
Chris and I finish our exegetical analysis of The Book of Genesis, by looking at the story of Joseph, and what has been societally coined "Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat." We posit that the story of Joseph is actually the story of Judah and his redemption. Thank you all for following along, and continue to join us on our continuing journey of The Bible. Check out Chris on YouTube at @Hollywood.
James Jenneman from the Blackbird podcast (formally Urban Agorist) joins me to talk about C0vid & vacc!nes, psychedelics, integral theory, and hitting the mark when it comes to approaching The Most High. The Hebrew definition for "Sin" is literally "miss the mark." How we approach society, culture, and our understanding of the human condition, says a lot about our character and how closely we are following the path towards The Way. Check out James on Twitter @JamesLJ Check out the Blackbird podcast on all platforms, at blackbird.substack.com , and blackbirdpodcast.com
Stacie from "Stacie4Truth" (formally The Dissent) joins me to talk about what libertarians mean by "The State," and how we can realistically move forward as people looking for individual liberty and economic freedom. When we stop talking in hypotheticals, we can possibly start a conversation on how to create something new. Stacie is one of the sweetest, kindest humans I know, and I was so happy to finally be able to talk to her. Check out Stacie @ Stacie4Truth on YouTube & Odysee
Buck Johnson, host of Counter-Flow Podcast (formally Death To Tyrants) joins me to talk about left vs right, meaning and purpose vs emptiness, what Ancapistan looks like, and where "libertarians" go from here. Corey from Phocasseeds.com, and a member of the LPCT Mises Caucus, joins to me to talk about how human beings can create for themselves, and how they can derive meaning from nature. We also talk heavily about our religious upbringing and evolution, which you know I continue to enjoy. I really enjoyed this. You should check out what Corey is doing at www.phocasseeds.com and Check out his Podcast at Phocas Seedcast!
Stephen Kirschner and I resume our conversation from September 28th, 2020 (Episode 2:13.) We previously talked about post-modernism and its offshoots: post-structuralism, and post-colonialism, and what all of that entails. Please go back and start there, because this conversation will make a lot more sense. We continue our conversation on how to keep a balance between Materialism and Mysticism, and how cultures can grow away from the current system and prosper, while maintaining tradition and systems that work. I touch on having a balance in your life and how to direct your brain to center your conscious so that you don't lose your sense of self. This is the start of a new conversation, and I can't wait to continue this journey with you all. Thank you for following along this far. This week, Bill and I work though a plethora of libertarian issues, and how we might see the best way to move forward.
Today, Chris and I touch on most of Chapters 25-35 in the Book of Genesis, in only the way that Chris Maness can bring to a conversation. Personally, I found myself flying through a myriad of emotions here, and I hope you feel that as well. I've started focusing less on the text itself, assuming that yall have begun following along in your own scripture. And if you haven't, I suggest you start. We never set out to make this a Bible Study Course. This is our way of hashing out a certain set of ideas, and I would advise picking up a copy of the Bible and familiarizing yourself with the words so that you can understand where we're coming from. As always, you can check out Chris on social media @Hollywood. Enjoy the show!
My friend Adam Lopez joins me for a discussion on what the "new normal" looks like these days following the election, and in a world seriously considering travel papers under the name "Vaccine Passports." We also talk about last year's election, virtue signaling on social media (and how to use it properly,) adapting to your job in a covid world, as well as messaging and marketing (one of the best talents you can ever learn.) I love people named Adam because they're always so witty and intelligent. It's just the nature of the beast. You can check Adam Lopez out on social media at @theadamlopez and check out his wonderful marketing at edgewood.marketing or theadamlopez.com This was a good one!
Clint from the Liberty Lockdown Podcast joins me for a passionate discussion on where the libertarian movement is headed, what messaging needs to be at the forefront, and what the housing market is going to look like in the coming years. Bill Barger, host of "Don't Quote Me On This," invited me on to chat about libertarianism, virtue signaling, woke culture, social media, and morality. Matthew Erickson joins the show to discuss human instinct and culture, and where we may be headed (or perhaps also where we've come from.) You're going to love this discussion, it's may be my favorite in the history of the show. Our talk will alter future discussions, and illuminate what we mean by the mystical and the material. Matt is the host of @KingPilled, and also the Co-Host of Wealth, Power, and Influence with Jason Stapleton. He is one of the people to watch, moving forward, when it comes to political theory and human cycles and patterns. Enjoy! The great Vin Armani returns to the show. We expand on the ideas from our last episode on #theDimAge, reflecting on the material vs the mystical, how spells and magic rituals permeate culture, and how to find The Most High. We delve pretty deep into Bitcoin also, and how it transcends our material reality. And, of course, how libertarians can find the light in a world of darkness. Consider joining Vin for Bitcoin Mystery School here: https://www.codefromgo.com/course/bitcoin-mystery-school-novice-initiation/ or simply search for it online. I'm also linking to the "Woman in Texas" video we discussed on the show. And then please share this with your friends, and ask them to do the same. As always, I thank you for joining in to the conversation.
Chris Maness returns to the show to discuss Genesis chapters 12-25, The Life of Abraham. There's a lot here, and we had a bunch of fun talking about all of it. We touch on how these stories can be taken out of context, what they meant for the time they were written, what the stories are trying to tell us, and how we might learn from their lessons. Check out Chris on YouTube @Hollywood
Jonathan Johnson, vice-chair of the Libertarian Party of CT joins me to talk about individual liberty and what that means when it comes to state overreach and legislative tyranny.
