On this episode, Paige switches things up by chatting with not one, but TWO fabulous guests - Alex Bass, the founder of Salon 21 and painter, Danielle Kosann. Paige brings on Alex and Danielle to chat about Danielle's upcoming solo show, The Mysteries That Were Ours that will be on view 10/9/24 - 11/9/24 at Salon 21 - the chic, salon-style gallery in SOHO New York. This conversation reveals stories around transparency, vulnerability, imposter syndrom and the triumphs and tribulations of being a women in a historically male dominated industry.Alex Bass is the founder of Salon 21. Alex has a passion for making art and design more approachable, and she created Salon 21 to bring the spirit of the 18th-century salons to modern-day NYC. Where she hosts exhibitions of contemporary artists, Artist panels, workshops, and cocktail parties. Alex believes that art should be lived with and her space exemplifies this philosophy. She can share insights on curating cultural experiences and spotlighting emerging artists. Daniel is a painter with roots in photography and new media whose cinematic, textured, and vibrant paintings feature whimsical worlds of fantastical creatures and imagined destinations. Working with oil and acrylic on a large scale, she weaves intricate female-centric narratives within her paintings, which are often tinged with humor and satire. She playfully uses references from theater, film, books, architecture and art history in order to create imaginary worlds that feel familiar and nostalgic to us, while playing on our desire and longing to escape.Kosann's paintings are sold in a gallery at the iconic Bergdorf Goodman store in New York City. She recently had her first solo exhibition at Rosenbaum Contemporary Palm Beach in February 2024, Her work is also on permanent view at The Carlyle Hotel in New York City and has an upcoming solo exhibition at Salon 21 in New York City in October. Her work is also on permanent view at The Carlyle Hotel in New York City. The central theme of Danielle's upcoming solo show, The Mysteries That Were Ours revolves around the pursuit of freedom and the desire to escape, particularly as it pertains to women. The exhibition is composed of 18 paintings, 15 of which fit together as an installation to comprise one large scene. The paintings work together to explore the transformative journeys that women undertake, showcasing an imagined world in which women thrive without societal boundaries.https://www.salontwenty-one.comhttps://daniellekosann.com

My special guest in today's episode of If Not Now Wen is Alex Bass. Alex is a founder and investor who is obsessed with product, automation, and integration. Over a decade ago, Alex Bass founded Efficient App with the goal of helping teams find and integrate their perfect software stack. From seeing first-hand the time savings these tools resulted in, he knew he wanted to get involved on a deeper level. What started as a healthy obsession in product feedback, evolved into a budding career in angel investing. In July 2021, his first investment was put into Motion. Over the 12 months that followed, an additional 18 startups were added to his portfolio, all with a primary focus in efficiency B2B SaaS. Alex is passionate about creating relationships, and he creates impact through a desire to help and provide support. Alex has a transparency and authenticity that is so refreshing. He is such an inspiration, and I know you will love this episode as much as I do. We talk about:
Our dynamic duo of Gav Henderson and Chris Wynn got together to discuss the amazing last minute 'hand of cod' equaliser from Alex Bass against the scu… nah only joking - this was recorded prior to that hilarious moment - instead we're covering the Lads trip to Luton at the weekend in the Championship, Embo's equaliser, and looking ahead to Huddersfield on Wednesday night! What's the crack? Luton is a terrible place, congratulations to the travelling support for making it back home. So what did the lads make of Sunderland's performance against the might of Luton Town? Was that a deserved equaliser after falling behind late in the first half? BREAKING; The ref was a bit shite again… EMBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO etcWith quite a few decent individual performances, the lads discuss the talent of the side and try work out who stood out above the rest; We have strikers again! Well.. we have one striker back at least - so what did we make of the return of Ellis Simms? How did the lads rate Tony Mowbray's 800th career match as a manager - could his game management be further improved or are people being slightly harsh with their criticism? Looking ahead to Huddersfield on Wednesday night - How do the lads think we'll be shaping up on our trip to the John Smith's Stadium? All this and more! Thanks for listening! Ha'way the Lads! #SAFC #EFLChampionship #EFL Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Rich explains the fortnight absence before delving into all the goalkeeping action from the weekend, plus a few snippets we missed last time out. There's a nod to three goalkeeping substitutions in the Premier League (plus another in the Scottish Championship), matchwinning performances from Illan Meslier and David de Gea (although the latter still not deemed decent enough for a provisional 55-man Spain squad) and a return to form and action for Danny Ward and Mark Travers respectively. The klaxon is sounded thanks to Nik Tzanev's pinpoint distribution as AFC Wimbledon beat Harrogate - and there's even a goalkeeper goal to celebrate courtesy of Alex Bass' last-gasp equaliser for Sunderland U21 at Newcastle. --- Thank you, as always, for your support. Please feel free to drop us a line with absolutely any goalkeeping queries and questions. hello@goalkeepersunion 07503673020 (WhatsApp) @GKUnion (Twitter) @gkupodcast (Instagram) Oh, and if you like what we do, we'd be hugely appreciative if you scribbled it on a review over at iTunes. Cheers!
Pompey signed highly rated Spurs striker Dane Scarlett as we recorded our season preview. Hugh, Freddie and Joth discuss Pompey's new signing and luckily we prepared in case the news broke when we recorded! The lads make their predictions for where Pompey will finish this season so you lot can tell us how wrong we were! We finish the pod with our first preview of the season vs Sheffield Wednesday. This episode includes: - Michael Morrison signing - Alex Bass to Sunderland. - Dan Scarlett signing - Players to go out on loan? - Who else does Pompey need to sign? - Season predictions and your questions - Sheffield Wednesday preview.

This episode is all about understanding what actually goes on when an agency is on and OFFBOARDING your user (which was their referral), and the issues that can arise from that process being broken. Read the article or listen in. If you do not have a good relationship with your SaaS partners – the people inside the organization on the sales, CS or product teams – you are not in a good position to make partnerships a value-add for your agency. In this discussion, Alex Bass, the founder of Cyber Bytes Inc, a successful reseller of tools like Copper CRM, Pandadoc, Asana and more, discusses his road to reseller-ship and the recent bumps he experienced. The main takeaways from our discussion are as follows: Find a hub tool which you can build more reseller relationships off of (more native integrations). Get involved in the communities (help communities and user forums/groups). Really learn the tool (partner webinars, docs, implementations). Develop relationships with the product and CS teams (continually inform their new team members of your agency and what sort of. referrals you are after). Find out and vet your software partners’ PRM to ensure your clients won’t be handcuffed in any way (demo their PRM and ask what happens if your referral wants to de-couple the relationships). Keep the clients’ experience at the forefront of the relationship (care less about the referral fee’s and more about the client experience). Stay away from software partners who are constantly pushing you to bring them more referrals (this needs to happen naturally).
Say hello to Alex Bass, founder + CEO of CyberBytes and host of Analysis Paralysis, a podcast focused on business process design on the show this week!

Today we are happy to announce Alex Bass, better known as „D33P“, as our latest member in our bartender team. Based in Tel Aviv, Israel, Alex has a broad experience in the electronic music business with releases on noteworthy labels and under various aliases (such as Colorless). After founding his own graphic design company and the birth of his daughter two years ago, it got quite around D33P and releases or guest sets became very rare. We are happy to have him back today with a declicious Jack Rose, packed with deep and techy sounds, mixed exclusively for Schirmchendrink. And we are looking forward to new D33P grooves coming up on his own imprint D33P Music. Cheers, The bartenders.
