Jimbo's got James Horncastle, Seb Stafford-Bloor, Julien Laurens and Pol Ballús alongside him to recap the latest action from across the continent. Serie A saw goals AND penalty saves aplenty - with David de Gea snatching the headlines in Fiorentina's victory over Milan while Marcus Thuram and Mateo Retegui both bagging hat-tricks in big wins for Inter and Torino. Speaking of hat-tricks, Robert Lewandowski rolled back the years as he scored three of his own as Barcelona cruised to victory against Alaves. They've got a three-point advantage over Real Madrid - who are battling injury and personnel issues but won against an impressive Villarreal side. Oh, and Paulo Gazzaniga managed a remarkable feat between the sticks… In Germany there was late drama at Deutsche Bank Park as Eintracht Frankfurt and Bayern Munich drew 3-3, while Bayer Leverkusen let a two-goal lead slip as Holstein Kiel came from behind to earn an unlikely point.PSG's difficult week continued as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Nice - leaving Monaco clear at the top of the Ligue 1 table after their 2-1 win at Rennes. Elsewhere Lille backed up their Real Madrid Champions League triumph by beating Toulouse 2-1. Produced by Lucy Oliva. Sometimes you witness a passage of play in goalkeeping that simply makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand to attention. This weekend, Robert Sanchez and Matz Sels contributed to a "save off" that earned a point for their respective sides Chelsea and Nottingham Forest. Incredible goalkeeping in an incredible moment. For Liverpool, Czech 23-year-old Vitezslav Jaros made his Premier League debut when coming on as a second-half replacement for Alisson in the win over Crystal Palace. He did well, reopening the discussion on whether young or old is suited better to that No3 spot. Established Goalkeeper Coach, David Rouse - in for Richard Lee this week - gives his opinion on the above, as well as casting an eye over the best action from the EFL. Paul Nardi continues to enhance his reputation at QPR, Illan Meslier is the subject of 'Keeper Capers for the freak goal which saw Sunderland scrape a draw with Leeds and Connor Ripley stakes his claim for Performance of the Weekend thanks to his starring role in Port Vale's victory at Notts County. Lastly, we touch on the return of David de Gea. The Spaniard saved two penalties in Fiorentina's triumph over AC Milan, although remarkably two less than Paulo Gazzaniga managed in a week thanks to heroics in Girona's games with Feyenoord and Athletic Bilbao.
Cows? Check. Grilled cheese? Check. Ice cream? You bet! As one of the sweetest traditions at World Dairy Expo, the GEA Farm Technologies ice cream stand marks its 20th year in Madison. Sue Begg, GEA's Marketing and Communications Manager, is the mastermind behind the stand, spending six months getting everything ready for the big event. “We serve around 12,000 to 13,000 dishes of ice cream during the four-day show,” says Begg. “With warm weather expected this year, we're hoping to exceed those numbers.” Begg works closely with Cedar Crest Ice Cream to ensure they have everything needed. “We pre-order 420 tubs of ice cream,” she explains. In addition to ice cream, cups, and spoons, Begg manages a team of around 200 volunteers, including 135 Wisconsin FFA members who help scoop the ice cream. Finally, McMike and Producer Mike get a chance to talk without Tito bringing weird medieval history into the conversation. Instead, we can focus on, y'know, actual Fiorentina stuff. We start with a rundown of Fiorentina's preseason thus far and what we can glean from it (Barák in midfield? Kean looking good?), and then, because that's all too happy, we turn to a topic that will crater any good vibes. We're talking, of course, about the transfer market. We start with the outgoing--Nico González, Sofyan Amrabat--and then turn to the (possibly) incoming--Tanner Tessmann, Edoardo Bove, Albert Guðmundsson, David de Gea (whoopsie that actually happened)--and try to figure out just what this club's vision is. Spoiler alert: the conclusions we reached were uh pretty grim, touching on the long-term plans and how ambitious the Viola really are. Along the way, we learned about McMike's Handsomeness Index, how many times you can fool Producer Mike, and which words we need Tito to pronounce. It's the opening act before the main event, the starter before the main course, the sun cream before the inevitable burn - it's the Community Shield at Wembley, and it's a derby day special! Manchester United and Manchester City will face off in the capital for the third time in just over a year, and with both teams taking an FA Cup each, this one should be spicy. But United have their injury concerns, and Guardiola's side have looked limp in preseason, so who will take it? And Tottenham may finally have a striker to fill the Harry Kane void, with a £65M cheque being written for an English striker who scored 19 goals last season. Are Spurs being taken for a ride with the fee, or is it the perfect fit? Plus - David de Gea finally has a new club!

This week we're doing a REWIND - enjoy! :) --- This week Jamie talks to Lilly Ludwig, animal intuitive. Jamie discovered Lilly on TikTok (of course!) and then waited three months for an appointment so that she could talk to her childhood cat Angel, who passed away in 2011. They talk about how and when Lilly realized that she was different from other kids and had a special gift, exactly what animals sound like (spoiler alert: they don't all have British accents like Jamie wanted to think, lol), and so much more about communicating with not only cats and dogs, but horses and other (less cute) animals, too! They end the episode when Lilly talks to Jamie's cats, Gemma and Gea, and we laugh a ton. If you love animals, this episode is definitely for you!
